Costa Mare Suites

Stayed here for 2 week’s September 2023, On arrival we were given a very nice large room with a big balcony, safe was free to use, the bed actually had a double mattress not 2 singles pushed together which was a bonus, only downside was not very much storage for clothes, could have done with some more hangers and some drawers. The cleaners came on a daily basis and did a marvellous job, room spotless every day with fresh clean towels. The hotel has 2 large pools, we used the relax pool each day which was lovely and clean with its own bar, sun-beds cant be reserved before 7:30. Downsides are the yellow sun beds, most uncomfortable sun-beds I’ve ever sat on, they could really do with upgrading these to the same ones they have around the main pool as this is a real shame. Also they could do with investing in some more plastic cups for around the pool as so many times you would go for a drink and there wouldn’t be any glasses for the bar man to serve you. Food is what you would expect for an all inclusive, breakfast was the same every day however very tasty and something for everyone! We personally really enjoyed the food, although similar every day due to having to cater for so many different ages and nationalities you could tell they really did try to change things up and was always full of flavour, especially the curries which me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed. The pool snack bar was also nice with ham burgers, chicken burgers etc etc and occasionally rotisserie kebabs which were lovely. Staff were always very friendly and polite however the hotel did lack adult entertainment most nights. This did not bother us so much being situated in such an ideal location with shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep and only 20 minute walk to the seafront, 30 minutes to the marina which was filled with hundreds of magnificent boats and plenty of fun trips/excursions to do. All in all we had a great 2 weeks here!

We have been here 20 times at this hotel, for the last 9 years. We love to spend our summerholiday at this hotel. There are Nice clean rooms, 2 pools and 3 slides. One of the pools are a quite pool where the Music are low. The food in the Buffe are delicious, and lots of different food. Every Night we walk to the Marina. Its takes about 15 minuts, and there are lots of shopping and different places to eat.

Just got home from a 2 week stay at this hotel, when we first arrived we were given the wrong room very small no cot for our baby and no bed for our son, as it was a late check in they said they’d sort it following morning which we accepted as we were tired. Next morning different staff on reception said that’s what we booked (clearly it wasn’t) and we had to pay for upgrade even after proving our booking they just shrugged their shoulders at us, Sophie the TUI rep managed to sort this for us straight away, the reception staff are very unwelcoming and unhelpful! However the rest of the staff are brilliant so friendly towards children, couldn’t of helped you enough even called my partner Ragnor Lothbrook the full time (which he loved btw) 😂 . Slides were great my son loved them and tbh it was fine that they came on at set times as my son is only 3 so I had to go on with him so I would of been there all day if so! Ha Food was decent there was always at least something you’d like there. I would of preferred more of a drink selection choice though. Rooms were always clean and the hotel was always immaculate! There wasn’t enough chairs or sunbeds for the guests but tbh we never had an issue as we just made sure we got up early enough to get them etc. There was a couple of incidents in the hotel but the hotel manager dealt with them without any complains, he was such a lovely guy wish we got his name, he was very involved with the jobs of the staff and not just expecting the staff to do it and he was very involved with the guests

Are Hotel was shocking, We had to drink out of plastic cups all week, staff was so rued and ignorant did not speak English at all, Pool water was mucky, nothing for kids to do the slides only come on at set time and they never opened the gates no life Garde on They said it was 4 star its never seen 4 star... Food was shocking they give you burgers every day and chips for breakfast, we went to are TUI rep Sophie over all this and she never got back to use at all.it was meant to be all-inclusive- are kids could only get ice-cream at 4pm till 5pm, bar closed at 11pm- and you could only get larger gin and vodka- cocktails you could only get at 5pm and only have 2 of them, I have worked all year and saved up for use to go and enjoy are self and it was like been in a boriding camp- then a Turkish man stared on my 17 year old son he was so scared... THEN the staff went to sit with this man and drunk beer with him for the rest of the day - Then we all went for dinner in the restraint you couldn't even get a table they was not space for people to sit …Worst holiday Iv Ever had and i booked this with TUI

Arrived to air con dripping like a tap, so informed reception straight away. It took four days for someone to deal with it, while we were putting towels above the Tv unit not for it to blow all the electrics. Walked down for breakfast and sat in the outside area and this place has a really BIG ant problem. They are everywhere. Massive ant nest near reception front door which if you look, you can not miss them. Think people don’t mention it because they are too pissed to notice. Go down the pool after 9am, you can never get a bed so don’t even bother. Want to stay around for the entertainment then expect to sit on the sun loungers because not enough chairs. Bar staff just act as they please and really don’t care about customers. No cups, no ice, no this, no that. Tui rep is on site but 11am while your out on trips is really no good. She clearly is not doing any kind of quality checks on this site and just turns up and goes home. Went to pool bar at 2pm and you get cold chips and cold burgers just stacked up 25 high going cold and food illness waiting to happen. Buffet restaurant is like pot luck about what your eating, one night I thought it was lamb and it was fish…No,No,No.. Last day was drilling to install a new banister in the stair way, no signs about trip risk or anyone guiding customers around the cables running all over the floor. Overall it’s all inclusive but at what cost !!! Enjoy the bad bar staff, the ants and the cold food but you were warned. Pack them in and stack them high is this place now..lost all quality control. Midnight check out was a guy trying to crack on with two girls after he found out they were by themselves, again behaviour breeds behaviour. Management seem to spend more time sat in small offices, than getting out and testing areas they control. Word of advice, leave your office and experience some of your bad service and than you may wish to improve it or not, you may not like your job, like we don’t like your hotel.

Great holiday with the family, made even more special by the fantastic Sue. An absolute bundle of energy from morning till night, always finding time to interact with everyone. All the staff were fantastic and smiling. Great holiday. Would definitely return

we had lovely stay in costa mare suits we loved it especially entertainment team Ahmet and Sue best people in hotel even there was not much people in hotel bc obviously end of session they work hard made sure we all okay and enjoying dart game ‘bye darlingggg ‘ lol we definitely come back ..

Currently still here. Best to review while all the information is fresh in my mind. My 3 star might not reflect overall as it may seem to show only negative. 3 star is mainly for the staff. All staff were friendly, hospitable and approachable. The rest of the review unfortunately is not pleasant. As I travel alot I have visited many hotels, this one has so much potential but fail so badly. On presentation it looks beautiful. 1 - Given 1 key card is ridiculous 2- lifts tiny fit maybe 4 people remaining lifts out of order. 3- Toilets smell, and untidy definitely not maintained. 4- Corridors unbelievable, holes and cracks in Walls. Damp spots on ceiling, empty and filled cups on floor hanging around for more than a day. Remember if rooms are cleaned daily should they not clean the corridors ??? Remember I have not mentioned rooms yet. 5- canteen presentation looks lovely clearly food is recycled and barely warm, 6- I am vegan- no soya milk, no ranges of food for vegan vegetarian. Awful so simple to have a little veg burger and soya milk. 7- Spa, Gym - lovely staff presentation awful, cleanliness awful, toilets smell, cracked , hole walls, floors dirty gym equipment all out of order, dull dull dull...but Staff and service lovely. 8- Pool outside area fine nothing special, ants dirty cups, filled cups everywhere. 9- Animation team - Perfect although songs repeated over again and quite loud. 10- Rooms probably the best, no problem few cracks on wall, little leak on shower, overall fine I would return only if its the last resort, shame all the staff are wonderful

We have never been to Turkey before, I can not rate our first experience enough. Costa mare suites is lovely, the staff are amazing people, helpful, happy, and accommodating. The rooms are clean and spacious and ideal for a family holiday. I would recommend trying the integrated bidet. We all agree it has changed our lives. The food is a buffet service and a reasonable amount of choice. The main dishes change every day, the food quality for the number of people they are catering for is pretty good, definitely recommend the fresh omelette in the morning, and the noodles cooked to order in the evening, my husband fell in love with their chicken korma. The ladies who clean the room, change towels etc are fab, it's done daily, I've been excited to guess how they are going to leave the towels on our bed. You can book trips etc via the rep, however I would suggest you go down to the beach where there are many more choices and less commission. I would highly recommend
