Stayed here for rugby World Cup last week and disappointed for the price. Stayed 4 days and on the first day reported that a curtain was missing from my room meaning not only could anyone passing by see into my room but the lights from the stadium and the restaurant opposite were blazing straight into my bed resulting in zero sleep. This wasn’t remedied until day 3. Also the shower cubicle leaked everywhere meaning the floor was dangerously slippery and had to be lined with towels before taking a shower. Breakfast didn’t cater for international tastes the way other chains do, it was purely French and not labelled so you were unsure if you were choosing yogurt, soft cheese or cream. Prices were very high €10 for a beer. Positives are it is very close to the stadium and the metro which is good. Staff very friendly, particularly the bar staff

I was extremely disappointed in this AC Marriott (compared to the AC Marriott in Riga that I stayed in last Oct). The staff is friendly and helpful but the hotel itself is sorely lacking. The carpets outside the room and elevators were dirty, breakfast was mediocre, the AC in the room didn't work, room only had instant coffee (in France!) rather than french press/coffee machine/nespresso, and the gym was pathetic. I'm particularly upset about the gym because that's the amenity I care about the most, and the reason why I opted for this Marriott.The gym is in a container-like shack and bore no resemblance to the gym in the hotel photos. TV didn't work. Meager equipment; 1 self-powered treadmill, 1 leg-powered and arm-powered bike each. The pedal on the leg-powered bike fell off 40 mins into my workout. After trying to attach it in vain, I took it to the front desk. It took 36 hours for someone to install the pedal back on the bike, only for it to fall off again the next time I used the bike. The pedal was missing a nut to hold it in place and the thread on the attaching screw was worn. I am planning on checking out early to find a better hotel to stay in for the rest of my M****ille trip

We just stayed here last week. Props for the bunk beds which was helpful with family travel, but overall I found the hotel to be dirty. The hallway outside our room had crumbs everywhere and didn't look like it had been vacuumed in a while. The shower in our room wasn't as clean as I'd like. A tile outside our toilet room was loose and there was random water (?) behind the toilet long after room service had been there. While the property appears to be new, it is not in great condition and not as clean as it should be.

The Marriott hotel is just next to the large Velodrome stadium, around 4 miles inland from the seaside area of central M****illes. It feels less of a business hotel than many Marriotts, with a small swimming pool and terrace seating area at the back of the hotel. There is a small shopping mall just three minutes walk from the hotel, which is useful if you need to buy something or want a coffee etc. This is not an ideal location for regular sightseeing, but may be useful if you are driving and don’t want to get caught up in city centre traffic. I had a three night stay here in August 2022 (room 901). The room was fine, with a comfortable bed, desk area, a good shower and a Nespresso machine. There were sufficient spare power sockets to recharge the various devices that the modern traveller needs. WiFi was extremely fast, which I measured at 87 Mbps download and 92 Mbps upload, ample for any online needs. Staff were friendly but be aware that there is no concierge at the hotel, and on a couple of occasions I asked for some help with restaurants reservation confirmations I didn’t hear back from the reception staff. It is a decent hotel but rather less good than a lot of Marriotts that I have stayed at.
