Hotel Mindelo dengan Gim

We have just returned from a 9 night stay at the Blue Marlin. We had a fabulous time. We had the top apartment which had a huge terrace with sun loungers and a pool on the roof. We did think we would have full use of the kitchen in the apartment but this was not the case nothing was connected and there was no cutlery etc. The apartment was really clean and the staff were wonderful. The air conditioning worked a treat. We ate in the restaurant a few times and also had room service. We absolutely loved the island itself and the fishing was amazing.I did feel bad though as when we left we thought we had paid the bill on booking but we hadn't so sorry to the guy on reception who had to deal with my rant at 5AM. We will buy you a drink on our return next year. We will definitely be back. Jane And Rob, London

My wife and I stayed 3 nights, arriving at 8 PM by taxi(1200 escudos) from the VXE Airport. Reception was on the “0” floor, up 2 floors from ground level by a slow elevator, or in our case, tired of waiting, we climbed the stairs with our bags. A smiling multilingual receptionist copied our passports, gave the wifi info and breakfast hours, and our key card. We took the lone elevator up three floors to room #304, spacious, clean and tiled, with firm twins, nice closet, bathroom with tiled shower, good AC and an opening window with a side view of the port. Nice TV but no English, good open unsecured wifi and a wonderful 7AM breakfast with all food groups including fresh fruit, many varieties of eggs/omelets and some fresh cakes. The location is excellent with an Italian restaurant, ice cream shop, Fragata Central grocery and the 1.6km port promenade (extends from the Belem Tower Replica to the beautiful Laginha Beach) is all within a block.

The hotel is centrally located. The owner and manager is friendly, Wi-Fi and air recording work well, the restaurant serves reasonably price food ; it is only five minutes walk to the harbour and all the attractions. I fully recommend it this Hotel.

Petit hôtel avec une dizaine de chambres. Il est bien situé a 100 mères du marché central et proche de la mer et de la tour de Belém. Le personnel de la réception est très sympathique et serviable. Le chambres sont très propres avec climatisation et wifi gratuit. Ce n'est pas un hôtel pour y passer de longues journées mais parfait pour y dormir et ensuite se balader en ville ou dans la région. Pas de chaine de TV en français pour les infos. Petit déjeuner très correct.

Das Mansa Marina Hotel liegt direkt am Hafen und ist eine tolle und sehr gepflegte Anlage mit Palmen. Die Zimmer sind groß, aber teilweise etwas unpraktisch. Der Balkon ermöglicht einen ausgezeichneten Blick auf Hafen und Meer. Leider gab es ein Problem mit dem Waschbecken; es wurde jedoch in 15min wieder repariert. Das Personal an der Rezeption und im Restaurant ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, alle Fragen wurden sofort gelöst. Unseren Leihwagen konnten wir neben dem Hoteleingang parken. Das Restaurant hat eine große Speisekarte mit einer guten Auswahl an Weinen. Die Speisen waren ausgezeichnet, es dauerte nur etwas länger bis sie serviert wurden. Nachdem unser Abflug verschoben wurde, konnten wir unser Zimmer noch einige Stunden belegen - danke. Wir würden ohne Probleme wieder kommen.
