Hotel berhampiran Bay Cruise Miyakojima Mont Blanc, Miyakojima

宮古島には10回以上旅行してますが、コロナも収まりつつあったので久しぶりに宮古島に行くことにしました。パイナガマビーチ沿いに行きたい飲食店が数軒あったので過去に数回宿泊したことのあるアトールエメラルドを選びました。平良港に隣接してるのでバルコニーから船を見るのが楽しく、繁華街からも近く、プールでのんびり出来るし、朝食が沖縄色豊かで日替わりで美味しい点などお気に入りポイントが高かったのですが、今回は非常に気分が悪い経験をしました。輩のような若い集団がエレベーターやロビーで下品な話をして騒ぎ、プールでも集団で入れ墨丸出しで騒ぎ、とどめに上半身裸の輩がフロントの女性に罵声を浴びせすごんでいるのを見た時には、こういった反社のような輩が平気で泊まれるホテルには私はもう泊まれないと言う結論に達しました。バルコニーから港を見るのが大好きだったのに残念です。

お部屋の内装がいいです。ソファーとテーブルがあって広いです。それに部屋全体の色合いが「南国に来た！」と思わせる、気分が上がるいい感じ。 朝ごはんのセルフマグロ漬丼がおいしかったです。ただ、朝ごはん会場はあまり広くないので、ゆっくり食べたかったら、思いっきり時間をずらしたほうがいいかもしれません。 大浴場もゆったりできてよかったです。離島なのにお湯をざぶざぶ使えて申し訳ない。 ホテルの場所は、繁華街（？）から歩いてすぐ。夜もいろいろ散策できて気楽でした。オーシャンビューではないけれど、それを補う部分がたくさんあって、快適でした。

We were quite apprehensive prior to our stay here as the ratings were quite low and some scathing for a Hilton resort hotel that opened about a year ago. There were even some minor hiccups during check-in that confirmed our prior bias to the negative. However, all that changed rather quickly night after night. And to make a long story short, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would stay there without hesitation if we were to return to the beautiful island of Miyakojima. In hind sight, I believe the hotel went through some early growing pains when they opened in June 2023. The island itself, much like other rural areas of Japan, is going through seismic demographic changes, leaving it with a shortage of local workers--most of their employees are either from the main island of Honshu or from overseas. After their initial launch, they seem to have made significant changes ironing out those early wrinkles. And this may always be a work in progress for any establishment for that matter: There were some issues we noticed with the lines for breakfast. Hilton Diamond members are able to make advanced breakfast reservations, whereas non-Diamond members are not thereby having to wait in line for breakfast that can be quite long. The issue here is that there is no separate line for the Diamond members, so when they go to the front to inform of their reservation, those waiting in line think they're cutting in (as they don't know what's going on and they're frustrated with the long lines to begin with) setting the stage for some potential 'fireworks' (angry customers) that actually happened during our stay. My suggestion to alleviate this would be--and I've seen this done at other Hiltons--to have 2 clearly delineated lines with signs: one for Diamond members with reservations, and the other for non-Diamond members. This way the staff doesn't have to keep explaining to the others waiting that some customers have reservations, and, the Diamond members won't feel bad going straight to the front ahead of the others waiting in long lines. Service at every function we experienced was great, we had no issue with the DIY bottling of drinking water, the swimming/walking at beach was fantastic, parking was abundant, and to top it off, we were blessed with favorable weather.

空港から近くてとても便利。そしてキレイ！ 部屋の窓から宮古空港が見えるほど空港に近いです。位置的にどこに観光に行くのにも便利な場所です。家族で「ファミリールーム」に泊まりましたが、２段ベッド風ふなっていて子ども達も大はしゃぎ。笑 部屋もとてもきれいでした。 また、外にはプールもあり、これまた子ども達は毎日入っておりました。笑 確かにビーチ沿いのリゾートホテルではないので海も見えませんが、なによりコスパは最高！この料金でこのクオリティなら満足度１２０％です。 昼間は観光や海遊びでホテルは寝るだけ、というアクティブなファミリーにはおすすめのホテルです。

The decoration of the hotel is good, but I'm not sure if it's due to the off-season. The hotel doesn't have a bar, and apart from breakfast, there's no dinner service. There's nothing around the hotel, and it's difficult to walk without a car. As a hotel without these supporting services, I think it is inappropriate.

I stayed for 3 nights in a 5th floor Standard Twin room in the Ocean Wing side of the resort. The Ocean Wing has 6 floors, and is older than the Coral Wing, which has 9 stories. While the Coral Wing apparently has wider views, the view from my room was nevertheless spectacular. Given the hotel faces West there’s a great view of the sunset from the ocean-view rooms. I also liked that my Ocean Wing room had wood floors. It was very spacious with 2 very comfortable double beds and a small seating area. The bathroom has shutters that you can open in order to see the view. A nice bonus was the beautiful Okinawa Botanicals bathroom products. While this is not a luxury resort, and the building and facilities are a bit dated, it is very well maintained. The grounds are gorgeous, with beautiful trees and gardens (and a very small golf course). The Yonaha-Maehama Beach on which the resort sits, is perfect - soft white sand and crystal clear water. You can access the beach on the south side of the resort only. There are lots of beach chairs and umbrellas maintained by the resort. I met a few staff who spoke good English, and with the others I had no problems communicating using the iPhone Translate app. The staff are so kind - absolutely every staff will greet you as you go by. I loved the restaurants, especially the barbecue restaurant. Also the buffet breakfast (included, you can also choose traditional Japanese breakfast) was excellent - I loved the fresh lychee and other fruits, omelette bar and espresso machine. I rented an electric-assist bike from the hotel’s beach club (¥1,000/hr) to explore Kurina-Jima, which was tons of fun. it was great having the 24-hour coin laundromat on site (wash ¥200, laundry soap provided). There are coin dryers or there was a full drying rack in the room, which was very convenient. The only thing I didn’t love about this resort was the pool. There’s unfortunately a raised platform that blocks most of the view of the ocean from the pool. I only saw kids and their parents use it during my stay. Fortunately the gorgeous beach is only steps away… Overall I found this resort to be super relaxing and excellent value for the price.

Avoid at all costs. This hotel is 3 stars at best and charges 5 star rates. The property only benefits from its stunning views and location which is not unique and can be achieved anywhere on Miyako. The mid level room was over $1000 and was nowhere near the quality of the other luxury hotels we have stayed at on our two week honeymoon. All of the reviews that are glowing are surely from guests who do not know what a $1000 hotel experience should be. The service at dinner was unbearably slow nearly 2 hours to deliver 1 soup 1 salad and 1 entree. Water was never filled. Our server was so preoccupied in long conversations with other Japanese guests and tables with loud and disruptive children. Lastly the bed was unbearably hard. I know this is a personal preference but trust me there was something wrong with this bed. A hard foam bed with zero fluffy surface at all equivalent to putting a 1cm foam pad on the floor. You will be much happier staying at the brand new hilton hotel.

滿意的地方在於酒店是整個Shigira Resort的酒店之一，度假區裏面非常大，可玩兒的也多，各個酒店和索道、海灘直接有免費的突突車或者巴士相銜接，非常便利。酒店有免費接送宮古機場的大巴，接機不需要預訂，就在到達出口；送機需要在前台預訂。周圍有黃金温泉、索道等等設施，門口的海灣有海龜出沒，各色海上運動也很多。我們報名了槳板和自由潛水tour。房間本身，有洗衣機，這點非常重要。每天下水幾次，濕衣服快洗就好。還自帶廚房、大冰箱、烤箱、咖啡機。空調很給力。 缺點：這個家庭房在Habor Wing，設施老舊日，地板還起包，打掃雖然及時，但發現了蟑螂。卧具不是很舒服。

Our experience for the most part was super enjoyable. We rented the ocean view room with a balcony (not the terrace) and it was worth every penny. I highly recommend cashing out a bit and renting the ocean view rooms. They were clean, spacious and well designed. The front staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was DELICIOUS and you can try a variety of different foods both from Miyakojima/Okinawa as well as other countries. We stayed for two nights and had breakfast twice and new items appeared each day. Our room also came with free passes to the The Shigira Lift Ocean Sky and the Shigira Onsen nearby. They also provide free shuttle busses to the nearby restaurants/facilities in case you didn't rent a car. My one and only complaint was the photos on both Tripadvisor and Google show a pool and the amenities description also mentioned a pool. There is NO pool and I was very disappointed with the false advertisement. I believe the picture was from before it was remodeled and relocated. You do get a free pass to the Shigira Onsen which is 3 minutes away and has a pool, but I feel the description and pictures should have been updated and more accurate. The only reason I didn't give this place a perfect rating. Besides that, a wonderful stay!

リピート２年目です。 4人家族で３泊しました。子供は2階のロフトが大好きで今年も着くなりすぐ自由に荷物を広げ喜んでいました。 ジャグジーは南国の気分を味わえ昼夜何回も利用しました。最高です。 ドラム式洗濯機がありストレスなく洗濯ができます。洗〜乾燥まで４時間程かかります。毎日洗剤を1つサービスしてくださいましたが、我が家はジェルボールを持参しました。 ホテル直結のビーチは宮古島で一番良いのではないかと思うほど最高です。 夜はヤドカリ天国です。星も観れ、シギラビーチの花火も見えます。 隣接しているイムギャーマリンガーデンも景色が壮観で海は魚が多く、見応えありです。 朝食もとても美味しく品も多いです。 宮古島特産の料理が多くあります。 夜のレストランコーラルブルーのビュッフェもオススメです(要予約) １年目に泊まったお部屋より今回は陽当りがあまり良くなかったのですが、除湿乾燥機があったため、水着などすぐ乾き助かりました。 対応してくださったホテルスタッフの方々も皆、丁寧で親切でした。察して声をかけてくれるというより、こちらから声をかけたらすぐに誰かしら対応してくださる感じです。 お掃除の方々は道ですれ違う際に目を合わせ笑顔で挨拶してくださる方が多く、とても好印象でした。 一棟ずつ屋根にシーサーがいてとても可愛いかったです。 宮古島へ行くなら是非泊まって欲しいオススメ宿です。また行きたいと思います。
