BV Borgo Del Principe

Borgo del Principe is a lovely garden village hotel. Most of the rooms are located within separate 4-room buildings scattered around the grounds. All of them are above sea level and located in a lush garden, so there is no sea view. There are plenty of birds chirping away though! The hotel has its own beach with free sunloungers and umbrellas, as well as a small pool, which is open when the lifeguard is on duty. There are more sunloungers by the pool. The staff at the hotel are very nice and helpful, a special shout out to the cleaning staff who are super hard working and always willing to help! Most of the staff doesn't speak much English (they try though!), but that is probably because the hotel caters to guests from all over Europe, so I bet they do speak German and French etc :) If you need to have a conversation in English, find Bianca on the front desk, she's great and will definitely help!!! The food at the hotel is exquisite, I loved the evening meals, there was plenty to choose from every night, and the menu changed constantly. If you like Italian cuisine, this is the place to visit! Lunches were also great, we always left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. Breakfasts offered similar choice every morning, but we were happy with salami and cheese sandwiches, tomatoes and mozzarella aplenty, a wide variety of pastries and cakes, and of course Italian coffee. I miss all this food already. The only thing that's not so great about Borgo del Principe is the hotel's location in a small town of Zambrone, which doesn't really have a ***** to walk on or any shops apart from a lovely gelateria and a local grocery shop around a 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel. But if your aim is to spend a week on a beach or by the pool interspersed with delicious food, then you're good to go!

We were moved to the Borgo Del Principe about 10 days before we were due to go to another hotel, the reason was the hotel was not ready. We were compensated with All Inclusive. Imagine our shock on day one when we found we were NOT booked All Inclusive (as we know and expect it) what was included was a rough local wine at lunch and evening meal and a very poor beer from a tap, I dont know the brand. There was a machine giving soft drinks into a small plastic cup but only Coke (flat coke) and orange was available. The grounds are amazing but the rooms are poor, the TVs dont work neither do the phones. Air con is not the best. As for the dining experience we were joined at the time by over 100 young girls on a Volleyball Tournament and the experience was like a school dining room. Plus the food was the same every day and poor quality. WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. NO NO NO NO

The accomodation is in beautiful garden, the staff is helpful, all inclusive does not match - no ice cream, dessert only for dinnet, no prosciuto, for breakfast 2 types of salami and 1 type of cheese (still the same). No shops nearby. The station in Zambrone is about 2 km away, uphill. In the heat og 35 degrees we graduated to Tropea only 1 time. The train leaves in the morning at 7 o' clock and the next at 12 o 'clock. The breakfast is only untill9:00 a.m.

We booked with Tui & on arrival at the airport, the rep advised that our chosen hotel was closed & that Borgo was our destination. This was not the best start but on arrival the surroundings were very lovely. On checking in, it became clear that Borgo is intended for German clients - all of the information in reception is in German. The very blunt receptionist gave us very little information about the hotel so we expected to find this in our room - but no, we returned to ask a series of questions that you would expect were reasonable. Q. What times are meals served? A. The information is on the notice board. Q. But it’s in German Receptionist rolls her eyes and tells us the meal times. Q. What time is the entertainment? A. The entertainment arrives later. Q. What time does it take place? A. We don’t know. Q. Is there entertainment this evening? A. No, tonight is Champions League. After visiting the pool we realised there were no towels so I visited reception again Q. How do we get pool towels please? A. You pay 20 euros for each towel. Q. Can I change them each day? A. No, only once per week. Q. Why didn’t you mention the pool towels when I checked in? A. You did not ask. The restaurant staff were lovely and welcoming and helpful however the reception staff - 2 ladies particularly - were unhelpful and seemed to resent our presence. We used the Tui app to explain how disappointed we were to arrive without any prior warning that our chosen hotel was closed. 48 hours later were offered a move to Tui Magic Life resort just up the road. When we tried to check out a female receptionist was again obstructive, insisting we explain why we wanted to leave. On arrival at Tui Magic Life, we instantly loved it and we were able to forget about Borgo and I would recommend anyone else wishing to stay there to do the same.

Villaggio molto bello personale cortese Ma il punto migliore è stato lo staff dell’animazione super Veramente coinvolgente con tutte le persone veramente dei bravissimi professionisti Sicuramente è da fare un’altra vacanza la consiglierei ad amici

Resort perfetto soprattutto x chi ha bambini a partire dalla comodità della piscina e del mare a due passi senza dover prendere mezzi ...cibo ottimo ...personale Eccellente..molto molto curato ...le stanze pulitissime Una vacanza perfetta

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana a metà luglio in questo meraviglioso villaggio. Anche se inizialmente c'è stata una incomprensione sulla camera , è stato fatto il possibile per rimediare, abbiamo trovato disponibilità, gentilezza e accoglienza . La spiaggia riservata è piccolina ma attrezzata( anche con sedia job che noi abbiamo utilizzato), il mare spettacolare! Assolutamente consigliato, speriamo di tornare presto! Abbiamo dimenticato una piastra GHD e gentilmente ci è stata spedita.. Grazie di tutto ragazzi e a presto!

Ottimo Ho soggiornato in questa bellissima struttura con la mia famiglia la prima settimana di agosto. Locazione invidiabile circondati dal verde tutto molto curato e pulito. Cibo ottimo e personale gentile. Il mare bello anche se qualche giorno presente della schiuma bianca ma questo non dipende dall'organizzazione della struttura. Animazione bravi ma secondo me un po immaturi data la giovane età di tutti. In conclusione sono siamo stati davvero bene in questo posto lo consiglio a tutti.

sono stato al bv borgo del principe e devo dire che le camere sono un disorganizzate con qualche difetto ( mura sgretolate, muffa..) apparte questi dettagli il posto in sé è molto invitante, in merso nella natura con un mare stupendo Il cibo invece dipende dalle giornate avvolte si mangia come si deve e altre volte ti viene voglia di mangiare fuori però sono contento che ci siano le opzioni per celiaci, e infine arriviamo all’animazione spettacolare, animatori vivaci e che riescono sempre a strapparti un sorriso, molto bravi tutti e quanti partendo da paolino e fabrizio che riescono a intrattenerci sempre, non scordiamoci di carlo e gaia molto simpatici ma ringraziamo in particolare anass e serena per tutto quello che hanno fatto per le nostre bimbo non le ho mai viste così sorridenti. Spero che l’anno prossimo ci siano gli stessi animatori.
