I recently stayed in a single room here. I knew from the website description it was an older room and would not be fancy, but I just needed a decent place to stay. I was pleasantly surprised how nice this older hotel was. My room was spotlessly clean, the price was fair, and breakfast was really good. Service was always friendly and they have nice extra touches throughout like a bedtime story laid on the desk. It's also in a great location. I have absolutely no complaints. I would definitely stay here again!

I was expecting a very average hotel based on reviews but we were very happy with the Welcome Hotel. The receptionists were friendly, the hotel reception was very nice, the breakfast buffet was very tasty and had premium items like jams, teas, etc. the restaurant was beautiful, esp the seats outside. The location of the hotel is unbeatable, with a parking just below the hotel (expensive at 15 euros a day, pay at the reception to pay a cheaper rate), and the elevator to Marburg upper town (old town) right opposite. Marktplatz is 2 mins away. The Junior suite was perfect for our family of 3: huge, with two separate sections. The sofa cum bed was quite hard, but our bed was comfy and the room had a walk in closet and coffee machine! The room was very modern. I had read many reviews about the AC not being effective but it was excellent. During the heat wave, we were very cozy in our perfect temperature room. I have only compliments for this place!

Sehr gute Lage mitten in der Unterstadt. Rundherum Geschäfte, überwiegend Ketten. .Wer mit dem Auto anreist hat das Parkhaus direkt dabei. Preis für heutige Verhältnisse moderat. Vom Bahnhof fahren Busse direkt vors Haus. Wir waren mit einer Gruppe dort. Die Zimmer befinden sich im 4. Stock in endlos langen Gängen und sind über einen Zahlencode erreichbar. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer, das war okay, Bad sehr schön und sauber, Seife und Fön vorhanden. Teppichboden in so einem neuen Haus ist nicht so meins. Das Zimmer hatte recht kleine Fenster, die Matratze war mir persönlich viel zu fest. Klimaanlage ist vorhanden..Da hatten Andere aus meiner Gruppe deutlich mehr Glück mit dem Zimmer. Aber generell kann ich das Hotel empfehlen, für einen Städtetrip perfekt. Das Frühstück war für 10,50€ prima, ein 2. Kaffeeautomat wäre nicht schlecht wenn das Hotel gut besucht ist, um Schlangenbildung zu vermeiden. Das Personal beim Frühstück war sehr freundlich. Marburg hat eine sehr schöne Altstadt, Kneipen und Restaurants ohne Ende, allerdings sind überall große Höhenunterschiede zu überwinden. Überall lange Treppen und Kopfsteinpflaster. Ca. 400 Meter vom Hotel entfernt gibt es einen Aufzug in die Oberstadt. Das ist praktisch. Dort gibt es auch viele kleine Geschäfte in den Gassen. Wer hoch zum Schloß möchte muss entweder viele Treppen überwinden oder kann mit einem kleinen Citybus (Nr.10) hochfahren. Dort hat man einen herrlichen Blick. Das Innere des Schlosses finde ich nicht so sehenswert.

Das Tusculum hat einen äußerst netten und zugewandten Besitzer, der mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Die Zimmer sind sauber und witzig eingerichtet , ich war bei Charlie Chaplin zu Gast. Die Lage ist super, wenige Schritte bis zur Lahn, 10 Minuten in die Oberstadt, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ebenfalls fußläufig. Restaurants und Cafés befinden sich in unmttelbarer Nähe. Ich habe das Zimmer mit Gemeinschafts-Toilette und -Dusche gebucht, eine gute Wahl und ein faires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

ein Stadthotel das zentral liegt, Bus Anbindung in 2 Gehminuten Ruhig , sauber wir kommen wieder, wenn es nach Hessen geht das Frühstück ist super, schöne Auswahl. Parkplätze sind auch vorhanden sogar ein Supermarkt ist in der nähe, für den Fall man hat etwas vrgessen

We zouden een maand eerder gekomen zijn, maar door een klein ongeluk tijdens de reis ernaar toe moesten we afbellen. Zonder probleem konden we de reis voor een maand later boeken. Zeer sympathiek. De ontvangst was prima. Aardige en behulpzame receptionist. Fraaie kamer met prima bed. Mooie omgeving. Als wandelaar kun je direct uit het hotel mooie wandelingen maken. Het all inclusive concept is prima. Zowel het ontbijt als de lunch als het diner zijn prima, evenals de koffie met gebak in de middag. Telkens een uitgebreide keus met prima producten en voor elk wat wils. Gratis bowlen was ook leuk en het ruime zwembad is prima. Al met al zeer aanbevelenswaardig om naar Am Fang te gaan met één kanttekening. Wij hadden aangenaam weer maar niet heel warm. Door het ontbreken van klimaatregeling kan het bij heel warm weer wel onaangenaam warm worden, zowel in de kamers als in het restaurant. Wat dit betreft moet je dus in de zomer wel een beetje geluk hebben.

DDestination288762We had a great time at the Vila Vita Rosenpark. We loved the very nice interior design, spotless cleanliness, the good location very close to central station and just a short walk to the Old Town, the beautiful spa with special features such as a snow cabin and salt chamber and the amazing breakfast buffet. And what shines even more than all these features are the generally very friendly staff, with a special mention to Mrs. Silke Wank and her colleague Michael for their smiley cheerful service during our breakfasts, which gave us positive energy and put us into good mood right from the start of the day. We highly appreciated their genuine friendliness and interest in their guests' well-being. Thank you very much and we hope to be back one day.

Wir sind auf der Durchreise auf das Hotel gestoßen. Da wir bereits sehr spät waren, hatten wir Sorgen, dass das Hotel Restaurant schon geschlossen ist, wenn wir ankommen. Am Telefon wurde uns jedoch sehr freundlich zugesichtert, dass wir noch, auch wenn verspätet aber was zu essen bekommen. Es wurde nicht zu viel versprochen! Als wir ankamen, wurden wir sehr herzlich begrüßt, das Essen kam schnell und war köstlich! Im Laufe des Abends hatten wir ein sehr nettes Gespräch mit dem Team des Hotels und Nachdem wir berichtet hatten, dass wir gern ein wenig länger schlafen, wurde uns ein kleines Frühstück zu einer späteren Uhrzeit und ein Late Check Out angeboten! Das Zimmer war etwas klein, jedoch sauber, gemütlich und wir konnten vor der Weiterreise uns sehr gut erholen. Alles in einem ein sehr gemütliches hübsches Hotel mit einem unfassbar herzlichen jungen Team! Wer in der Gegend einkehren möchte, sollte unbedingt in dem Hotel einen Stopp machen und es sich gut gehen lassen!
