Hotel berhampiran St Anne's Vineyards Moama, Moama

Was quite excited to be coming here for a night for a couples get away. Upon “trying to” enter the room the door lock was broken and this took us a few minutes to figure out, we almost called the front desk - but got there! Upon entering it was pretty nice, but not as great as a “presidential suite” should be! Other than the steps to the spa I’m assuming all other rooms are the same just cheaper? The bed was quite comfortable, however heater was too hot, then turned off it got cold quickly. Nice thought with the gas log fire though but no way to turn it up or down. Unfortunately the fridge didn’t keep our food or drinks cold :-/ … we went to the Roman baths and the floors were saturated, however they were good. We did want to have a massage pampering session but we’re told they were fully booked out to people (that weren’t even staying a night)? Um… ok but what about your overnight guests? Those that pay to come here for that experience? Not really good enough isn’t that the point? They’ve obviously outsourced their massage and pampering services to people who aren’t guests at the hotel to make some extra $ cause they have a few things here to fix up! On the outside and upon first coming it’s lovely and exciting but you quickly realise that it’s not what it seems. An adults only “retreat” yea but no food, no room service, no restaurant even though it states that it has one! And we noticed a big “for sale” sign on the front gate - so that explains a lot! We would come again, $299 was a good price to pay for a “presidential suite” or their version of one anyway! Bath bombs and champagne was “complimentary” BUT the candle isn’t!!! It’s $35!!! Doesn’t have a scent (we couldn’t smell it anyway) and is mixed in with the “complimentary” items??? Deceiving much! Overall had a nice time but disappointed there’s not accommodations like appointments saved and offered to guests for spa treatments, room service or even a continental breakfast? Would probably come again IF it sells and the new owners vamp the place up cause it’s just an old icon wasting away with the “impression” that it’s an adults only full spa resort experience when it’s not.

Good hotel in great spot near many restaurants and fast food. Staff were great. Yet was disappointing that restaurant was closed as was meant to have complimentary breakfast yet restaurant was closed in the busiest time of the year. Other improvements would be to have a smoking section on lawn away from rooms as had many people smoking on stairways where smoke would linger into room under the door.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean & had everything there. We didn’t eat their food as they don’t do breakfast, but they did have all crockery & cutlery and a toaster, so we able to make our breakfast there.

Saya menempah bilik untuk dua malam untuk keluarga saya, namun tidak ada orang di resepsi untuk menyambut atau menolong kami. Sebaliknya pekerja dari dalam restoran mereka melihat dan ketawa yang sangat buruk. Saya juga menyebut beberapa hari sebelum tiba bahawa saya mempunyai anak lain yang datang dan tidak memerlukan katil lain. Orang yang saya bercakap dengan telefon tidak mempunyai masalah dan hanya meminta saya tiba di motel. Namun, lelaki yang ”menolong” kami ke bilik kami menunjukkan kurang keramahan dan kesal kerana kami tidak menyebut bahawa kami mempunyai anak lain yang datang. (Di mana kami memanggil sekitar dua kali). Ruangan itu bersih dan berfungsi untuk sedikitnya, tetapi perkhidmatannya sungguh mengerikan.

We arrived with a tour group of 30 tiered hungry people. The rooms are so comfortable and clean. Meal delicious and served promptly. What really makes this motel stand above the rest is the manager’s Harry and Amanda. During the night my husband fell ill and we could not continue with our tour. Harry offered to drive me to the railway station to book tickets, AND dropping us there tomorrow. Amanda in her friendly efficient manner soon had our trip home sorted.We are very grateful and could not recommend them more highly.
