Lovely room, delightful hotel and gracious staff. However, the booking process was difficult, and the communication with the front desk confusing. We got three versions of confirmed dates (the last one correct) did not get clarification as to whether our room included breakfast. When we arrived, we were given different responses to our question about whether breakfast was included on three occasions. We are fine with paying extra, but would have liked to have know whether to eat in or elsewhere. The restaurant was a weak spot with slow service, and no red wines available by the glass on our second visit. The waitperson said it was due to Xmas, but it seems quite surprising for this level of hotel to run out of red wine options four days after the holiday. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel, the location and the rooftop brunch on our last day were great. Please work on your service and communication to guests

Really nice hotel with people that are really friendly. Clean, smells really, and serviced really well. The desk staff were really friendly and helpful. Rocío cleaned and looked after my room really well! Thanks Rocio. The Spa and gym was amazing - especially the staff who were really helpful and kind. The trainer Ariel was really helpful showing me various training routines and ways for thinking about exercise - he is an expert in Judo (black belt!). Alexis was really helpful with the spa facilities. Thanks Ariel and Alexis! The beauty salon run by Azul was really good and especially with the treatments she offers! She convinced me to start looking after the smaller things about my appearance. It is the people that make a place and in this case in Hotel Marquis Reforma. I will definitely go back. Thanks Azul! Fantastic stay with club lounge privileges. Fair warning to Bonvoy Platinum and Titanium members (Ambassadors you better know the drill with this brand, otherwise your handlers have been carting your carcass on a handcart from property to property while you’ve been under the influence) lounge access is NOT included unless you pay for it. The groveling from a previous reviewer was pathetic! Now that that’s out of the way, what a muy bien experience! Food and beverage presentations in the club lounge were superior to any other Ritz lounge we’ve visited in North America. Alyssa leads a first rate team with Francisco and Michelle as all stars. Hot entrees were present even between the breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings. We were upgraded to a corner suite. Impressed with the space, layout and electric curtains. Bathroom was superb with separate bathtub and shower. Only complaint was entitled guests allowing screaming children running amuck in the hallways first thing in the morning. And a neighboring guest listening to loud movies on his balcony whilst smoking cancer sticks. Hope he endured a handsome fine for his behavior. But he probably didn’t. Enjoyed the walking proximity to Chapultepec Park with its many fine museums. Service in the restaurant was also excellent. Looking forward to our next stay.

Nous avons débuté notre roadtrip avec cet hôtel durant 3 nuits et nous ne sommes pas déçus. Toutes les prestations proposées étaient tops et gratuites ! (salle de sport, parking) C’est un plus quand on connaît la circulation et les stationnements à Mexico city ! Le petit déjeuner servi tous les matins était frais, du jour et très bon. Le seul bémol est que pour les adeptes comme moi du chocolat chaud, ils n’en servent pas ^^ et ils n’ont pas de confiture non plus. Quant au beurre, il faut leur demander. Les chambres étaient très propres, bien équipées (TV, placard, nécessaire de toilette, douche, WC…) Points négatifs que nous avons noté : Ça reste assez loin du centre et nous avons dû nous déplacer en Uber pour certains endroits, ce n’est pas un hôtel à choisir si vous voulez rayonner à pieds

First of all, the location is good as Condesa is a nice and cosy area. It is right next to a busy street though, which could be heard from my room day and night. The rooms are big and spacious, but that is the only thing justifying them being called suites. They are simple, dark and nothing extra has been done to make it special. It is not the ”home” feeling they promise on their website. The amenities in the room were at a basic level. Even soap in shower is just a big dispenser on the wall (Mine with a fake eye lash on top of it - not one I brought in to the room... aka bad cleaning). It is a shame, because the potentiel is there. And the nice roof top and breakfast restaurant shows they know how to. Information level at check in wasn't really impressive and doesn't live up to the personalized experience and service they promise on their website. The staff is friendly and helpful though. So all in all, they oversell the place a bit and promise more than they can live up to. Location is good, but there are many other great places in Condesa or Roma.
