Hotel berhampiran Museo Provinciale Messina nel Novecento, Messina

I have stayed at il Galleone this summer together with my family the nights before and after my wedding. Il Galleone is conveniently located in the historical city centre, a stone away from the Duomo/Cathedral square. Everything is literally at walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants and places to eat in the elegant and peaceful neighbourhood. The rooms are well equipped with every comfort: air conditioning, hairdryer, fresh towels, toiletries etc.. They are very nicely decorated and elegant, so they suited perfectly the wedding pictures. The breakfast is kindly provided in the communal room where coffee facilities and pastries are served every morning. A special voucher is offered in addition to this for the very first morning when one can opt to have breakfast in one of the two historical coffee places located in the Cathedral Square, literally 100 metres from the Galleone. Such a bonus! Antonella and Rosario were perfect hosts (at times they felt like family), so welcoming and catering all the demanding needs a bride can have, always supportive and understanding. They went out of their way to make my family have the best experience possible during our stay and I will eternally be grateful to them for this. I highly recommend the Galleone to everyone who needs to be in Messina either for work or leisure. It's a special place run by very amazing people: You will feel like Home! Thank you so much!

Posto interessante e centrale.Camera completa di confort anche se un cuscino in più non ci stava male.Ottima l'accoglienza con i caffè, dolcetti ecc... Unica pecca da segnalare è la mancanza di privacy tra la stanza doccia e w.c. con la camera perché delimitata da soli vetri trasparenti. Tutto sommato ci torneremo

We were there as a couple for 4 days, generally, it was a good experience, perfect location, tidy room and polite receptionists. Personally, I just didn't like the coffee machine on the breakfast self-service since the taste was unpleasant for me and we wanted to use laundry but it was a little bit pricy, with the price for the service we bought clothes.

Ho avuto il piacere di poter usufruire dell’ampio salone con vista mozzafiato sullo stretto di Messina per festeggiare il decimo compleanno di mia figlia in maniera nuova e alternativa. Oltre alla bellezza dei locali curati nel dettaglio, ho trovato immensa cordialità e disponibilità da parte dei proprietari, sempre prontissimi ad accogliere ogni nostra richiesta! ottimo catering con cibo fresco e genuino. Consigliato vivamente !!!

Do 10 da ogni punto di vista, a partire dal proprietario e la sua famiglia che sono di una disponibilità dolcissima e dalla struttura che è super pulita e curata al meglio per il benessere degli ospiti. Le camere sono moderne e spaziose e la cucina attrezzata al massimo per una colazione più che soddisfacente. In aggiunzione non ci sono problemi di parcheggio e la struttura si trova sicuramente in un punto strategico. Se dovessi ritornare a Villa sarà sicuramente la mia prima scelta.

Excellent position close to beautiful via Marina with old giant trees, elegant corso Garibaldi, the Harbour hidtofoils peer to Messina and the foremost interesting archeological museums with the impressive statues of Bronzi di Riace. The rooms are spacious and clean with nice bathrooms. The location is quiet and the staff is kind and supportive. There is also a small and good restaurant to solve the needs of a quick tasty dinner. The hotel claims four star but there are some doubts because of absence e. g. of courtesy slipperies and bathrobe, the non convenient location and unavailability of electric sockets ose to the bed nor USB ports.

Tha amazying place with a woderful owner, Piero, who is very helpful almost all the time when you need the advice where to eat or where to go. Great hospitality. The B&B is very clean and warm. Rooms are nice and bright. The breakfast is not too large but for me absolutely sufficient. With no doubts I recommend it for a stay in Reggio Calabria. I love that place!

Hotel is very central to the shops and Resturants , for parking they have a garage in another street that they will guide to find the garage just one road down easy to find you have to pay €20 but it’s worth it , becuse in the area there is no parking spaces or you have to be lucky to find one becuse it’s too busy, breakfast could be better for a 4 star hotel but and the AC needs a service becuse it wasn’t working well , above all it was ok

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo soggiornato in questo b&b per 14 notti. Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti dal Signor Pasquale che è stato cordiale e disponibile per tutta la nostra permanenza. Inizialmente sul sito c'era scritto che il parcheggio era incluso e gratuito ma in realtà si trovava nelle vicinanze o a pagamento oppure se ti andava bene lo trovavi gratuito circa dopo le 18. Quindi per questo motivo il primo giorno abbiamo preso una multa. La posizione era ottima a due minuti a piedi dal Corso Garibaldi( via principale di negozi, bar...) . La camera era abbastanza ampia e moderna. Dotata di frigobar, cassaforte e condizionatore. Il bagno era piccolino ma gradevole. La colazione è stata molto gradita, si faceva in una cucina in comune in cui c'era diversa scelta. Una cosa che era a nostra insaputa è che a Reggio l'acqua dopo le 20/21 viene staccata fino circa le 5 del mattino. Avremmo gradito averlo saputo prima come anche del parcheggio. Quindi noi essendo andati nel mese di agosto dovevamo ridurci a tornare dal mare entro un certo orario per evitare di rimanere senz'acqua e senza poter usufruire dei servizi igenici. Il bagno non disponeva di un impianto di fognatura comune ma di un impianto come quello delle navi e di conseguenza non potevamo gettare nel wc più di un tot di carta perché c'era il rischio che questo si intoppasse facendo risalire l'acqua sporca dal rubinetto e dalla doccia. Dovevi stare anche attento appena uscito da questa dato che la pavimentazione era in parquet con il rischio che si rovinasse. Non disponeva né di una finestra né di un aspiratore per gli odori. Nella camera non era presente un balconcino, avremmo preferito che ci fosse stato. La pulizia non era delle migliori e gli asciugamani non ci venivano cambiati ogni giorno ( abbiamo avuto gli stessi asciugamani anche per una settimana). Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono, tutto sommato ci ritorneremmo.
