"The room was spacious and the location was great, with plenty of snack shops and a supermarket downstairs. The front desk staff were very friendly and even gave us breakfast vouchers. However, when we first entered the room, there was a strong smell of smoke, possibly from the previous guest. I hope they air out the room more thoroughly after guests check out."

"Even though I booked a no-smoking room, the room really smelled like cigarettes. I asked to change, and had to change 2 more times since all of the rooms smell like stale cigarettes. The final room I was in was fine, but lower floor and the windows weren't as nice. The reception staff were friendly when switching rooms and answering my questions. For the room, it's a good size and was overall clean. Every time you enter the room, the TV turns on full volume with a safety warning which was annoying to turn off. The room also had condoms for sale on the desk in the room, so I assume it is a love hotel. It's a central location in the city, but nothing too close right outside the hotel. Everything is about 15-20 min walk away."

"Atour in Meizhou has really stepped up its service! It's so thoughtful. The environment is clean and well-designed, very user-friendly. They even prepared a cake for me on my birthday! For the dry cleaning, there's dedicated staff to help with washing and drying. The hotel's breakfast腌面 (pickled noodles) are even more authentic than what you find outside. A perfect stay!"

It truly feels like sleeping in a museum where the exhibits come to life. The property itself is an attraction. The atmosphere is incredibly quiet and relaxing, offering a perfect escape. We loved the convenience of having dinner on-site; the local dishes are freshly cooked to order and everything was delicious. The breakfast was also fantastic. To top it off, everything was spotlessly clean and well-organized. An unforgettable experience!"

"I haven't encountered a hotel like this in a long time where I wanted to write a bad review even before checking out. Firstly, the hotel's location is good, and there was a slight smell from the recent renovations. When I checked in, I told the receptionist I didn't want a last-minute room, but they gave me one right away – it was terrible! Having to wait until 10:30 PM to change rooms was an unpleasant experience. Secondly, the room design was bizarre. The bathroom didn't have a separate shower area, so the entire toilet was basically wet after showering, including the toilet paper. It was also strange that there was no place to hang clothes, and no designated place for dirty towels. It felt like they just hired a designer on the spot. The worst part is that this hotel had only recently opened, and the faucets were leaking terribly, making it impossible for the sink to drain. You think that's the worst part? No. The worst part was the room I stayed in, room 8425. I arrived at the room around 10:00 PM, and the KTV noise downstairs didn't stop until after 1:00 AM. And when I asked the hotel reception, they didn't have earplugs! I was speechless. I haven't stayed in such a cheap hotel in a long time. If you're sensitive to noise, don't come here; it's really terrible. This hotel is absolutely not worth recommending. The service is extremely poor, and the staff is poorly trained. In short, I'm warning everyone to avoid this place!"

I also booked two rooms and checked in very early, yet the rooms were assigned far apart. It would be better if the hotel could consider placing rooms from the same booking closer together, especially when the room types are the same. On a positive note, the room and bathroom were clean, and the amenities were complete and well provided. However, it was quite difficult to find food options around the hotel. It would be helpful if the hotel could recommend nearby dining options to assist guests, especially tourists."
