It is not very near the train station but walkable. Lobby is very spacious and roomy. Staff are very attentive. Enjoyed the onsen a lot! The onsen amenities are good (yakult are offered after morning bath while ice cream are offered after dinner bath, there is also a room filled with manga for your entertainment next to the bath). We were given a corner room and the vent was very noisy. The bed is moderately hard and so were the pillows. However, upon request, they changed us another room without much hesitation. They are also very prompt with their service when extra pillows were requested.

受付の応対は素晴らしく、部屋も作りがキレイで良かったです。ただ、バスルームに長い髪の毛が落ちていて、清掃は行き届いてないかも、と思いました。ロケーションは駅から近く、すぐそばにコンビニもあり、利便性バツグンです。値段も手頃で、また泊まりたいです。

We stayed three nights in a king room. Staff were friendly and helpful and English was understood and spoken. The room was of a good size, the bed comfortable and the bathroom functional. Internet was fast and free. Breakfast was a mix of some western and japanese dishes. No fresh fruit, but yoghurt was available. All in all a satisfying experience. The hotel was within walking distance of the major sites. Would stay here again.

リッチモンドホテルはどこでもふかふかのバスタオル、清潔な設備といった基本的な面が行き届いてると思います。 今回は水戸で偕楽園に行くためにここに宿泊。偕楽園観光にはとても立地が良いです。水戸駅からホテルも真ん前にある大工町駅まで頻繁に路線バスが通っており、駅から中途半端な距離のホテルよりははるかに便利かと。 ザ・ウェストヒルズ水戸はバス、トイレが完全に別スペース(ツインルーム)であり、それも使い勝手がよく高評価でした。 朝食も美味しかったです。

Stanze leggermente più grandi dello standard giapponese. hotel dagli interni eleganti e relativamente recenti, camere con buona dotazione generale. la posizione è ottimale per la prossimità alla stazione. come pressochè sempre in Giappone, pulizia ineccepibile. Ho tolto una stella a causa della colazione, che davvero non mi è piaciuta. Non tanto per la varietà/quantità, quanto per la qualità generale. Non ho apprezzato particolarmente il fatto di dover pagare l'accesso alla palestra, ma deduco che ci siano delle ragioni commerciali per questo.

The standards of the hotel, in terms of design, cleanliness & comfort amazed me and wife. Service from car park, reception to restaurant was really commendable. Breakfasts were meticulously served with first morning in Japanese set and the second in Western. I don't know how old the hotel is but the working and upkeeping condition of the interiors and fittings is superbly impressive and puts many newly opened hotels I had stayed to shame. For the price we paid, this is a really an unusually spacious hotel (room & public areas). During our 8 nights of travelling from Tokyo - Kusatsu - Minakami - Tokyo, this hotel was the best and we will highly recommend to anyone who visits Mito. My congratulation & praise to the staff and management of the Mito Plaza Hotel. Keep it up!
