My sister and I arrived early evening after a stressful full day’s drive, to find a delightful home just off the main highway. It had a beautiful little garden and welcoming Christmas lights. A wonderful happy vibe. We were allocated the Opal room which had two large beds in it… a queen and a king. The room made us smile from the moment we arrived. Filled with colourful rugs, pictures and lamps, etc. A homey, happy feel and a lot of attention to detail. Everything we could possibly want in the way including delicious filtered rainwater, coffee, milk and a mini kitchenette area to heat any food we had brought with us. A nice bathroom and everything was SO clean! The beds had memory foam toppers and were a dream to sleep on. Best value. Helene is a delightful host and goes out of her way to welcome you. If you want to escape a sterile hotel room and stay in a loved, and happy private accomodation, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended for a feel good getaway.

Helene, our hostess could not have been more helpful in helping us settle in and in providing advice on how to make the most of our visit to Maryborough. She even drove us (at no cost) to the pub she said provided an excellent meal. It did. Although small, the room was all we needed, was clean and well provisioned. We didn't have our own vehicle, so for us it was a little far from the town centre. Other than that it was an ideal spot from which to explore Maryborough, which is well worth a visit.

I had a lovely stay. The owner Helene was very accommodating to my needs whilst travelling with my two dogs. I used two different rooms both had everything I needed from towels to cutlery and other bathroom essentials. The yard was lovely and well maintained with secure fencing to keep my dogs safe.

We booked into the Rainforest Resort for 5 days but ending up staying 14 days, waiting for out house to be built. Due to delays. Helene was a magnificent host who was extremely accommodating and helpful. Helene was so nice with our predicament and could not be more sympathetic to our needs and extended the accommodation on neatly a daily basis, even though there were new occupants arriving. I could not say a bad word against Helene and would have no hesitation to recommend this accommodation or stay stay again myself.

The room was nicely appointed and decorated. It was clean and functional. The hostess was very helpful and friendly. However as the aircon or fan were not coping the room was hot and stuffy so we didn't have a good night's sleep. There is some noise from the nearby main road and when someone sneezed we realised the next room was very close with a very thin wall. We started whispering. Also we couldn't get much hot water from the shower. The rainforest garden is cool and sheltering but we didn't have time to enjoy it much as it was just an overnight stay.
