This was a cross between a Riad and a luxury hotel in all the right ways. You got that traditional feel of Morocco but with the 5 star luxury experience. Everyone described it as an oasis and they are spot on. It’s amazing to see this little retreat in the middle of the chaos. That said, the hotel is within the walls of the “old town” and very different to the newer area of Hirvenage - which is where we ended up walking to for dinner most nights. Hirvenage was like the vegas of Marrakech. Whereas Les Jardin de la Medina is the old world feel. Both amazing in their own right. And although the hotel was wonderful - I am not faulting that, I found it in a quiet but slightly uncomfortable bit of town where there is a lot of rubble on side roads. We had an unfortunate encounter where a drunk local started picking up glass bottles from a nearby skip and throwing them at us. No reflection of the hotel, just be mindful when around the area. That hiccup aside, I would recommend. The staff were lovely and you do truly feel relaxed.

Si attraversa la strada e si entra nel Mellah, il quartiere ebraico. Molto pulito, in una via laterale che lo rende molto silenzioso, malgrado a pochi metri il traffico di Marrakech regni sovrano. Palais Bahia e le Tombe Saadiane a pochi metri. La ns camera era all'ultimo piano (camera Viola), molto grande ed ottima per 3 persone, bagno grande e terrazza da vivere, a pochi metri dalle cicogne di Palais Badi. Buona colazione, wifi ottimo, molte info da parte dei simpaticissimi ed altissimi Hassan e Zakaria.

We stayed 5 days in March of 2023 at this riad which was a rebooking from 2020. The staff remembered us and were so engaging from the first email, to the first meeting in person and then until we left. I felt so special, taken care of and appreciated. I would not want to go anywhere else in Marrakesh. The location in the medina is great as it's easy access to the street for cars (and luggage), there is plenty of space to sit, read and relax by the pool. We used the pool daily (very nice). The rooftop is perfect for a drink and the food is excellent. Breakfast was wonderful, and the foods were made to order and they tasted it! The room was nicely decorated. The bathroom is a nice size. Would recommend anyone to stay here. The staff make this beautiful riad truly memorable.

Pour notre 4 ème fois à Marrakech nous avons choisi un riad. Très bien situé accès facile pour se rendre sur la place. Djamila, Sana et Nourridine le personnel sont adorables serviables. Le riad est plutôt sympa au calme. Juste un bémol pour notre chambre (Tween) qui fut loin de ressembler aux photos un peu vétuste. Quand au toit terrasse c est pas tjrs clean.. Par contre nous avons testé le couscous au riad et c est top et très copieux. Nous avons aussi rencontré Le Boss Mr Jacques qui est aussi très accueillant simple et disponible. Merci encore à toys surtout avec les péripéties sur nous avons subi (vol à l'arraché papier cb cash)

My wife and I recently visited Marrakech. We had a wonderful sojourn there, not only because it is a great city, with many places that we thoroughly enjoyed visiting (Djemaa el-Fnaa, the Bahia Palace, Medersa Ben Youssef, the Saadian Tombs, and the Jardin Majorelle were our favourites), but also because we had a great place to stay at while we were in the city for six nights – the Riad Maison Arabo-Andalouse. The Riad, housed in a building dating from the 17th century, is designed and furnished in the traditional Moroccan style, and is strategically located, very close to the Djemaa el-Fnaa, the Bahia Palace, the Medina, the Saadian Tombs, and Marrakech’s famous souks. We had a very comfortable stay ... we had a spacious suite, with a lovely large bathroom. But most importantly, the owners of the Riad, G. Paolo and Kader, and their staff (Mohamed, Younes and Fatima) were very welcoming, hospitable, and helpful. Breakfast was served as early as 7 AM, when we requested it. The freshly squeezed orange juice, and the freshly brewed coffee, were both superb. We also had afternoon tea – on request -- by the wading pool in the lovely inner courtyard, and on the terrace. G. Paolo and Kader made the time to chat with us every day, and gave us lots of helpful advice on places to visit, restaurants, commuting within the city, and even where to get a haircut in Marrakech. They also helped with taxi bookings when we needed them. Mohamed organized for us at short notice to go on a day trip to the lovely historic city of Essaouira on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, on the Supratours Confort Plus bus, and organized a taxi drop off and pick up at the bus station. We felt like we had become good friends by the time our stay came to an end. All in all, we had a most enjoyable stay at the Riad Maison Arabo-Andalouse. Merci beaucoup, G. It is very hard not to like this place and its charming hosts. First, this Riad is located in the kasbah, which is the old city of Marrakech. You will get picked up by a driver and he will drop you off on the main artery. The host of the Riad will pick you up and walk you through a labyrinth of old cobble-streets that are not wider than your hallway at home. Once you get through them .. several left turns and a couple of right turns you will land on an undescript front door. Don't be fooled, get ready to be completely enchanted by the decor, the details, the colours, the smells - you will step into a time machine that will take you back to an epoc where time stood still. The rooms are unique, each one with its theme and colours. The room I stayed at was spacious with ample room to move around. The bed was a queen size with an enchanting entrance into a marvellously decorated bathroom in a terra-cotta colour. The water pressure on the shower was strong and the hot water was instantaneous. The morning breakfast is prepared by a kind lady, but she arrives after 8am. The breakfast is very light ... don't expect a hearty meal. The hosts are always there, to answer questions and to engage in discussion of all kinds. Sitting in the Riad by the inground pool is a delight. The sunshine seeps through the top comings to give you just enough ambiance to put the setting in place. They all speak several languages, so they can accommodate you very well. Having lunch and dinner, I strongly suggest you roam around the streets and sit in any of the local cafés to have a meal. You will be pleasantly surprised at the quality. The name of the property is Massai, the host said it was because of the owner's belief the Riad was home to people from the Massai tribe. In fact, this is an old Jewish property, as the symbols on the wall are clearly pointing to that. Go up the stairs and onto the terrasse to appreciate a view of the top of the city... There is no TVs and no phones ... but this place will be memorable for many years to come
