Hotel berhampiran Neuhausen (E), Metzingen

My stay at Hotel Bohn was short but sweet - it was decent enough for two nights, and I did feel comfortable and safe in the room as a solo female traveller. The furnishings seemed new, and the room smelled like new wooden furniture. The bathroom was spick and span, and bigger than I was expecting! The room is very basic, but it was totally sufficient for my needs on this trip. My room had a sky light, which was nice during the day but was an issue in the early morning when the sun came up (I think the motorised shade that was meant to be drawn over the window was broken as it wouldn't respond to any of the buttons I was pressing?) so I strongly recommend you bring an eyemask with you just in case. I had a room towards the back of the hotel so I didn't hear any of the noise from the main road during the night. It was quiet and peaceful, and I slept very soundly. Location was excellent for where I needed to go.

我們是約晚上8點多到達, 前台沒有人, 只有門口的一部機械, 要入密碼才可以進入. 我們在門口找了很久才打到電話打給客服, 他告知密碼後, 我們試行操作, 但可能天氣太凍,只有約-4度, 試了幾次都感應不到, 還不可以一直試下去, 要等機械閒置約1-2分鐘才可再試, 最後試了很多遍後, 終於成功了(感謝主). 這酒店應該家庭式管理, 分開2橦, 一橦的門口就是在大門旁, 而另一橦的門口是在進入餐廳後的一道門後, 有點迷失. 讚賞點: 房間整潔和比其他酒店是較大的. 早餐雖然食物不多, 但要有的東西都是有的, 味道很好.

Ich war zu einem Fahrradwochenende dort, incl. Abendessen im eigenen Restaurant. Frisch renoviertes Zimmer, eher modern, die Einrichtung sonst ist -passend zum Äusseren eher konservativ bürgerlich. Gepflegt uns stimmig. Das Betreiberehepaar kümmert sich toll (ich kam am Anreisetag eigendlich erst viel zu spät zum Abendessen an) uns diese Freuden am Verwöhnen der Gäste merkt man der ganzen Atmosphare des Hauses an. Küche: regional geprägt aber innovariv. Einfach genial! Ich was bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal hier! Fahrräder kann man in einen kleinen Hof einschließen wo sie halt unter freiem Himmel stehen.

Wir waren früher schon oft in diesem Hotel, einige Jahre, immer wenn wir in Reutlingen weilten. Es war früher nicht so modern, dafür aber gemütlich und alles lief herzlich und gästeorientiert ab. Perfekt für einen kurzen Trip. Wir kamen immer gerne wieder! Jetzt sind die Zimmer aufgehübscht, schön und neu, das Facelift hat uns gefallen…die Bäder sind noch immer die alten… aber damit hätten wir leben können. Nicht leben können wir mit desinteressierten Mitarbeitern am Empfang, die im Vorfeld freundliche Anfragen desinteressiert und frei von Verbindlichkeit abarbeiten, sich bei Ankunft nicht um ihre Gäste kümmern, vor uns ihren Feierabend diskutieren und dabei unsere kleine Bitte um Unterstützung ignorieren, um danach direkt pünktlich in den Feierabend gehen. Meine Kreditkarte wurde belastet, mit 2x Frühstück, das wir nicht hatten, was im Vorfeld telefonisch besprochen war. Ein erneuter Hinweis darauf bei Anreise wurde abgelehnt! Eine Rechnung haben wir nicht erhalten und bis heute keine Reaktion auf unsere Anfrage per Mail zur Klärung dieser Situation. Also nein, ich kann dieses Hotel wirklich nicht empfehlen und muss in Reutlingen zukünftig woanders übernachten. Schade, was nach einer Verbesserung aussah… hat sich als Verschlechterung herausgestellt, die alte Stammgäste verprellt.Nur zu schade und so unprofessionell!

Sehr gutes zentral gelegenes Hotel. Wir haben dieses Hotel für einen Kurztrip gebucht. Alles war einfach perfekt. Personal an der Reception freundlich und hilfsbereit , Zimmer sehr sauber und optimal ausgestattet. Nun das Sahnehäubchen. Vom Betreiberehepaar haben wir trotz der mühseligen und fraglich sinnigen Corana Auflagen ein Frühstück bekommen welches seines Gleichen sucht. Einfach top. Hier waren wir nicht zum letzten Male.

I stayed here as part of a business trip for 2 nights. The hotel itself was very nicely decorated. The staff member who checked us in (Lyubomir Ivanov) was very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The room was a good size and also nicely decorated. The mirror however was in a strange place – right next to the door and not by the dressing table which was a bit awkward. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was large. The do provide an all in one shower-bodywash, and a hairdryer is in the room. The TV was big and had a variety of channels. There was some issues with the window that few in our party had trouble with. You cannot open it, you need to get a member of staff too, even though it only opens a little, and then ask them to close it too. There was also unfortunately no kettle. They provided you with one small bottle of sparkling water (in a double bedroom 2 would have been better). The bed was comfortable however I did find it strange having 2 separate duvets on a double bed. There is also NO SAFE. Overall comfortable but a kettle would have been appreciated for boiling water. Breakfast was ok. A selection of teas, coffee and some juices. No cooked food. A few cereals and the yoghurt/fruit was nice. Disappointed there was no hot food, and there was only rolls of bread (no toaster), and a few croissants – that were not replenished. For the number of guests there, especially on our second morning, I would have hoped more would have been supplied and maybe even a bigger variety of pastries. There is NO BAR here – drinks and snacks from a vending machine are available, (‘wine’, beer, soft drinks, prosecco and a couple of spirits with mixers). However this was not restocked, but when we did ask at reception and Lyubomir restocked it straight away and said we could pay for a few warm ones now whilst we wait, with a bucket of ice, which was very kind. Very annoying that the tea/coffee machine had no teabags by it throughout our stay, so paying for a hot water – I was lucky I had my own teabags! Also, what I found strange was the lift you could only access your floor or the ground floor with your keycard. This was to avoid customers going on other floors. A bit of a pain if you are staying on a separate floor to your travel companion and have forgotten something, so have to go to the ground floor, meet up and then go back to your room! There is also have a pool table you can use. Also, to presumably cut staff costs – there is 1 to 2 people available on check-in – and they leave the hotel by 11pm. After that there are no staff available. Overall the room was nice, staff were friendly and it is a short walk from a couple of restaurants. However due to the lack of a bar, lack of staff availability and breakfast not being the best, I wouldn’t stay here again for more than 1 night.

If you have an early morning flight to the airport, this hotel is the best choice. it is located directly across from Terminal 1. Room size is nice and is very clean. I have small critic points though. The sauna is closed due to covid. please list this on website. if you are arriving there via public transportation, you have to walk long set of stairs to get in. This is despite there is being side entrance which gives access to the registration. it is locked with only access from inside. I had to access the hotel via the main entrance and let my wife and daughter in. Very inconvenient if you alone. No one to stay with the luggage.

The rooms are nice and stylish, and the staff really makes an effort to appreciate members of their loyalty program. Everything was super clean and the location is a few minutes walking distance from the airport. They have a nice bar, and I like the atmosphere a bit better than their other airport hotel - I think it is a bit more relaxed.
