It depends what you are looking for. If you’re looking for fun, loud music, free drinks and disco then this hostel is for you to connect with similar people and the price is ok. If you are looking for a peaceful place to sleep early and have an early morning tour then the neighbors will most likely disturb you and not let you sleep well) The bathroom floor was always wet which wasn’t a pleasant experience (

非常開心，在墨爾本的最後一夜定了這家酒店，我非常喜歡這家酒店，因為這家酒店免費給我升級套房了。就在唐人街的對面，沒想到對面就是朋友工作的茅台店。周圍吃的喝的非常多，地理位置超級好。我第二天早晨想去看楓葉就去了附近的公園超級美。公園那裡還有個博物館。哎呀真的非常喜歡墨爾本就是因為體驗了這麼多很棒的酒店和很好的服務。

The room is quite nice and the location is good. It’s self checkin so I had to wait downstairs for a while as there was no staff and I wasn’t aware of this. There was a really a noisy alarm in the building across the street from my room and I asked to change room around midnight. The staff aren’t very accommodating and I couldn’t change room. Luckily the noise stopped after a while. The hotel is okay but I had actually just come from the Brady Hotel at Central Melbourne where the price and location is similar but with much better customer service. I’d suggest skipping the Ibis.

The hotel is centrally located. You can access to Chinatown and Melbourne Central Station within 10 minutes. The room was cozy and had everything I needed. However, the view was not that good. My window faced right between two buildings. And basically it had no view at all. The other thing was the luggage storage. If you plan to store your luggage after checking out, make sure you collect your luggage back on the ground floor instead of the lobby (2/F) where you dropped your luggage.

Staycation for family in a one bedroom twin double which was perfectly spacious for 2 Adults & 2 under 7. Close to everything in the CBD likes the theatres, Chinatown, cafes and tram stops. Nice Juliet window to look out over the streets below. Only issue was Tv Connection for the kids (especially at 6am when they wake) tvs were not working.

Great hotel. However it seems that parking around here isn't so convenient due to spaces. And thus I took the vallet which is 80 per day. A little pricey from my own view but maybe no other choices I guess ? The area is amazing to town hall and have almost full walking access to east Melbourne already. Everything would be in 3km range which is definitely walkable. Breakfast is impressive and staff are extremely helpful. Very good

Check in lovely, friendly staff, explanation of candy bar and breakfast options. Bed was sub par, and this matters when your paying $2300 for four nights accomodation. Pillows were awful, terrible neck support and lumpy. Bed was hard and not comfortable, pillow top was thin like a wool blanket. Bathroom sink was tiny, and nearly unusable, hitting my face on the mirror when trying to wash face, or rinse mouth. The tilt/list on the tiles in the bathroom forced water to sit behind and around toilet bowl. Water pressure was good and hot. Lounge was nice in the room but why a 6-7 seater for a 2 person room, it’s not as though I can have guests to my room. This is a design flaw and the room should have allowed more space dedicated to the bathroom as this would be practical, there was not even a usable shelf for applying makeup or storing personal hygiene products. The mini bar restock was nice, however not everyone drinks alcohol so a non-alcoholic minibar would have been more appreciated and cheaper to hotel costs, an option to choose would have been nice. Did not go to happy hour nor opt for breakfast takeaways on the grab and go. Would I stay again, no. For the cost, comfort and the location, it is not worth it in my opinion.

We were assigned with a room with small window and we can literally see the ppl at the next building. The people welcome us with chocolate cookie 🍪 😋. The room itself is nice and comfy.the location was good, with free tram bus stop within a few min walks. There are alot of food choices and supermarket around.the breakfast in hotel is almost same everyday. Can walk to yarra river to see beautiful view
