Nice hotel. Warm swimming pool and sauna, good point at this cold weather. Clean room everyday and more towels for my kids. Nice location near every where center of city . Also having bathtub inside, my kid very happy about this. Thanks Taynara for helping me alot

Good price and location. I was booked somewhere else but due to their mistake I had to book somewhere else at the last minute. If I had any complaints it would be that the ac didn’t seem to be working. Perhaps I wasn’t operating it correctly but I believe I was but even so there were no instructions on how to operate it. My room was on the opposite side to the lifts and it’s quite a walk to get to them. I didn’t try the restaurant because you’re in the middle of Melbourne why would you. All in all a good experience and I’d stay there again.

The hotel located at centralised location and very easy to walk to anywhere in the CBD area. The only regret was the sofa bed mattress is too soft for me to sleep. But overall the experience is great.

The first room we were assigned to was super disappointing and felt dirty. It was interior facing and had not been renovated. We requested to be moved to another room and thankfully was given a newly renovated room facing Collin Street.

WORST Novotel hotel i have ever stayed in! I have stayed at novotel hotel in Europe, Asia and Australia but this is by far THE WORST shockingly for an Accor chain hotel. Worst in service, worst in room condition and worst in housekeeping. Location is about 20mins walk from the Southern Cross station. Walkable distance to most banks in the CBD area. I arranged for an Amazon package to arrive on the same day as I arrived but it turned up early and reception turned it away. Myself and seller have prompted hotel days before to expect the parcel. When i arrived and checked on the reason, 3 people gave 2 different stories to basically blame the Australian Post or seller and lied about having rejected the parcel. 1 story (Front Desk Manager and Asst Manager) to say a wrong named parcel was givne and another 1 story (Concierge Manager) denied to have ever received the parcel. When i confronted, Front Desk Manager just said they cant help at all and brushed me away. All happened right away the Receptionish demonstrated ****** and discriminative behaviour. The Asian lady at first refused to accept my Debit Card which i just used to check in and out of Novotel Sydney with, then also made a comment if i had $200 on me to pay cash for the bond deposit. She even refused to provide a receipt of the deposit i have paid which i reported to the Fornt Desk Manager who also brushed the matter under carpet. Dont be deceived by the hotel room photos as the actual condition is a whole lot worse. Wallpapers coming off of the walls and musty smell on the carpet. TV is at least 20 years old that only works on basic functions. Bathroom is the only 20th century fixture in the room but very dim in light because of poor lighting fixtures. Housekeeping only replenishes the drink sachets and bed making. Doesnt even clear rubbish or change out towels that were set for a replacement. The list goes on. Definitely do not recommend to anyone. I definitely have told all my business associates at a bank just right across the street.

Staff were friendly and professional in quickly handling check in and out. The rooms are spacious, clean, comes with all essentials. Very comfortable stay at a great location.

Location was perfect. Room was spacious though furnishing look tired and worn. A renovation would be a good idea.

Loved the location and the actual hotel, but the house keeper was very frustrating. 3 days in a row, woke me up even though I had a sign up and on one of the days I woke up to her cleaning and sorting the mini bar out. Obviously didn’t look if I was on bed or not, but clearly the do not disturb sign doesn’t work. This morning I got a knock 3 hours before my late checkout was confirmed with reception. Would have been nice if she had asked reception. Aside from her, everything else was perfect.

Below average facilities, in terms of weak / no wifi in some rooms, broken kettle, broken lamp. (I'm so unlucky this time, don't know if the poor room condition is attributed to my last-minute reservation) Helpful receptionists and housekeepers. Staff shortage, the hotline is rarely reached. If view toward countyard, there will be soft noisy from the shopping centre on 2nd floor.
