Our stay at the Akabar was very disappointing, and in our opinion the hotel needs a complete overhaul. For instance, we found the following in need of attention. The reception is not updated we were told on arrival we had no reservation, this was because the main administration was not in sync with the desk. There was no hot water in the bathroom for our weeks stay, even though the engineers came and inspected and told us to the contrary. The extractor fan was not working. Shower head was falling off the wall. Toilet roll holder was broken. The W/C syphon stuck from time to time. Bed side light was not working. There was only one english speaking program on the TV and that was CNN news, and even that went off eventually. Phone did not work for the duration of the stay. The Restaurant breakfast had nothing warm except coffee or tea all food was cold. The steak ordered in the evening was not fit for shoe leather and had to be sent back. After the first two days of settling in we decided to eat out just up the road, it was far superior and of equal pricing. The Akabar Hotel should be re-rated, in fact down rated to something less than the THREE star it holds, it was a real disappointment.

El Riad es muy bonito y está muy bien ubicado, cerca de la Medina. Por otro lado, el desayuno ha sido muy bueno todos los días y el personal nos ha atendido genial. Redwan ha sido un excelente anfitrión, nos ha facilitado nombres y explicaciones acerca de qué visitar en Marrakech. Ha tenido el detalle de regalarnos unos pasteles por un cumpleaños, y además ha estado dispuesto a prepararnos el desayuno lo más pronto posible a la hora en la que se debe servir. En resumen, el anfitrión es encantador y el lugar es muy bonito. Volveríamos encantados a este riad.

Simple but very pleasant hotel with wonderfully accommodating staff. Our room was small but scrupulously clean and very quiet at.night. Breakfasts were tasty and served at our convenience. Location was perfect being literally 2.mins from the medina. Don't expect any frills but for value for.money and good service this is hard to beat.

From the moment that we arrived the staff were really friendly. The location is great for all major attractions and shops. One thing that we really liked was the incredible decor, beautiful Moroccan art everywhere even on the ceilings. Highly recommend this little gem. We were a bit less keen to get in the pool as it was a bit cloudy, so I wouldn’t book this if a pool is essential to you but other than that perfect.

Booking Number: 855802 We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Amani Suites SPA Hotel. The members of staff were friend and cheerful and helped us with directions to the Coach/Bus station to get to Agadir. The facility had lovely decore throughout it and the indoor pool room was beautiful and peaceful and we didn't feel that uncomfortable that you'd receive if you were in an outdoor pool with all rooms facing the pool ( the all eyes on you feeling ). The breakfast was nice with freshly squeezed orange juice but could stand to have a little of a verity range option. The restaurant food was nice too and the Amani actually has 2 restaurants, one on the ground floor and the other on the 5th floor. We enjoyed their milkshakes and smoothies as they were quite refreshing and tasty. The room layouts were nice enough and their wash products had lovely scents, the only thing is that the hot and cold taps were on the wrong tap sides and the fridges weren't all that cold to chill the drinks that you put in it.

Nada aconsejable. De hecho lo que recomiendo es no ir. La habitación se anuncia con aire acondicionado pero cuando vas resulta que no funciona y tienes un ventilador para 4 personas en una habitación de 30m2. Nos tuvimos que enfadar para que nos trajeran otro ventilador. Lo mismo con las toallas y productos de aseo que ni los vimos. No se cumplía ninguna condición de las anunciadas, ni siquiera la cercanía a la Plaza que estaba a 40 minutos caminando. Pero lo peor de todo es lo viejo que está todo, la suciedad y falta de higiene que había. Todos los días teníamos que pelear con las cucarachas del cuarto de baño. Condiciones insalubres. A otro húesped del hotel le ocurrió lo mismo, en su caso los inquilinos de la habitación le corrieron por encima mientras estaba en la cama. También indicar que la WIFI va cuando ellos quieren y la que ellos quieren. A esto sumar que el dueño no habla español, con lo que el poder comunicarnos con él era casi imposible. A la segunda noche de vivir en un infierno, y tras una fuerte discusión que incluso amenazamos con llamar a la policía, tuvimos que buscarnos otro Riad donde alojarnos y ahí ha sido cuando hemos podido disfrutar de nuestras vacaciones. Todo cambió. El Riad al que nos fuimos se llama Zaki y afortunadamente era todo lo contrario, trato, limpieza y servicio inmejorable, y mucho más cerca del centro.

L'hôtel est parfaitement bien situé à Guéliz, beaucoup de restaurants, beaucoup d'instituts de bien-être et tout ça à pied ! Le personnel est vraiment au petit soin. Tout le monde, sans exception, était adorable, prêt à rendre service ! Vraiment, allez-y les yeux fermés.
