The room wasn't what I'd expect from a resort. The fridge froze all of our food even after we adjusted it. The room was impossible to keep a decent temp. Either it was freezing or burning up. The bed was made half ass... stains all in the toilet. I'm sure some lime away would fix that we live in rural area with hard water and my toilet is pristine.... but it gives me the impression no one cares about the appearance or cleanliness of the hotel. Unless we were offered an upgrade for our next stay to see if that's worth it we won't be staying at blue chip again.

We really do enjoy staying at Microtel. The only downfall is the front desk staff is not very friendly. They don’t talk to you, just give you a pen to sign, hand you your rooms keys with your room number on it and walk away.
