I recently had the misfortune of staying at B&B HOTEL Bordeaux Mérignac Hôtel de Ville, and let me tell you, it was a far cry from a pleasant experience. The room, if you can even call it that, was a tiny box that cost me a whopping €100. I've seen bigger closets! The staff, when you could actually find them, seemed about as enthusiastic as a sloth on a lazy Sunday. Every request was met with a sigh and an eye roll, as if I was asking them to move mountains. Let's talk about the location. If you're looking for a hotel in the middle of nowhere, congratulations, you've found it! Unless you have a car, be prepared for a trek to get anywhere. The only saving grace was the proximity to the airport, but even that couldn't make up for the isolation. As for the noise, well, I hope you're a heavy sleeper. The doors slam so loudly, you'd think they were trying to wake the dead. And the other guests? Let's just say their nocturnal strange activities were less than discreet. I've heard more peaceful sounds at a construction site.
