Had a very peaceful nights sleep. Rooms well appointed, comfy beds. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful inside, even better than the photos. Restaurant is lovely. It's the kind of place well-to-do folk come for a beautiful evening meal. And where professionals (company directors, airline pilots etc) would stay the night. Location is just superb, right on the beach. Probably works against the hotel in the winter with damp salty wind, but in summer I bet it's glorious. Anyways, think of it as a Travelodge with a view and an amazing restaurant and let the photos do the rest.

Very clean comfortable beds and sofa modern lovely host went at Christmas they put on shows round pool.it was cleaned daily inside and out the only thing we did not like was the paint colour needed toning down to make it more modern it's a sickly bright green god knows who chose that awful colour. Could also do with a few arcade machines instead of having to go into town for something to do like a ****** no idea why 2 stars definitely worth more than that rating.i will be going again

We stayed in the hotel for a week while also attending a wedding. Room was spacious with a super comfortable bed and fluffy pillows. Bathroom and shower was fantastic. We also had a very nice terrace with seats and table. Pool area was lovely, with plenty of sunbeds. There was a really nice beach which could be accessed via the gate at the back of the hotel. Buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety. Also included a chef making omelettes to order, which was a personal favorite. We stayed in a couple of nights in the hotel for the evening entertainment which was a very good standard, and had resulted in lots of folks up dancing which was good fun. What really stood out was the staff and the top class service we were given. A special shout out to Tom who seemed to be everywhere, and was very engaging, welcoming and helpful. All staff in the hotel from the reception, bar, restaurant, housekeeping were so friendly, polite and professional which is a real credit to the hotel. The wedding which we attended at the hotel was excellent and was one of the best I ever attended. It was so well run, food was top class and everybody was looked after extremely well. I would highly recommend the Sheraton as a wedding location. We hope to return to the hotel in the future.

Great hotel, friendly staff, good choice of food for breakfast, only ate there once in the evening and the buffet, although not exceptional, was good and reasonably priced. Good location - an easy walk to the beach or one of the many restaurants (more than I expected in a small town). Yes, there is building work going on on two plots between the hotel and the sea, but if you have a first floor room with a pool view, i.e. with your balcony facing the large inner area where the pool and pool bar are situated, it really is not intrusive. A crane being operated from ground level doesn't make any real noise. Another review mentioned the lack of a plug to be able to use the bath. I guess that may be deliberate to limit water consumption, but that reviewer wasn't particularly resourceful. We asked at reception and they immediately opened a drawer and gave us one, no bother. There is a row of shops including a HiperDino Express supermarket in the same block as the hotel, plus a really good ice cream shop, so it was easy to get supplies of lunch time food, beer, wine etc to consume on the beach or on our balcony to avoid the pool bar prices (although we did use that bar when using the pool). There is also an excellent bakery a few hundred yards away where you can get a good range of sandwiches, quiche, toasties either to take away or eat in. I would also recommend the make-on-demand fruit and vegetable juicing unit in there - lovely healthy blends. Back to the hotel: excellent sunbeds (you could raise not just the back but also two thirds down could be raised to give support when sitting), and there were even a number of full double bed sized units with cushions, for no extra charge, and there was never any pressure on sunbed availability while we were there. Our room was spotless and the maid service was excellent. The only minor quibble we experienced was that the ”double bed” was actually two singles together. Thinking back, maybe I should have checked to see if the castors were lockable, but it did give us a laugh when the beds moved apart and one of nearly went down the middle... perhaps a couple of short bungees to pull the castor wheel units together would have solved that one! Overall, very happy with our stay.

We stayed at Secrets Lanzarote in May 2024 and booked Secrets Fuerteventura as a birthday treat for me in July 2024. I was really looking forward to this hotel but unfortunately it hasn’t lived up to the 5 star expectations I had. Room: junior suite sea view. The view is amazing, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is spacious and offers everything you need. The maids work hard and in general the hotel is kept very clean which is fantastic. However, we, as non smokers, couldn’t sit out on your balcony and enjoy the view as much as our neighbours kept enjoying cigarillos what felt like all the time. The hotel offered us a different room but couldn’t guarantee that there would be no smoke from others again. Smoking: in general I found this hotel off putting for non smokers. As mentioned above, it would be great to have non smoking and smoking rooms to avoid being exposed. When you walk to the main restaurant, you have to walk past the smokers who have their smoking corners outside the restaurant and by the entrances of the pool area. Guests also smoke at the beach and as there’s always a breeze you can’t escape it. Cigarette buds are in the sand due to this. Pool area: there aren’t enough sun loungers so people reserve and don’t tend to use them until late. On the last day of our holiday the hotel suddenly decided to enforce a non reservation rule, too late for us as we have left and we didn’t use the pool due no sun bed availability for several days. The pools itself are freezing and not 24 degrees. They need to be heated as Fuerteventura is a breezy island and it cools down in the evening so the pools will never reach a comfortable temperature unless helped by heat. Everyone I saw in the pool said it’s too cold and it was reported to the pool guy but he can’t do anything about it. Secrets Lanzarote was a bath tub in comparison and I spent a lot time in the pool there. The hotel could also invest in new pool towels, they have seen better days. Food: we only ate at the Buffett, which was great. We tried restaurants in town which were great and reasonable priced. Cocktails: we only tried 2 cocktails from the pool bar and they were very bad. They tasted like they came from a slushy machine, they didn’t as we saw them made in front of us but they weren’t very nice unfortunately. The Cocktails in town for 8€ were amazing. I really wanted to love this hotel and come back again and again but we decided that the price point is far too high for a hotel with freezing pools and sun bed wars.

After reading reviews after booking, I was quite worried about our choice of holiday. We kept an open mind and can honestly say that this holiday was one of our favourites. We hired a car as we like to go on adventures, but we spent a lot more time lying on the pool sunbeds than we expected to. We were self catering so did a shop at Lidl in Correlejo and went out for our evening meals. Our 8 year old loved the waterpark at the hotel and we spent a few hours each day there. The villa had everything we needed and the bed was comfy, we had a 2 bedroom and the addition of the washing machine was really useful. One thing I would say is that even if you are All Inclusive, you would probably still need a car, as it is extremely remote and whilst it is a lovely place to stay, most of the beaches are too far to walk to and there isn't an awful lot to do in the area.
