We arrived at the hotel after a long travel day in the early evening and the receptionist was very friendly, listened and gave us two nice rooms with views towards the city (rather than the station and rail-tracks). The rooms were clean and had amenities such as a kettle. What really rocked was the breakfast. An excellent choice of cold and warm, a very good handmade fruit-salad and bircher musli. As I am someone using the stairs rather than the elevator to do some steps, I really enjoyed the motivating messages on each floor of the staircase. Good idea! Overall great value for our money. Thank you so much for this wonderful stay, we will come back when the opportunity arises.

A Grave Disappointment at Leonardo Hotel Mannheim City Center... Having made reservations for a suite at the Leonardo Hotel Mannheim City Center for our stay from April 5th to April 7th, 2024, we were looking forward to a serene weekend break. Our booking was made on January 5th, 2024, ensuring that we planned well in advance for what was supposed to be a relaxing retreat. Imagine our astonishment when, merely a week before our arrival, we were bluntly notified that no rooms were available. This abrupt notice came as a complete surprise, especially considering our early reservation and the clear communications we had with the hotel subsequently. The hotel's sheer lack of initiative in offering us any alternative or solution was thoroughly disheartening. Our booking was summarily cancelled just days ahead of our intended visit, without any prior consultation or effort to accommodate us in any way. Though they stated there would be no extra charges due to the cancellation, this scant consolation does nothing to alleviate the profound inconvenience and utter lack of professionalism we encountered. I am profoundly disappointed by this experience. The absence of service was not just poor; it was completely lacking. This incident has entirely deterred me from considering a future stay at the Leonardo Hotel Mannheim City Center, and I strongly advise potential guests to reconsider their options. The failure to demonstrate any form of empathy, understanding, or competence in customer service throughout this ordeal was not just surprising; it was unacceptable. Sadly, it is clear that this establishment does not value its guests or their experiences.

Ich war schon einige Male im Maritim, es gibt nix zu meckern. Das Frühst ück ist sehr gut, dass ist für mich wichtig. Konnte auch immer Bekannte zum Frühstück zusätzlich mit einladen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber.

Die Lage war für mich eigentlich ganz gut. Eine kleine Aufklärung hat mir gefehlt, was und wie und wo sich alles im Hotel befindet. Ich musste da selbst zurecht kommen. Klar kann man da Fragen stellen, aber ich bin der Meinung, dass es sowas aus dem Hotelpersonal selbstverständlich kommen sollte.

We came two hours early. In all hotels we were when a guest arrive, the try to finish its room earlier. Not in this hotel. The check in starts at 15:00 to all guests. Hotel management prefers to se me sleep on a couch in the lobby and not resting in their room. So we will wait patiently untill 15:00, and then wait in the line to get our key. Room is OK. No ventilation in bathroom. Coffee machine - really disgusting. We did not try. Location: Perfect for our personal needs Parking: Public parking with a direct connection to the hotel. We were told the price per day is 12 EUR. We stayed less but paid more. 20 EUR. Never mind. General look: Decorated. Nice. Next time in Mannheim: not at this hotel. Date of stay: June 2023

Fantastic welcome, very helpful reception team, lovely business room. Bathroom ok a little old fashioned in the decor, but very clean, and a nice shower. Restaurant sraff, very accommodating and there was BBQ the evening we were staying, perfectly cooked meats, poultry and salad and desserts where great. Would highly recommend this hotel, very clean, and friendly.

Akses Internet wayarles percuma disediakan untuk membolehkan anda sentiasa berhubung. Bilik mandi persendirian dilengkapkan dengan tab mandi rendaman dalam. Kemudahan yang disediakan merangkumi peti besi dan meja, manakala pengemasan disediakan setiap hari.

+ Personal am Empfang meistenteils freundlich aber ahnungslos. + Frühstück ordentlich und auf Wunsch glutenfreies Brot. + Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofs praktisch. - Die Lage ist laut, dafür kann das Hotel aber nichts. - Zimmereinrichtung aus den 80ern, nie renoviert: fleckiger Teppichboden, rissiger Vorhang, ausgefranste Bettkante, abgestoßene Möbel. In einem Schrank war früher mal ein Kühlschrank, jetzt nur ein Loch. Handtuchhalter im Bad wies Grünspan auf. - dreckig, dreckiger, Novum: überall wird man mit Aufklebern und Zettelchen dazu aufgefordert, doch auf die Zimmerreinigung zu verzichten und stattdessen ein Gratisgetränk zu nehmen. Damit täte man ”etwas gutes”. Offenbar geht das Management davon aus, dass die Gäste nicht viel Wert auf Sauberkeit legen, denn der Hänger für die Tür, an der man in normalen Hotels wählen kann zwischen ”lass mich schlafen” und ”putz bitte mein Zimmer” , lässt hier nur die Option ”lass mich schlafen” und ”bitte nicht putzen, ich nehme das Gratisgetränk”. Ich wollte ja, dass mein Zimmer geputzt wird, daher habe das Teil nicht aufgehängt. Als ich nach mehreren Stunden Abwesenheit wieder ins Hotel kam, war offensichtlich jemand im Zimmer und hat meine Bettdecke gefaltet. Nur die Decke! Weder das Kissen aufgeschüttelt, noch gesaugt oder das Bad geputzt. Nichts! Als ich das an der Rezeption monierte, schaute man mich nur kuhäugig an. Insgesamt eine widerliche Erfahrung, die zu allem Überfluss noch nicht einmal billig war. Bei ca. 85 € pro Nacht erwarte ich kein Grandhotel aber doch zumindest keine derart gammelige Absteige.

The area of Mannheim is not very nice. The hotel is ok. The staff was very friendly and the bartenders were very nice. we ate dinner at the bar which was fine, The rooms felt a bit dated and were not attractive - I felt like I was in an hourly rate room. If I had to I would stay there again, but not sure I am recommending Mannheim to anyone - ever.
