Hotel 3 Bintang di Marina del Rey

Great location, recently renewed interiors, good services.

Zentrale Lage im Herzen von Marina del Rey. Wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer mit Balkon und teilweise Blick auf den Strand. Das Hotel verfügt über ein Restaurant, Bar und einen Außenpool. Der Jachthafen von Marina del Rey, Venice Beach und viele Restaurants, Geschäfte und Supermarkt sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Parken in der Tiefgarage ist mit $29 pro Tag allerdings sehr teuer, insbesondere da direkt neben dem Hotel ein günstigerer öffentlicher Parkplatz ist. Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

The Kinney was a delight. The edgy style it shows amongst its decor is welcoming and the staff are attentive and happy to assist. The two rooms we booked were clean, well maintained and comfortable. Would absolutely stay in this area and at The Kinney again.

Great view from my room. Had an actual balcony. The only downside was the small room size.

I booked this hotel last minute when me and my son were on a road trip. It had bad reviews, but the price was 1/3 price of other places in the area. So we thought we’d chance it for one night. CHECK IN - was very fast and we were given a ticket to put in our car for free parking in the hotel car park. The guy checking us in was very friendly and looked a bit like a surfer. ROOM - our room was down stairs and was a bit rough round the edges. I can see why people complained, because this place isn’t up to American standards. It had two double beds in our room, a very old tv, no tea/coffee and the furniture looked like it was from the 1970’s. The bathroom was old, but there was a hairdryer and also an iron in the room. Outside we had a large patio area with table and chairs. It had a glass window that overlooked the marina and beach. LOCATION- this was a perfect location round the corner from Venice beach and on the marina. There were restaurants nearby and the beach at the marina could be accessed directly by a gate at the hotel. I loved the location of this place! OVERALL- this place was much cheaper than other places in the area, so you get what you pay for. It has old furniture, is more like a surfers lodge than a hotel. But I loved the vibe here & the location was ideal. The Marriott hotel is right near here, so if you want higher standards and better rooms, stay here but you will be paying 4 x the price! If you are just having an overnight stay or don’t intend to sit in your hotel all day, then this hotel is fine. I would definitely stay here again if the price was good. Free parking and great location right on the beach.

Good location. View from hotel is great. Do note there is a destination fee of USD10 per accomodation per night. This is excluded from the hotel accommodation which have to be paid.

Honestly. A lovely hotel but not worth the price If you are going, just make sure u don't get room 1102. Even front desk staff agreed she hears complaints about it's size and location frequently
