Hotel Millicent dengan Bar

When I booked this I was just looking for close to the hospital, the manager knew my husband was having an operation. Yeah OK it looks tired BUT the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the shower was hard and hot and the staff lovely, hell what more could I want for this price; there’s even a pool in the secure back yard.. Knowing our situation the manager even rang me and asked if we needed anything, how kind is that. I’d go back.

This was the most unhygienic motel l have been to. The pic above was my room. When l entered l thought what a lovely clean room untill l went to have a shower. I refused asking for a cleaner room as l'm experienced in this field. We went from room to room trying to find me a healthy bathroom. Finally we came to a room that they don't use. Still was filthy but much cleaner than the others. As we went from room to room l explained l used to be in that field and had several stuff under me. I told her lf one of my cleaners was to clean any bathroom you have showed me they would if be corrected or dismissed for hygienic reasons. I then coped she was thrown in the deep end and was told only to use viniger to clean. I told her that was unacceptable. She then blamed the people who did the tiles and said they didn't seal them so it has stacked up the scum. I gave her much encouragement believing her and show her how to make a bed without breaking her back and saving time. I also advised her on chemicals that need to be used in bathrooms so people would not contact foot disease. So l spent my 1st night being transferred from room to room giving advice and then left with nothing to use as utensils to eat my dinner. She wouldn't answer the phone or messages. By this stage l was really tired and annoyed. Dispute After her buying some stuff l recommend. The next morning she was using viniger again. 3 days l was there with no service of room and when l popped my head out the door to ask for some toilet paper l was told I'M WITH A CLIENT WAIT. Well l was a paid client that didn't rest all night to help her . I still when l left striped the bed to help here and left an encouraging letter. I got a response of thankyou for the kind letter. How ever since then l have left messages spoken to her and emailed her to simply ask the name of the bed l slept in as it was the only good thing. I slept a woke up with no pain. She has not even had the respect to return the favour or help me bee pain free. I will leave you with some photos. Each to their own

After staying in a holiday home, then arriving at Bonnie’s. Bonnie’s wins hands down. Unfortunately we can only stay 1 night. But as we have now discovered Bonnie’s we will be back and use this as our new base for a weekend down here. Fantastic view across the bay, close to a micro brewery. All of Beachport is walking distance from here All access to the apartment ie via key pad. Good size car park. Beach port is a good place to use as a base to explore the Coonawarra and surrounding areas.

We found the Millicent Motel to be clean, tidy and excellent value for money. The owners even went above and beyond posting items to us which we accidentally left in our room. Amazing service. We highly recommend the Millicent Motel for travellers.
