Excellent location on Spencer Street ,just opposites the Southern Cross Station,so easy to get around by foot or public transport.eg: Flinders street Station,Swanston Street for all kinds of foods ,China Town ... Staffs there are all nice and friendly . Best point for my this trip is onsite car parking .It is great for people driving in!

Great Southern is a good transit and access to central city of Melbourne. The main railway station and two large supermarkets are only 1-3 mins walk. Central city, parks and ups ale shopping also only a few minutes or free central city trams are a highlight. The hotel is a good choice for students, domestic travellers and international tour groups.

I would thoroughly recommend the family room for families at this hotel . Spacious rooms with large beds and a generous bathroom . ＜5minute walk from train station. Food is available downstairs. We had the breakfast in the morning. Was so convenient in many ways . Check in/out was also easy . Great value for money .

Great location, only 2-minute's walk from Southern Cross station. The room is more spacious than shown in the photos on the hotel's website.

For a quick business trip, the location was incredibly convenient. It's just a 30-minute direct Skybus ride to the airport, and accessing Sydney itself was also very easy.

A little complaint about your blanket,I want to say a little about the blanket in the hotel should be changed to a thicker one, I feel uncomfortable when wearing the blanket, it makes my body feel itchy and there is a little dust on the blanket, and I have to open the blanket, for me everything else is very okay except the blanket, thank you, I hope you can fix it and change the type of your blanket, I will come here again💙

Very Handy hotel right near Southern Cross station. Always stay there when passing through Melbourne.

The location is great, but there are a few areas that need improvement: the curtains have mould, the blankets provided are loose wool covers that feel unclean, and the air conditioning was not working on the last night.
