Birmingham NEC/Airport

I thought it was closer to airport. I took a taxi. Yes possible to work but ... But waling distance to Nec. That yes. It is true. Food was good. I did not expect but really a ok restaurant. Service excellence Room really ok. Next time I probably.could walk from airport now that I know where it is Through a park you can reach nec

1. Told by staff no space and turn away. After been send away from desk I booked room online whiting seconds. 2. Booked table for Evening food. Awaiting time for food 1h 3. Surprisngly very loud noise created by steps - waking guest in room above mine room201. 4. Evening crew was definitely too short of staff - managment alleged this is full crew just full hotel make challenge for them to service. Generally I always trying use Premier Inn for travel instead of Holiday Inn. But in NEC Birmingham I do recommend to go to Holiday Inn.

Restaurant was being refurbished and I didn’t see that on the website . I was on foot and it’s 20 plus mins to NEC. I had chosen Premier Plus but the room had really bad Wi-Fi cover the Ultimate Wi-Fi which come# with plus didn’t work , phone reception was poor, air on rattled badly …toilet not flushed properly. Bed not properly made. I left after 1 night booked for 2. Premier Inn are usually a safe bet.. this was a let down,, Only plus was reception staff were excellent friendly and professional. Web communication and room were the let down. I knew that it hadn’t specified that the restaurant wasn’t open when I booked because I looked for it , not my first booking ever!

Perfect place to stop over for one night. The room was comfortable and clean, check in was easy and they even provided some breakfast to takeaway whilst the restaurant is being refurbished. The only downside, poor wifi.

I don't often get a break and time to relax. This was a complete waste of my time, had to order food and drinks to be delivered due to the location and we didnt drive to Birmingham. Will not stay again, bites on our bodies, cleaner trying to enter our room. Restaurant and bar were shut. Moths in the coffee machine and this did not get resolved when I approached the staff.

When we went to check-in early, a hotel worker told us that this did not exist and that we could not enter the room until 3pm in the afternoon. We told her that we could stay there sitting or at the bar having a drink. coffee and told us to leave because the bar was closed. but the tables were at the reception, we just wanted to sit down after a long trip and he told us to leave and come back at 3pm. A disappointing deal for people who have been traveling for more than 12 hours. Regrettable, not recommended

Stayed one night for an event in the NEC. Friendly helpful welcome, spacious room, gorgeous bed, so comfy! The restaurant opened for the first time since a refurb' and it looks fab. The cooked breakfast and choice was plentiful. The staff were all so lovely and on what was probably a stressful morning being their opening morning, they were smiling, helpful and chatty. Both managers introduced themselves as Jay and Dec and made us so welcome - would definitely return if back at the NEC! A taxi to NEC cost approx £8 and takes 5 mins. Warning re postcode! It will take you to the holiday inn express. If u see holiday inn express don't go through the barrier as the premier inn isn't thro there! Use Google maps!
