LLj25A truly remarkable stay. We are both kicking ourselves for not staying longer but we will be back for sure. From the shuttle drivers to the restaurant workers to the golf staff, they are a real credit to the company. Kind, helpful, proactive and lovely human beings. For golf lovers, this resort really has it all. Both courses are exceptional and the experience is second to none. You don’t have to worry about a thing as it’s all sorted out for you. The resort itself is second to none with facilities in abundance. The breakfast is a real showstopper. I would recommend booking dinner in advance as we struggled to get into the restaurants due to them being fully booked. Room service was exceptional though. An all round 5 staff experience and we can’t wait to come back

KKev Z.Das Resort sieht fantastisch aus. Überall ist es grün mit viel Natur. Die Pool area bietet einen schönen Sonnenuntergang. Es gibt eine separate Bar für Rum Cocktails, welche hervorragend schmecken. Alles rund herum um die Bar ist ebenfalls darauf abgestimmt - sehr gut!
Es gibt einen bewachten Parkplatz in der Anlage.
Leider war es zu unserer Saison sehr windig. Fast durchgehend kam Wind aus Richtung Osten (Seite des Balkons und des Strandes).
Es gibt ebenfalls zwei Alternative Restaurant in fußläufiger Reichweite, welche wir anstatt des Hotel Restaurant genutzt haben.

The views were breathtaking—every glance out the window felt like a postcard come to life. Its location was ideal, offering both convenience and a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The serene, quiet atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway!

On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome.
The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice.
We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food.
The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for.
Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience:
- Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness
- Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful
- Rooms didn’t feel clean
- Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast
- Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it)
We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.

Boutique, 16+ Hotel located on the east side of the island, on the first line. Great beach with amazing sunrises. Lots of sea activities are included with your stay.
Quiet, spacious rooms. Great spa.
Curated menu in the restaurant and opportunity to book a special dinner with a chef. Great wine and international cocktail selection.
Professionaly trained staff and the management team lead by Mr. Med will make you stay exceptional

SSiddiqAdamThe service at the hotel is 7 stars. Especially the food and beverage department - Deven, Kiran, and Ganesh went out of their way to accommodate our 10 year old Down syndrome boy. Jay for the beach area was also excellent. Manoj and Antish from the front office did their level best to resolve our concerns and address our needs.
But the hotel itself is more like a 4 star. Pool is not heated. The entertainment at night is very boring and lifeless. The kids club is also lifeless and not interactive at all. The personnel just sit and watch your kid. No interaction at all.

小小K宝宝Compare to Lux Belle Mare and Lux Grand Baie, Lux le morne is a disappointment in terms of service level. The structure of the buildings look nostalgic but it’s well maintained. The level of hygiene seems to be high. I love the beach which has the best on the island. But it is a shame they couldn’t utilise this. If you imagine the other two lux hotels I mentioned above are for Waitrose and harrods sippers then this le morne hotel is for Tesco shoppers.
They made mistakes in billing and quality of drinks is mediocre. I can do better at home.

MMarkFabulous hotel. We went AI which was a good call considering there were no bars or restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We stayed in a Beach Bliss junior suite which was large, well equipped with a super comfortable bed. The drinks and food included in the AI package were great with some international spirits. Cocktails were amongst the best we have had. The food options were also top notch with lots of choice and variety. All restaurants including the main buffet were good with our favourite speciality restaurants being Jade (Asian) and Waves (Seafood). The spa was ok and we didn’t try the gym or water sports. The free snorkelling trip, Mauritian cooking class and BBQ night at Waves were all great fun. Special thanks to Geetanjalee for doing a fantastic job keeping our room tidy, Akhilesh for his cocktail making skills and Stephanie for doing a great job hosting the cooking class. All in all a fabulous stay and the only feedback I would give for improvement would be to speed up the check-in process and add some variety to the evening entertainment.

TTarynAn amazing hotel right on the water with every room facing the water. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. Beautiful big rooms with lovely balconies. The dinner and breakfast were also really good, with a great variety and a lovely outdoor area to sit at.
I do however think the cleaning staff need to take a bit more care when cleaning. We were there for 6 nights and 3 of the nights we had to phone housekeeping because we did not have towels, or we did not get toilet paper, or we did not get our bath robes… and then housekeeping took at least 20-30minutes to bring the items.
The other thing was that they put a single duvet into a double duvet - so when you are sleeping there are many times when you only have a sheet and no duvet. Maybe change that.
Otherwise I really can’t complain about anything. There are plenty of beach chairs and there were always chairs available and it was an amazing and relaxing place.
