Wonderful Stay in the Margaret River. This is a beautiful 5 star property set in a magical garden. The service was exceptional. When we asked if the outside hallway light could be turned down overnight the manager organised for the electrician to visit that day - problem fixed. They have a brand new washer and dryer on premises which I used - the lovely concierge on the front desk put my washing in the dryer while I was out visiting wineries. No request was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious- our omelettes were 2 of the best we’ve had in a long time. They offer free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and home cake every afternoon- it’s a great way to recover from too many wine tastings. Hopefully we will visit the Margaret river again and when we do we will be staying at Basildene manor.

The place was very busy when we arrived as everyone it seems was watching boxing on TV in the “common” a bar/restaurant attached to the resort. I was surprised by how many units there were, the place is a bit out of the way, the very pleasant receptionist had allocated a one bed upstairs apartment overlooking the surrounding area sea view. There was plenty of free parking right outside the apartment. The unit had a separate bedroom with ceiling fan, a large clean comfortable bed. In the apartment was a small kitchenette with hob, microwave and toaster. The bathroom had a Spa bath with overhead shower, also there was avery useful washing machine and dryer. Outside i opposite was a decent sized swimming pool with some loungers, however pool towels are not provided here. These are ideal if you intend to self cater, most of the people staying I guess probably brought a good supply of food with them as the nearest shops would be back in Margaret River Town, a good 10 minutes drive. There is a bar / restaurant on site, breakfast can be had at the White Elephant beach cafe across the Road 5 minutes walk beach side. Margaret River beach apartments is a super place to stay at both for travelling through and holidaying.

Situato in una zona molto tranquilla. Le cose positive si fermano qui. Appena entri, un odore di lettiera per la cacca dei gatti, probabilmente il tappeto, ti assale immediatamente. La colazione “compresa” consiste in cornflakes , pane, latte e succo d’arancio messi su un tavolo di vetro all’ingresso. Arrangiati! La notte, improvvisamente partono dei rumori che sembra di viaggiare su una nave cargo. I letti non vengono fatti e le stoviglie te le devi lavare tu. Non c’è una pentola per poter cucinare un piatto di pasta. La reception non rispetta gli orari di apertura. Non esiste rapporto qualità prezzo. Il costo della camera è quello di un hotel di alto livello, ma il servizio e la struttura sono da motel di bassissima categoria. Cercate altrove e se non trovate a Margaret River, ci sono un sacco di piccoli villaggi nei dintorni dove trovare di meglio.

We had an accommodation emergency as our Air BnB wasn’t ready so these guys took us in at short notice at 6pm. We had a loft apartment (double room & two singles in the loft) so was very spacious for two is us. Everything we needed was in the apartment and staff were very friendly and helpful. Convenient location for the centre of Margaret River. We then actually stayed an extra night as very happy with the place!

Our friend booked your place for a special birthday where we enjoyed a two night stay. Parking up our vehicle and walking everywhere through Margaret River. We had a wonderful time drifting around all the Margaret River region has to offer and RAC was perfectly located for that. It had all the facilities we needed and was great to come 'home' to. We used the outdoor BBQ everyday and it was roomy enough for.everyone to spread out, indoors on the couch in front of TV or outdoors on the comfy couch under the covered deck. We especially liked being able to cook breakfast and dinner, which saved us a lot of money, and the supermarkets were so handy.

Pemandangan tamannya bagus walaupun musim sejuk. Pagi itu sejuk tetapi kami masih duduk di luar untuk melihat burung-burung bermain dan berkicau. Terdapat juga jalan hutan pendek di bahagian belakang yang cukup bagus. Mendapat beberapa gambar bunga yang bagus. Adakah mengesyorkan. :)

PPengguna TetamuAfter we made the booking at eight willows iconic room no 2, we managed to get an extention till 11am check out via email. On our arrival, staff verbally confirmed 1 hour extension till 12 noon checkout on condition after calling and confirming 2 hours prior of checkout. On the day of check out we called up the reception at 10am which was addressed by the accomadation manager who refused to give a late checkout and asked us to leave by 10am. I made her clear the email confirmation for 11 am checkout and later a verbal confirmation for 12 noon checkout, which she refused to grant and insited to leave at 10.15am. A family of 2 adult 2 kids cannot make up a checkout within that 15 minutes which I insisted, as a result she granted another 15 minutes. She was very rude from the initial conversation itself and kept insisting what she said earlier. We were really impressed with the resort, rooms, location and 1st day of service from the reception. Our experience was ruined just b'coz of the accomadation manager' s unacceptabl conversation.

SSightseer42259720874Having been to Margaret River a few times, this time we wanted to stay somewhere that we didn't have to drive out just to eat or get groceries. So this seemed to be ideal; 1 street away from the main street of Bussel Highway, and within sight of a Coles supermarket. Margaret River is a quiet town, so even with a bus stop right outside our apartment, there were buses waiting there only for about 15 mins each morning and we didn't really hear any engine sounds that bothered us. We went by to have a look-see as we were walking around the town, and fortuitously met the owner, who allowed us to check-in earlier as there wasn't anyone occupying the apartment the night before. Great bonus as we had driven down from Perth and wanted to unpack & rest. We had the end unit so didn't have to share the entrance with other guests. The living & dining areas were really huge, with acres of space for 4 people. Each one of us could have our own space on the sofas or balcony, and gathered at the dining table (which could seat 8) for meals & games. Secured parking in a garage just under the unit was also great, so that we didn't have to depend on street-side parking. Had a great time there and was able to walk to all the places to eat, see & shop in Margaret River! Most convenient place to stay, and also got a discount by booking directly with the apartments instead of through a 3rd party booking site.

The hotel is cosy and welcoming with a warm and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The cleanliness of the hotel is flawless as everything was spotless, which is a big deal to me when it comes to picking a hotel.
We were very excited to find out that the hotel was just 10 minutes away from the town, which made it convenient to explore the city. What really stood out about this hotel for me though was the spa that was located in our room. The spa was perfect for relaxing and was just what we needed after a long day of exploring. It made our stay at the hotel so much better and enjoyable. I will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area again!

PPengguna TetamuDo not stay here unless you want to sleep inside a reverberating, thumping beer garden. The noise was loud from the time we checked in at 2pm until 10pm with revelers making noise until much later. After the band finished, we contended with revelers skylarking, tooting horns and their head lights as they left the complex. This hotel is not suitable for families with children. The walls shook and vibrated and not in a good AC/DC way. It is not fair to charge $378 a night (2 Adults, 1 Child) in exchange for a thumping headache. This place needs to decide if it is either a pub or a place where people can sleep. The beer garden noise was not divulged on booking or website. It was not until we received confirmation the day before our stay were we made aware of the pub noise. There are 3 different names for complex, so it is hard to ascertain what you are in for. Broken power points, saucepans with handles barely hanging on, soft beds that needed to go to the tip 10 years ago, blinds that were broken and a towel rail fell off the wall. Broken fridge shelf- wine bottle fell to the floor. Soap holder so loose the soap kept falling to the floor. Yes, it is a big unit which has a kitchen and washing machine. But give it a miss and find somewhere better maintained and where you can actually sleep.

VVicLamWe arrived just before the office closes at 6pm. The girls at the office were super friendly and helpful. They suggested where we can grab our dinner. As the front room is not installed with a heater, they offered a portable fan heater for me to use which turned out to be a blessing. The rooms were very clean and we totally enjoyed our stay there. We even got to see a sky full of stars!! Overall, very happy with our booking.

I enquired about staying an extra night and they accommodated during a busy period and made the transition effortless. Location is the best I’ve had in Margaret River being located right in the centre of town and you can tell they really take pride in ensuring you have a very comfortable stay whilst here.
