At a first glance hotel was pleasant, decorated nicely & clean. However no hot water on the first day we asked for someone to check it whom he said it’s broken, maintenance will be in tomorrow to fix it. 4 days later still nobody has fixed the shower and we’re still having cold showers. Room hasn’t been cleaned in that time either although stated it would be every other, no clean towels, no toilet roll, no water to drink (even if paid for) Tours are extremely expensive through this hotel so advise to to research elsewhere for cheaper options. Building works going on which blew dust into the room and covering our clothes/bags & bed. Screaming little kids with no respect for other guests outside the bedroom window at 6am after politely asking them to move along and be quieter they stayed and continued to shout. Buffet breakfast is gone unless you get there before start time (7am) and limited food allowed - don’t eat the pancakes either couldn’t be rawer if the chef tried. Wifi non existent on 3rd floor, Only positive is the pillows were comfy.

Reception employees are very kind and helpful. They offer a lot of services, such as scooter/helmet rentals and tours. The pool is nice, but looks a bit dirty. There is no safe, refrigerator, or tea/coffee, or water bottles in the room, like most budget hotels I have stayed. Also, if you chose to stay make sure to request the pool view side if you can, because, like most of Philippines, the rooster's are quite loud beginning at 4:45am each day. Bed is comfortable. Just a side note: Moalboal is experiencing a water shortage and there were a few times that we could not shower for a brief time.

The location was good, as it was very close to the bus stop and convenience store. Unfortunately not very close to the beach. But the tricycle ride is about 15 minutes to get there. The pool was amazing and we enjoyed the slides and having facilities for children. The breakfast was not good and extremely basic. Our room was spacious but the water heater was hidden under the sink, and we had to endure cold showers until we complained and they showed us. The staff was friendly and helpful. Considering the overall price, you get what you pay for, with a little extra. Would recommend for a 1-2 night stay, but not longer.

I loved how warm and their staff is. It's the perfect resort for a mix of rest, relaxation and adventure altogether. They have a game room. Perfect for barkadas or for siblings or colleagues who checks in at the resort. I was greeted with warms smiles when I arrived. Check-in process was smooth. Check-out process is a bit long though. The room I stayed in is their Tour room. It was clean. I loved my bed and pillows. Aircon, hot and cold shower, TV were working. I like that there are many outlets inside the room and that I could get refillable water at the lobby. My room has a terrace but the view of this particular room wasn't nice but it's okay. They have toiletries and towels. The only missing though is conditioner. Soap is too small over a day's use. Shower area doesn't have a cover so water splashes onto the outside tiles. During my return, I stayed in their villa room, there was no light outside the door so it was challenging to open at night. Villa room is nice too - it has bigger TV, a purifier and a small ref, which I didn't have in their Tour room. Bathroom needs provision for hanging towel near the shower area. No space to put our other toiletries. There was only a space for soap, so we had to put it on the tiles on the side. Regarding amenities, we like that the pool temperature is warm. However, the pool ladder is loose, which can be scary to use. I like that we can use their snorkeling equipment for free and the clear kayak boat is free too for 15 minutes. There's no beach front, as in sand on the beach for you to stay at. Just stairs directly to the water. Our comment regarding the restaurant, the spaghetti was soaky, wonton soup was bland and no fish options on the menu. But some of their food are okay. I hope instead of instant coffee, I can have the option to choose drip coffee or have more decent options in coffee (I was sad about it, as someone who's particular with her coffee). Hope they will have espresso-based coffee or at least brewed coffee available instead of just instant coffee. Internet connection is okay, it might not be quite fast enough for video meetings. I was advised DITO and Globe signal are good in the resort. But maybe it was only just inside my room. I haven't checked the internet speed outside. There's live band after/during dinner time. The group who sang on our stay on the 29th wasn't so good but the one weekend prior was great. During my return, they prepared a small welcome back surprise for me. I felt so special. I really appreciated it. You can also request for them to prepare a small surprise for couples (ie., anniversary). The staff remembers returning guest too! I was also surprised to receive a returning guest voucher (free 1 whole pizza and a pitcher of iced tea - can only be claimed within my stay). The sunset in Pescadores is beautiful too! Nice resort near beautiful White Beach in Moalboal. Perfect for people who like lounging on the beach, diving, and/or want a stress free vacation in a resort. It’s about a three hour drive from Cebu City and about an hour away from the typical tourist attractions in Moalboal (hence 4 stars for location). They provide basic soap and shampoo so I’d suggest bringing your own toiletries. It’s better for the environment!

Positives: Stayed five nights. The resort is blissfully quiet. Easy fifteen minute stroll to town for dinner each night. Breakfasts at the hotel are very good. Snorkeling straight out to the coral wall drop-off from the resort is easy. (At low tide use the sidewalk two properties to the south.) Compared to Thailand, Mexico, Honduras etc., some of the best snorkeling we have experienced in the past 40 years. So many new kinds of fish!, turtles, snakes (banded sea kraits) etc... Poppey and all the staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful. Beds are quite good. Hot water in showers. Great value for the money. Take extra care not to damage the coral or harass the marine wildlife. Think about future generation's enjoyment of what it there now. Improvements: Chairs around the property are all quite uncomfortable. Pool is nice although they overdo the chlorine quite a bit. We asked them to dial it back. An electric tea kettle in the room would be nice to make instant coffee/tea.

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Blue Orchid Resort! The serene atmosphere, stunning ocean views, and the privacy it offers make it the perfect destination for a romantic getaway. The snorkeling right off the shore is breathtaking, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We also have to mention that ChatGPT recommended this place to us, and it was spot on! If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and unforgettable experience in Moalboal, this is the place to be. Highly recommend! On top of all, I forgot my passport and went to Cebu, and the owner went out of his way to bring it back to me the next day!!!!

Our stay last Summer in Sea Turtle House was great and wonderful. Me and my family had enjoyed staying in this beautiful, safe and peaceful place. The owners and their staff are really friendly, generous, very helpful and so accomodating, truly an excellent service. При выезде возвращают. - Когда во всем городе из-за проливного дождя отключился свет, в отеле работал генератор. Но от вырабатываемого электричества питались только дверные электрозамки.
