Incredible, amazing, beautiful, magical. There are so many words to describe this incredible place. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by super friendly and attentive staff, with cold and hot towels as we checked in, fresh leakage juice and assigned our room. We had chosen a luxury tent. The area is stunning, boasting beautiful wooden features, a stunning pool, and seating areas looking over the Mara river, where hippos are a permanent resident! The luxury tent itself is incredible. A large double bed, en-suite bathroom and toilet, and seating area. It feels like a hotel room more than a tent. Plenty of bottled waters are provided in the room everyday, you will never go short. The bed is comfy and warm, and there is plenty of storage for all your items. You have a personal butler who attends your tour tent. Every morning cleaning and at night turning down the room with hot water bottles and chocolates left on the pillow. If you wish for a wake up call they will wake you with fresh Kenyan coffee and pastries. A special thanks to our butler ‘Elphas’ who was fantastic. There is no iron in the room, but they will iron clothes for you free of charge. There is also 3 items of laundry provided free of charge every day of your visit. So it’s super easy, you just leave out the clothes you want and it is returned fresh, clean and ironed. At night you will hear every animal, including lions, hippos, monkeys. It can get quite loud, which is amazing! But we would advise some ear plugs if you want to block out the noise! The tent is super secure and safe. Not one insect entered our tent during our stay, that’s how zip right the tents are. The food is 10/10. There is so much food provided that you will never leave the camp other than full! Everything is a la carte, with the menu for lunch and dinner changing every day. There is a wide variety of choices. All menus included a starter, soup dish, main and desert. With options for a European dish, rice dish and and a local dish most days. Still and sparkling water provided and of course a choice of drinks from the menu. Our waitress was ‘Daisy’, and we can’t thank her enough. Her professionalism and kindness was second to none, and she always spent time with us discussing our safari and teaching us Swahili. She really went the extra mile during our stay. Breakfast was also a la carte, with everything you can think of. We could not fault any dish, all the food tasted incredible and you never leave hungry. If you wish for a packed lunch to made, the resort will pack you one for your safari. Even this was incredible, with a large 4 course meal packed from a packed lunch menu offering 3 different choices. Outside area as mentioned is beautiful. During our stay we saw hippos, giraffes, monkeys and elephants pass by the river. Cheetahs and lions were also spotted roaming the area outside during our stay. To travel to the Mara triangle it can be quite a long drive, on some difficult roads. So just be pr
