"We booked two Studio Suite Twin for a family stay for 2 days. The staff was kind enough to give us adjoining rooms. The fixture and fittings are a bit old but the rooms, bed linen and couches were clean. The kettle in one of the rooms was faulty and a small table in the other room was wobbly. Both were replaced immediately.
We enjoyed the space we had with the connecting rooms. On the second day, we did not leave our rooms until past 10am. The housekeeping team came twice to check if we wanted our rooms cleaned. We asked them to return half an hour later to do the housekeeping. However, when we returned to the rooms in the evening, the rooms were not cleaned yet. After a call to the reception and a talk with a staff member who came to the room, the rooms were cleaned promptly after that.
I think the rooms need an upgrade. The hotel still provides small bottles of shampoo, hair conditioner and bath soap whereas newer hotels have changed to refillable pump bottles for these toiletries. We noticed that some towels have blood and dirt stains on them.
Overall, we had a comfortable stay at the hotel."

"I had a wonderful stay at Swiss Garden Hotel! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is very strategic — just about 15-20mins walk to the Red House, Jonker Street, and the riverside, where you can find plenty of nice bars, local food, and spots to explore. The free private parking was a big plus, especially for those driving in.
Highly recommended for travelers looking for a relaxing and hassle-free holiday — a perfect place to chill and enjoy Melaka at your own pace."

"I stayed for 2 nights and had pleasant experience. The check -in process was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room was clean,quiet,and comfortable -the bed especially was great after long day of travel.Swimming pool-clean and well maintained, with shallow area that was perfect for toddlers and a separate section for adults.
The location is very convenient, with restaurant and shops nearby and it's easy to get around.

"I had a pleasant stay at the homestay. The unit was nice, spacious, and comfortable,with a lovely view of Melaka town. It was a relaxing place to unwind after exploring the city.
I appreciated that the unit came with a washing machine,which was very convenient. However, there was no dryer and no designated place to dry clothes, which made laundry a bit challenging.
Overall, it's a great place for a short stay, especially if you're looking for comfort and a good view. Just keep in mind the limited laundry drying options if you're planning a longer visit."

"I stayed at Estadia Hotel and booked the suite and honestly, the room was stunning! Super spacious with 2 bedrooms, 3 comfortable beds (1 king bed + 2 single bed) and 2 bathrooms, definitely worth it if you’re coming with family or friends.
However, one small downside is the parking area. From the parking to the lobby, it’s not really luggage-friendly. There’s a small set of stairs, so you’ll need to lift your bags instead of just rolling them, and it gets a bit hot around that area.
Breakfast was decent, but the options for Malay food were quite limited. There was only nasi lemak available, which felt a bit too simple considering the variety you’d usually expect at a hotel.
Other than that, the suite itself was amazing and I really enjoyed my stay."

"Got the family Deluxe room The kids love it because of the slide and the projector. The hotel design is very unique with retro feel but nodren facilities. They provude a DIY tote bag for the kids. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Awesome experience.
The only issue is the carpark which the hotel free carpark is located 5 minutes walk."

"Been there for business travel.
Pros:
1. Service staff was good, everyone was very helpful, from front desk to restaurant to gym. The biggest plus point for this hotel.
2. Breakfast consider delicious, just the options not much.
3. Sauna room was spacious.
Cons:
1. Sauna opens 7am to 8pm, for business travel I don’t get the chance to use it properly.
2. Baby stores are not ready until further notice which even the staffs doesn’t know.
3. There are strong moldy smell in the room. For this I gave poor for cleanliness. Blinds for the bathroom are not working.
If ever going back will be because of the staffs, the amenities won’t make me to go return."

EEveGFirst time staying at Baba House Hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean with lifts available for every floor. Loved the decorations in the hotel which gives an ideal of what a Baba’s house really looked like. Location was great as it is within walking distance to Jonker Street with its night market & interesting shops around the vicinity. Spoilt for choice as there are numerous Peranakan restaurants nearby as well as cafes, local delights and chendol.
Many shops selling Malacca local products are also within walking distance. Will definitely be back!

There are few designated hotel parking bays and ample street parking bays available. There are many eateries around the hotel including a 7-11 right next door. Overall a wonderful short stay and budget friendly hotel.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located within walking distance to many eateries as well as jonker st. We booked this hotel based on friend's good review in the past.
However its facilities are quite run down. When we checked in there's only sugar provided, no coffee/tea as part of the usual complimentary drinks in the room. Why only sugar satchets (see pic). The mini fridge is also no working, only noise but no cooling element. Totally cannot be used. I had to resort to getting ice from eateries outside to cool my drinks. One of the power buttons at the wall below the tv also came loose when powered on. It's a safety hazard. Then the bathroom toilet bowl (see pic) has so many cracks. One can only hope it doesn't give way half way while using it! Even the basin table top has a huge crack on the surface too. For the price I think we could get better value elsewhere.

The air condition is really cold and blanket is not really thick which makes me freezing overnight, thank god I got my bf to warm me.
The towels are not recommended to use cuz it looks dirty and used before.
The floor is a bit sticky but acceptable, wish next time can provide a slipper.
The area is not noisy during our staying and the water dispenser is working but not produce hot water.
There’s a pharmacy downstairs so it’s convenient to buy smt u need, oso 7-11 and a burger stall nearby.
In conclusion, u get what u paid for.
