We arrived a little earlier than 3pm. We were greeted coldly by the manager at the front desk who couldn't be bothered to make eye contact let alone crack a smile. He took the payment and just said come back at 3. The hotel is run down, overpacked with locals who run the show. Customer service is like minus 10! Avoid this hotel, esp if you don’t speak the language. The street cats of marrakesh are better treated than non-Arabic speakers. Breakfast is manic, so badly organised. I'm glad we only stayed for two nights! Never again.

This was a cross between a Riad and a luxury hotel in all the right ways. You got that traditional feel of Morocco but with the 5 star luxury experience. Everyone described it as an oasis and they are spot on. It’s amazing to see this little retreat in the middle of the chaos. That said, the hotel is within the walls of the “old town” and very different to the newer area of Hirvenage - which is where we ended up walking to for dinner most nights. Hirvenage was like the vegas of Marrakech. Whereas Les Jardin de la Medina is the old world feel. Both amazing in their own right. And although the hotel was wonderful - I am not faulting that, I found it in a quiet but slightly uncomfortable bit of town where there is a lot of rubble on side roads. We had an unfortunate encounter where a drunk local started picking up glass bottles from a nearby skip and throwing them at us. No reflection of the hotel, just be mindful when around the area. That hiccup aside, I would recommend. The staff were lovely and you do truly feel relaxed.

A nice calm hotel that is clean with spacious rooms. Found the checking in experience quite pleasant, friendly staff and welcoming. It was pleasant experience overall; going to the rooms via the hallway can feel like a maze and the in-house spa service, I cannot fault. PRO’s -Room service 24/7 (limited food options after 11pm) -The daily cleaning staff for the rooms were great and the general upkeep of the hotel looked clean and tidy -Walking distance to convenience shops -Every time we needed a taxi the staff at the front were able to get us one, in a timely manner -Cash machine in the lobby of the hotel CON’s -The furniture in the room is quite dated and doesn’t match a 5 star experience. -Really found it annoying that the middle of the curtains didn’t align easily, letting light in. -I slept in a room that had wall greenery outside the balcony and I assumed the birds were nesting there as the tweets became annoying. -Not too sure about their air con system; although it worked it didn’t feel like it was blowing out cool air. -I think the hotel should allow food delivery companies to deliver to guest. This hotel seems to have a rule of no outside food.

Kateringnya betul, tetapi sesetengah restoran hotel ditutup kerana Covid. Ejen-ejen di penerimaan tetamu, katering, SPA dan kolam renang penuh perhatian dan sangat responsif. Sayang sekali tiada kemungkinan pemindahan dari lapangan terbang yang sangat bagus apabila anda mendarat pada jam 11:50 malam. Akhirnya, penginapan ini berjalan lancar walaupun terdapat beberapa penambahbaikan yang perlu dibuat dan rasa perincian yang perlu dibangunkan. Terima kasih atas penginapan ini.

Cannot say enough how much we loved staying here. Mustafa was an impeccable host from the very start. Our flight was delayed 2 hours which meant we didn't arrive at the hotel until after 2am but we were warmly welcomed and shown to our rooms. We travelled with our 17yo son and he had his own twin room on the ground floor and we had a deluxe double across from him. The beds were firm but not uncomfortable. The air-conditioning was a blessing as it was one if the warmest summers they'd had. The plunge pool was perfectly cool and refreshing. The jacuzzi was a bonus on the rooftop terrace. Breakfast was amazing and super filling with a different bread/pancake every morning with fresh juice and coffee. Our riad was only a short walk to the souks and the hustle and bustle of the town and we felt very safe. It is worth noting that Mustafa can organise any day trip or excursion and is very helpful offering advice on what to expect to pay when shopping. 100% recommend staying here as a couple, family or just with friends. Can't forget to mention Max the cat! We wanted to bring him home with us. Thank you all at the Riad La Pprte Rouge for an unforgettable holiday!

Lovely small riad with a stunning terrace where we had breakfast and dinner. Staff are amazing and could not do enough to help us enjoy our stay. Special thanks to Joseph (hope spelt right) Breakfast provided plenty of variety (if anything too much food!!) and was great quality Options changed each day so there was opportunity to try many different local dishes Area very quiet but easily accessible to the centre We arranged a number of taxi rides through the riad and drivers always arrived in advance Would definitely recommend as a place to stay and would return on next visit

We had the good fortune to book into Riad Daria for our first trip to Marrakech in May having looked at many of the different options to stay in the Medina. We were very pleased with our choice. Right from our pickup at the airport through to our departure two days later everything pretty much worked as expected. The raid is an oasis of calm in the city a great base from which to explore the city. Our room (one of the smallest) was perfect for us. The staff and the service were excellent throughout. I had mailed ahead to explain my need for gluten free food and Jen-Christophe was very helpful (it is true that majority of the fantastic moroccan breads and pastries were out of bounds to me but I am getting used to that ☹️.) and it was nice to talk to him about the Riad during our stay. We had two excellent meals in the Eclipse restaurant on the rooftop and also greatly enjoyed our Hammam! Who would have thought that a very hot bathing experience would be so enjoyable on a really hot day! Overall, we could not have made a better choice and are looking forward to returning next year!

Our staying in this riad was absolutely perfect. The staff is great and makes you feel like home, always there for you to solve any doubt (and not only in place, they are also very responsive on Booking/WhatsApp, which was absolutely crucial to our trip, since we went 2 days after the earthquake) or to give you some tips to your trip. We couldn't ask for a better place to chill, very close to the main points of the city so you can rest a bit during the hottest hours (we highly recommend the rooftop pool for this) and then go back to discover a bit more. The best tip we can give you is to have lunch/dinner in the riad, trust us! We had dinner there 1 night and can guarantee you that it was the most delicious meal we had during our 4 days in Marrakech. Not to mention the amazing breakfast we had every morning! It was our first time in Marrakech and all I can say is that it will not be the last and this riad is one of the reasons why we say that. We recommend it so much that our only fear is they are fully booked the next time we will be there.
