Hotel Matsue dengan Bar

We stayed at the New Urban Hotel for 2 weeks in October while my husband was in Matsue for business. It is a lovely hotel in an excellent location in the city. I can’t say enough positive comments about the staff, and especially would like to mention Keiko Ueda. She goes above and beyond in making guests feel welcome and she is so helpful. Her English is very good and she repeatedly asked for feedback, did we need anything, was there anything in particular we wanted or wanted to do. All of the other staff are just as helpful, albeit many don’t speak English…however with the help of Google Translate, we had no difficulty. In staying there for 2 weeks, we were a familiar face and we’re always greeted warmly whenever we were in the lobby area. The location is excellent, about a 10 minute walk to Matsue Castle, about 15 minute walk to the Kyomise shopping district, and about 25 minute walk to the JR Matsue Transit Station, which has a wonderful Visitors Center with English speaking staff.. The hotel is directly across from Lake Shinji, and our room faced the lake providing lovely views. There is a walking path along the lake that is very nice and it is a short walk to Sunset Park to view the famous sunsets. Since my husband was working during the days, I was on my own to explore. I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe walking around this beautiful city. The city’s population is about 200K, and Matsue is known for still being “authentic Japan.” There is an on-site onsen at the hotel, which is very nice. There are separate baths for males and females and the hours are quite convenient. The lobby of the hotel has a section of travel amenities that are free to quests. Additionally, the hotel stocks a number of other items for borrowing that you might need, such as iron and ironing board. There is a laundry facility and a convenience store attached to the hotel. My only negative comment would be that the on-site buffet at the restaurant is the same for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But there are many wonderful restaurants in Matsue if you need more variety. If your travels find you going to Matsue, consider staying at the New Urban Hotel, you won’t be disappointed with the everything the hotel offers as well as the location.

Comfortable modern hotel by Shinji Lake on the edge of Matsue. We were lucky enough to have rooms that faced the lake, with a wonderful view and the ability to watch the local clam fishers every morning. The hotel is adjacent to the Matsue Shinjiko Onsen station, providing easy access to Izumo-Taisha Temple - which is a must see. It's a fair walk to other parts of Matsue, though. The hotel restaurant provides a dinner buffet, which is OK but is more like a canteen.

素泊まりで宿泊しました。駐車場が目の前にあるので便利です。 チェックインは機械で行いますが、必要な時はフロントスタッフが手伝ってくれます。 部屋はコンパクトですが必要十分です。古さは見られますが全然気になりません。 一番期待していた温泉大浴場は、客の少ないタイミングでゆっくり浸かれました。宍道湖と大橋の様子を風呂に入りながら眺めることができ、気持ちよかったです。風呂上りもポカポカが続きました。 価格に対してとても満足できました。機会があればまた宿泊します。

初の島根旅行で2泊しました。松江しんじ湖温泉の駅についた時、駅から遠くに見えるこの宿の外観は若干古く。手前にあるホテル白鳥やホテル一畑が、あまりに新しいせいで、正直、ちょっとがっかり。でもスタッフの方は皆さんとても親切でフレンドリーで、今回宿泊した部屋は改装されてまもない露天風呂付きのお部屋。また食事も食べきれないぐらいに色々な種類のおかず。デザートのフルーツはたべられない！と言ったら、お部屋にお持ちいただいてお召し上がりいただいても大丈夫ですよと言って下さり。大浴場も広く、とても気持ちよかったです。松江しんじ湖温泉駅からの距離もどこかで徒歩7分とありましたが、徒歩5分かかるかかからないかぐらいで便利です。最初の印象は全く逆の物になり、とても素敵な滞在になりました。またぜひ泊まりたい宿です。

This Ryokan is just great, so glad we stayed here. First colloquial English is spoken by the owners, and they willing answer email questions in advance. They also accept luggage forwarded by Yamato transport. You can book direct if you want. Second, the location is excellent, you can walk to most major sights in Matsue in 15 mins or less. The pedestrian shopping street starts only 2 blocks away and there are lots of restaurants nearby. If you get a room with a view of the river and the lake, you wan't regret it, very beautiful. In terms of food , this Ryokan is flexible and will serve you a western breakfast with a few Japanese sides, rather than a full Japanese style breakfast if you must request this in advance. We had an excellent dinner of local specialties our last night , a delicious end to our stay in Japan. This Ryokan is quite small, so if your stay coincides with some special happening in Matsue like the Warrior Parade, book far in advance. Our room was large, extremely comfortable, well designed, and we were vey happy with it. If you can afford one of the 3 rooms with its own volcanic springs hot tub it's worth it. However the steam baths in the basement were clean, and comfortable. we went every day. The only problem this hotel has is also a city wide problem, there are not enough taxis, especially during rush hour. However, the public bus stop is only 1/2 a block away to take you to the train station.

我們2023年12月6日晚上入住，之後出門吃宵夜，兩位前台老爺爺的服務非常非常好，耐心地給我們指路，約車和留夜門。最後因為第二天我們住別家，但一大早出發去玩了，所以行李寄存在了這家酒店，晚上回來非常晚，直接去了另外預訂的入住酒店，因為約了第二家酒店的晚餐時間。老爺爺竟然幫我們把行李送到了這家新入住的酒店，我們三間房的行李有五件，真的太感謝了，讓我們也沒有錯過後麪這家酒店預約入住酒店的餐食和活動。真的萬分感激，感受到了日本的服務精神。但並不是所有入住酒店都有這個感受，所以特此來點評這一條。謝謝當班的老爺爺們！

河原のステージで近くの大きな旅館の女将さんが主体のステージを8/31まで限定でやってるみたいで、観られたのもよかったです。 夕食なし朝食付きのプランでしたが，朝食ビュッフェでディスポーザル手袋が入り口でスタッフさん管理のもののみなため　料理を取りに行くたびに　使用済みのビニール手袋を再使用していて　感染予防にならないのではと　心配になりました。料理は　明太子が乾いてみえた　以外は　おおむね満足です。 お風呂、湯質が良いのか　すごく柔らかいお湯って感じられました。 狭めのお風呂で　窓がないので　換気ができないのではないかなあって心配になったのが　ちょっとマイナスかなぁ。 帰りに　島根県からのお土産　純米吟醸酒とお米を　人数分は　予期せぬことでで　嬉しかったです^ ^

漁港のすぐ前にある旅館です。小さな集落という感じで、集落全体が見渡せるぐらいの規模感ながら、いくつかの旅館が並んでいます。 青畳の路地があり、この地の観光名所の一つ。歴史ある建物が建ち並ぶ風情のある通りです。 建物は、手入れが行き届き、木材を適所に使用された居心地の良い空間です。部屋もきれいで、オーシャンビューというか、港ビューというか、とてもきれいな景色が楽しめます。海の向こうには米子の街並みと大山が見えます。 お食事もかなり頑張っているようで、見た目に豪華な鯛のお頭の煮物がありました。お刺身も良いですね。 朝食は、かなり美味しく、おすすめです。朝食会場は、文化財になっている本館で、なかなか他では見ることのできない素敵な建物での一時を楽しむことができます。 おすすめです。

おそらく車で島根県までは一生に一度かなと思います。 1200キロの行程で、神戸、広島と二泊して島根に入りました。 まず、従業員の対応がアットホームで、出すぎず、さりげない暖かさを感じました。 ご承知の通り、群馬県は草津、伊香保、水上、四万などの温泉王国で、何度も宿泊していますが、松の湯のもてなしは別格と感じました。 泉質はさらっとして、四万温泉に似ていました。 二泊したのですが、圧倒されたのは、夕食のおいしさと品数、朝食バイキングは群馬の温泉ではとても太刀打ちできない品数、おいしさでした。駐車場をめぐり若干のトラブルがあったのですが、フロントの対応のよさで、とたんに気持ちが和みました。 とにかく、　久々に満足させていただいた宿です。できればもう一度たずねたい宿です。
