Hotel 3 Bintang di Milan

We requested for high floor but was given ground floor which is just next to the street and it was really noisy. We couldn’t open the curtains or window as well. We did not complain as it was just a night stay and we were leaving early in the morning anyways. Mattress was quite hard and the pillow was quite soft for my liking. Room was quite small for 2 pax and 2 large luggage and it the design didn’t look like what we have booked but the room we have gotten still looks acceptable. The only thing I didn’t quite like was the bathroom floor. It was the same level as the bedroom. So as we showed, some of the water will flow into the bedroom. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay.

Very convenienly located hotel a few meters from Milano Centrale and the shuttles to airports. Rooms are basic but do the job for a layover. The lobby is nicely decorated and the staff is excellent, experienced and professional. We stayed for a night between flights so I cannot comment if it's convenient for sightseeing but as I understood it is a couple of metro stops from the cathedral with the station less than 100m away. Don't expect a Fairmont but for us was a great choice.

Super comfortable place, just 3-5 minutes walk to central train station. The room is simple but enough, with a extraordinary heather and quiet. The bathroom is spacious and the electronic towel holder is a nice extra. In the shared area, it have a microwaves and cutlery, so you can order or bring your meal and use that space

Location good, rooms small and old fashioned but plenty of electrical sockets and good bedside lamps. Comfortable bed, good thick window panes for sound insulation. The bathroom in number 1 a little primitive but the shower although a bit small is excellent. Breakfast correct and friendly and clearly others enjoy coming to Milan and staying in this hotel. It’s clean and cosy. We like unpretentious old fashioned small hotels and this is well located

The hotel is located right in the city centre about 50 metres from the Duomo and the underground station. Check-in and service was fast and efficient. The room was spotlessly clean and had shower, TV, fridge, air conditioning and free wi-fi. Breakfast selection was excellent with fresh bread and pastries, cured meats, cheese, cooked food, yoghurt with orange juice and freshly made coffee. As it’s right in the centre of the city there is some road noise. From the Duomo walk straight up Via Orefici and Via Dante (with lots of outdoor restaurants) to the castle and the town park behind it. From the Duomo, four stops on the yellow line of the metro (tickets cost €2 from the machines - cash or card) take you to Central Station. From here you can get to Bergamo, Lake Como and Lake Maggiore within an hour. Tickets can be bought from the machines or office and are €6-9 each way. For Lake Como either get the train to Varenna Esino then ferry to Bellagio, another ferry to Como and the train back to Milan or do it the other way round. There are two train stations in Como, Lago is right by the lake but the trains are slower, San Giovanni is on the edge of town with faster service. For the ferry between Como and Bellagio I recommend taking the slowest one that stops everywhere as it’s cheaper (€10 - pay at kiosk) and you get fantastic views as you zig-zag across the lake. I started off wondering how it could take 2 hours but finished wishing it would never end.

Sono stato in diversi hotel di questa catena, ma a Milano considerando il prezzo e l’ubicazione credo che questo soddisfi tutte le condizioni. Struttura moderna, camere standard ma molto pulite con un tocco moderno. Nella reception si trovano diversi snack e bevande e al 5° piano anche un terrazzo. L’unica pecca devo dire che è l’insonorizzazione della camera, si sentiva davvero tutto dall’altra camera e anche dal corridoio. Insonorizzazione con l’esterno invece molto buona con due finestre.

Buenas habitaciones, buen desayuno, buena atencion. Cercano a los medios de transporte y a la zona centrica a pie. Tarifa adecuada.

I would like to praise the receptionists Paola and Seba. I received help from them in every possible thing, even not related to the hotel. Seba called the car rental company and spoke with them in Italian, and helped me a lot. Paola helped me find parking near the hotel. Thank you very much for everything, highly recommended.
