I’d like to share our Villa experience at Crown Towers Melbourne room 3138 from 29th to 31st May 2023. To start, our greeting from Anthony and Sarah was simply delightful with champagne and the ultimate introduction of the room. We couldn’t have asked for anything more on arrival. The housekeeping attention to detail was excellent, though a mop was left in the second lavatory on the 2nd day. Not a big deal for us, however it’s those small touches that could impact other guests impressions. The bed was WOW - the linens, wow wow wow, like a cloud. The Koko Black chocolates were beautiful though the fruit bowl was nothing to be desired, a fruit platter would have made a nicer touch. The ceramics and art work in the Villa were spectacular though please inspect and dust the two ceramic cranes in the bedroom, the dust on them was so thick, I don’t think it had been done for a couple of months. The power plug at the bedroom window was slightly off the wall requiring maintenance and scuff marks on the walls. There was some feedback that we would like to give that would’ve made our stay absolutely incredible and memorable and what we thought would have been included as a ‘butler touch’ but failed to deliver. (Noting that we have stayed at numerous other properties globally that do this) For example, Knowing that it was our anniversary, a romantic bath or rose petals on the bed after we returned from the club room, would’ve been a nice touch Knowing that we were going to stay in, enjoy the room and watch movies, a small gesture of popcorn or movie snacks would’ve been a nice touch. I would have loved if it was offered to have our luggage unpacked. The in-room tablet is a big thing for us. It’s something that influences us to stay at Crown! Knowing that we can order room service at any time from the tablet. This never worked and was never able to be fixed for the duration of stay. This was a big letdown. On our second night the turndown service came approximately 1600. It was the two Butler team, plus two Housekeeper‘s, it would’ve been better if they had of waited until we went to the club room at 1730, so we were not disturbed. Overall, I don’t think you can offer the butler service as a selling point because we were not offered anything different than when we have stayed in the Premier Club suite. If the Butlers are meant to offer you services, then this feedback should definitely be delivered because we were not offered anything above and beyond what we would get in a standard Crown Suite. Though worthy to note that any time we interacted with any of the Butler team, the communication was professional and delightful. I do expect absolute perfection in hotels (and I’m happy to pay the price) but there were just a few imperfections that need attention. I have booked again for my 40th birthday because the room was so beautiful but I will come prepared with a list of requests for the butler team since its more ‘ask and you’ll receive’ rather than ‘we will

This hotel is a hidden gem! The tram is at your doorstop, which takes you straight into the city. If walking is your thing then it will only take you 25 minutes. I was lucky enough to get a room with a view of Albert Park. My room had plenty of space to set up a work station as well as relax. The team on the front desk were welcoming and faciltated a speedy check in and out.

We booked this place for 2 nights. Was offered an upgrade to 1 bedroom suite for $20 per night extra. It was huge and very nice. Very quiet room off the main road. Very comfy lounge. and bed. Full kitchen and large table & chairs. On arrival the staff were very helpful, as we had a lot of items. Problem is their parking area, does not have a lift, only stairs and we had too much to manage that way. So we used a trolley to empty the car, then took the car down to the parking, which is by the side road. had to do the reverse when we left. Loved the suite, except for the shower was in the bath, not ideal for an older person. Also the shower head was not able to move. Kitchen could do with more lighting. We would return, as it was overall good, and a good location for us. The light rail is just down the road, and a nice long walk to the South Melbourne Markets. Staff were lovely, and offered so much help with the trolley especially.

I stay here often, and every time I return the staff remember me. Very nice feeling to be welcomed back on first name. Staff always accomodating to every request. So close to tram stop that takes you right into the cbd. Two convenience stores 1min walk away coffee and cafes so close and one street away food options. love this place for work or pleasure trips

everything about Saint Domain Coventry Street is just Beautiful, the staff are amazingly Respectful the location is Location is just amazingly convenient, the rooms are just blissfully zen!! I booked directly so the property was removed from fees through a 3rd party. I asked about parking and was advised it was in the basement i asked to book and was advised no need to, was also advised that there is street parking. On arrival i was met with a very Pompas young woman who requested a $150 bond ( nothing was mentioned at time of booking ) i asked why and was told ALL HOTELS CHARGE THIS I advised never had i before been charged. I was also charged a parking fee again not mentioned at point of booking. I took my bags to the room and on returning to outside the building met other travelers who advised me they were charged $100 bond and they also were shocked. I was left thinking why was i charged $150 The apartment was clean and bed comfortable however my experience with the staff outweighed the room and bed. . On returning to me home I called to speak to a manager re this and was met with a manager ( HE CALLED HIMSELF THAT ) FROM EAST Melbourne apartment .. He was very rude on the phone over talked me entirely , he asked me my personal details i gave them then the room number i gave it. He then heated up and said we dont have that room number , not being from Melbourne I asked are you near Station Pier ( he replied I dont know this ) I then said so you dont know where the boat leaves to go to Tasmania. He said no I said really and you're in Tourism . He said no and started over talking me so fast I could hardly understand him ( he was not a national person ) no not being racist just stating facts. He then hung up on me I was shocked i did call back and asked to speak to General Manager he gave me an email address ceem@cityedge.com.au. If this is they type of Up front Managers that the Edge Apartments have as the face of their company then I am shocked working in Tourism myself for many years I would never have this person working for my company and to know general points of information about the State I was working in is an embarrassment to any organization..

I loved this apartment! I’ve stayed in several hotels and establishments over the past few weeks in Australia and this was the best by FAR! Cleanliness and attention to detail were immaculate. It was so refreshing to walk into a beautiful apartment with everything taken care of - the TV was great and had movies on demand (and there was a TV in the bedroom too!), there was a washing machine and tumble dryer, with washing powder provided. There is a dishwasher (again, dishwasher tablets as well as washing up liquid provided and topped up throughout my stay). I got fresh towels everyday and my bed made/bins emptied etc. The kitchen area was so well stocked with equipment and had everything I needed and more. Staff were very accommodating and lovely - I was able to check in over 3 hours early (which was a god send after a long flight) and check out 2 hours late (again so helpful as I was just heading to the airport so it meant I could do some final washing and get ready). The rooftop pool, sauna and spa were a great addition too, which I used almost everyday. Very quiet and restful place which provided me with a really good rest that I needed at this point on my trip, and allowed me to do all my washing etc in the comfort of my room, which means I’ve left feeling rejuvenated. Very impressed and would definitely return!
