Marguery Villas - Conciergery & Resort

Every year in June we go to Mauritius with friends and stay at the beloved Marguery villas. The villas are spacious, staff is attentive and cherish their guests! Thanks to Alex and his team for organizing my birthday party for the 3rd time! Everything was prepared with love and care - villa settings inside & outside, beverages, chocolate cake and even balloons!!!! We'll definitely stay at the Marguery villas next time!

Great location, incredibly well equipped villas and fabulous staff what’s not to like?! The pool in the smallest villa is more of a plunge pool but the 14 metre communal pool is never busy and great for a swim at any time of the day. I have been enjoying a swim after sunrise. There is a cute gym with a nice airy feel, bikes you can borrow and a table tennis table under a shaded gazebo. So close to nice shops and eateries. A big supermarket is only 500 metres away. Air on to bedrooms and ceiling fans in seating areas. The team who work here are lovely from the gatemen to the concierge team and the cleaning and gardening staff and of course pool man. Great manager Alex who is full of fun and creates a happy team. I would return in a heartbeat and would happily stay here on my own knowing I could do and get everything I want nearby. To make the most of the area hire a vehicle

Hello! I have stayed here for 4 times now. This is home from home and place for relaxing longer holiday. It is not beach destination, but rather for families, older couples or group of friends who drive to the beach, value privacy, like comfort and are returning to Mauritius. It is better for longer holiday like 10 days and more. There are good restaurants in walking/short driving distance and small scale shopping, but it is better to stay when you have rented the car. Location is not ideal to first time Mauritius discovery (great hopes for new Flic en Flac road). This is gated villa complex with different size houses. There are around 40 of them and some have permanent residents so it looks like small street and not hotel complex. You have security, cleaning and maintenance services plus you can add up services as you wish. All villas have pools according to their size and there is one bigger communal pool too. Villas are all equipped with good kitchens so you can stay within premises (microwave, dishwasher, laundry room, big freezer with ice machine, oven, plates and glasses, vine opener etc.) Usually there are master bedroom with kingsize bed and smaller bedrooms with separate beds. All rooms have separate bathrooms. Every room has AC - new and quiet. All villas have sundeck and covered sitting area. You can open windows and have wonderful inside outside feel in every room. Overall - traveling in hot climate consider sun protection, accurate clothes, bug spray, yes there are ants everywhere, yes birds can be loud in the morning and there are different noises (roosters nearby), fruit bats eating and fighting in date palms in night, sometimes there is rain too or even cyclones. Local beach is 6 out of 10 use Le Morne 20 min drive. Anyway cannot wait to return!!!

This was our 2nd visit to Marguery Villas, as always it never disappoints. This is a 5 star resort for a good reason and we will return because of this. The villas are spotless the team at marguery cannot do enough to make sure you enjoy your stay at the resort. Thank you to Vanesh and Olivier, a special mention to Joycelynne who kept our villa spotlessly clean and Romain who simply went above and beyond to make sure this time was special from arranging our helicopter flight in the north, then on our last night in Mauritius this young man because it was our 10th wedding anniversary arranged a meal at the local pizzeria for us. If any managers are reading this review this young man is a resort manager in the making as he goes above and beyond for all guests. We will be returning.
