Decent hotels and stayed a few times, however this current time, they gave the wrong bed. I had requested a king size bed, but they just gave two single beds :(
The walls had marks on them which had indicated that the cleaning of the room was not to the best of standards.
There was also a bulb missing from the lamp.

Service was so far OK. It’s just few minutes walk from the train station to Venezia. Btw, it was bad that I always smell people smoking in the hotel.

Staying in Mestre is an option if you don’t want to spend too much in Venice hotels. This Staycity is a modern hotel at a reasonable rate. It is close to the bus and train station, within 8 mins walk. The receptionists are friendly and professional. The room is equipped with utensils that you can cook for yourself.

Initially, we took the wrong exit of the station and ended up walking a really long detour from the neighbourhood area. Advise to look out for the lift up to platform 1 area where the main exit is at and follow the green gate to the hotel. Don’t expect a regular hotel service as this is an apartment hotel, so housekeeping is not full service. Only benefit is the kitchenette.

Perfect location close to the railway station! Within 10minutes in the heart of Venice. Rooms have all you need, clean and very nice staff.

Spacious apartment and friendly staff. Walking distance to train station and supermarket. It would be better to have more shelves and hooks in the bathroom because there were only 2 hooks for towels/clothes which are not enough. The glass door of the shower screen could not be closed properly. Water came out and made the floor wet.
