Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights at the Hotel and Ryads Barriérre Le Naoura and had a wonderful time. We were personally greeted by the manager Hicham Halquani. He warmly welcomed us and surprised us with an unforgettable upgrade! The rooms were very spacious with fresh flowers, bottles of water, and fruit provided. The closets were very large and provided ample room for our clothes. The sizeable bathrooms had both a shower and bathtub. The terrace overlooked the pool and was quite roomy. The oversized pool and lounge chairs were quite refreshing as it was over 100℉ each day. We had breakfast each day and the food was amazing! Omelets were made to order, there was a wide range of fruits, pastries, breads, cereals, yogurts, fresh-squeezed orange juice, coffee, and of course-mint tea! The location is ideal on a quieter street a few minutes walk to the main square Jemaa el-Fnaa where the you eat and shop in the fouks around the square. The staff made our stay very special and made sure we were always comfortable. The concierge Amine was always available and had answers to any of our questions. We would love to come again to Marrakech and stay at Le Barriére again and would recommend this hotel to friends and family. We can as strangers and left as family. Because of the world class hospitality at the Barriere Le Naoura, Marrakech will always have a special place in our hearts!

Fantastic weekend away in Marrakech in a perfect authentic Riad within the Medina. We booked through easyJet holidays and this included a lovely breakfast. Breads, jams, yogurt, traditional beber omelette which is egg & tomato based. Coffee and fresh orange juice. This is a beautiful small traditional Riad tuck away down an alleyway. Not the easiest to find on your first visit but the taxi driver guided us. They also picked us up from the Riad. I was a little nervous after reading reviews about not finding the hotel but honestly it was fine. We arrived late at night and the staff let us eat in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble. We travelled with friends so had two rooms, our friends had the koutobia which was amazing, large bed, two showers & even a little upstairs. It had double doors onto the courtyard with the small swimming pool. Our room was upstairs from the fountain courtyard, again another lovely traditional room. We booked a private tour guide for the morning after arrival through the hotel so this would help us find our way around for the next few days. This was fantastic as we went to places we would never have found and he also gave us points to look for so we could find our way back to the hotel easily. We also booked a massage within the hotel. OMG it was amazing and definitely recommend. The roof terrace is an amazing place to relax and also see the hot air balloons in the mornings. If we had more time this would have been a trip to try. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Todo muy bien, nos ha gustado mucho, el RIAD es nuevo, y recomendamos el RIAD. Es muy tranquilo, esta muy bien decorado, muy bonito todo. Y esta bastante cerca de la medina. Es un poco difícil encontrarlo, pero la ubicación de google es exacta. Si pillas un taxi, te deja el taxi a unos 300 metros, tiras por una calle peatonal paralela a la muralla, y luego una calle estrecha a la izquierda donde hay una puerta de madera al final, y listo, llegas rápido.

Get the transport from the airport. It’s affordable and we wouldn’t have found it without the taxi service. The smell when we walked in made us realise this is an oasis in Marrakech - so wonderful. Relaxing compared to outside. Aimed was fantastic. In fact all of the staff team worked so hard and made our stay so pleasant. Not much English spoken but a few French words go a long way. Food was great. We ate here for the full menu on the first night. Saved us from the stress of going out late in the evening when we arrived. Many wonderful spaces here. Courtyard, beautiful. Pool, one of a kind. Terrace, fantastic. So peaceful and quiet. Room was great. We were downstairs in the corner. Cleaned so thoroughly every time. No complaints. About a 20 minute walk to the main Medina. I saw a couple of reviews complaining about the fumes on the road? Welcome to Marrakech! If you don’t want exhausts and motorbikes, stay in a resort. It didn’t bother us and was part of the experience. The Riad is not on a main road. Taxis just outside the wall if you need them which is convenient. Marjorelle / YSL gardens only 10 min walk. A word of advice: cut in half any price given to you. This goes for taxis and items from shops without a label. Everything is marked up at a tourist price, you negotiate it down. Thank you for an amazing stay! We will come back.

Nous avons été tres bien accueilli à la riad avec un délicieux thé Le transfert à l'aéroport était parfait Khalil notre rayon de soleil et bienveillant toujours le sourire que ce soit le matin laprem et le soir toujours un mot gentil pour nous faire passer une exelente journée Mouna et halima les fées du logis d'une grande gentillesse Le Petit djeuner etait à tombé par terre c'était un régal Le riad est très jolie cocounigue on se sent bien .Le bassin était frais mais une petite baignade fesait un grand bien . La riad est bien située pour visiter Bad et Luc merci por votre accueil nous avons passé un exelent séjour nous avons hâte de revenir l'année prochaine Riad accueillant et chaleureux ne changé rien

Nous avons passé une dizaine de jours dans ce riad en décembre dernier et avons beaucoup apprécié cet endroit, mais ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus mémorable c’est l’accueil qui nous a été réservé, en particulier grâce à Soad et Taha. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, très copieux et fait maison. Nous recommandons chaleureusement ce riad. Merci à toute l’équipe !

El Riad es muy bonito y está muy bien ubicado, cerca de la Medina. Por otro lado, el desayuno ha sido muy bueno todos los días y el personal nos ha atendido genial. Redwan ha sido un excelente anfitrión, nos ha facilitado nombres y explicaciones acerca de qué visitar en Marrakech. Ha tenido el detalle de regalarnos unos pasteles por un cumpleaños, y además ha estado dispuesto a prepararnos el desayuno lo más pronto posible a la hora en la que se debe servir. En resumen, el anfitrión es encantador y el lugar es muy bonito. Volveríamos encantados a este riad.

Nada aconsejable. De hecho lo que recomiendo es no ir. La habitación se anuncia con aire acondicionado pero cuando vas resulta que no funciona y tienes un ventilador para 4 personas en una habitación de 30m2. Nos tuvimos que enfadar para que nos trajeran otro ventilador. Lo mismo con las toallas y productos de aseo que ni los vimos. No se cumplía ninguna condición de las anunciadas, ni siquiera la cercanía a la Plaza que estaba a 40 minutos caminando. Pero lo peor de todo es lo viejo que está todo, la suciedad y falta de higiene que había. Todos los días teníamos que pelear con las cucarachas del cuarto de baño. Condiciones insalubres. A otro húesped del hotel le ocurrió lo mismo, en su caso los inquilinos de la habitación le corrieron por encima mientras estaba en la cama. También indicar que la WIFI va cuando ellos quieren y la que ellos quieren. A esto sumar que el dueño no habla español, con lo que el poder comunicarnos con él era casi imposible. A la segunda noche de vivir en un infierno, y tras una fuerte discusión que incluso amenazamos con llamar a la policía, tuvimos que buscarnos otro Riad donde alojarnos y ahí ha sido cuando hemos podido disfrutar de nuestras vacaciones. Todo cambió. El Riad al que nos fuimos se llama Zaki y afortunadamente era todo lo contrario, trato, limpieza y servicio inmejorable, y mucho más cerca del centro.
