I stayed in the hotel during the July heatwave. Hence the best part of the hotel, the garden, was not really usable. The beautiful photos of the grand rooms at the reception level are really misleading. These rooms are not used for anything and are therefore adding little to the value. The worst bit was the room. Although on my own, I actually shared the room (and the bathroom) with the ants (plenty of them). When I arrived at 3 pm at 38C degrees, the fridge in the room was not working because it was unplugged. Basically the adapter was missing (both issues were dealt with after complaints, but issues like this should not arise in a 4* hotel). Note that the power points take in the old fashioned 3-pin Italian plugs and hence you need an adapter regardless of where you live. The bathroom, although clean, smelled of dampness and the shower sewage outlet was getting clogged after just a few minutes. The room, while spacious, felt very, very tired. Nobody has put a lick of paint in it for 50 years or so. Air-con was OK. The staff were a mixed bag. A young lady at the reception was the only one who put a smile on her face. The older members of the stuff looked like they are tired of everything and just waiting for retirement. Having moved from this hotel to the same-chain hotel in Bologna, the differences are to the extreme in every respect. In my mind, the only thing that is 4* in this hotel is the price. Everything else is at best 3* (cannot comment on breakfast, was not having it). On the positive side is the location of the hotel, 10 min walk to the Piazza Grande.

We have stayed here a view of times after giving it 5 stars a couple of years ago. Just to say it's still a very good hotel, and this time of the year it's even cheaper. Do not miss the restaurant. The locals use it, what could be better recommendation. So an easy 5 stars again.

Hotel is in a quiet area a little off from the highway. We had a corner suite room which was a huge room with separate living area and bedroom and it had a treadmill in the living. The only complaint is the shower water had a very strong metallic smell, not sure if it’s the plumbing or what but it was quite unpleasant. TV channels has cable TV channels so that’s nice too.

I have been coming to the hotel for 2 years, almost every other month for work. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Breakfast has good variety; all is fresh and well displayed. The food at the restaurant really good. The hotel is located in a convenient part of the town, you can walk to shops, cafes and restaurants. The area is beautiful and safe.

Die vielen negativen Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Die Zimmer sind sauber, die Matratze topp, unter der Matratze auch sauber, das Ambiente ist geschmackvoll, die Technik auf neuestem Stand (Zugang mit Karte, Heizung digital, Lichtschaltung vom Bett, elektrische Rollläden, Schranksave, 2 Fahrstühle). Es war gut eingeheizt. Auch das Bad war angenehm temperiert mit eigener Temperaturregelung und Lüftung. Am Frühstück gab es nichts auszusetzen. Großes Büfett mit ausreichend Auswahl, und leckerem Kaffee in allerlei Varianten. Deutsches Brot gab es nicht und auch kein Gemüse (Tomaten, Gurken) aber sonst gab es nichts auszusetzen. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, nettes, freundliches Personal. Die Lage ist im Nirvana im ländlichen Umfeld. Lamborghini hat ein Werk ganz in der Nähe. Wer will, kann dort ein Museum besichtigen. Ich kann das Hotel empfehlen, für den Preis allemal.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel was actually perfect from top to bottom. We had a junior suite for an overnight and I would love to spend a week in this charming place with their attentive and competent staff. The place has old world charm but doesn’t feel outdated in any way. Room is large, comfortable and pristinely prepared for the guests. They even have a pillow menu. The front desk team will find you whatever you need - no matter the day or time. We wanted to have our hair washed and styled for a dinner on the evening of our arrival. The front desk attendant did not stop calling around until she talked someone into taking us in last minute. At the bar, we received perfect service, along with complimentary snacks prepared freshly for us. - they were delicious ! We got in late and hungry from the Michelin restaurant in town where we had not liked the food - no problem, more snacks sent to our room with a bottle of wine. I am on a long trip through Europe and have stayed in various hotels - many 5 stars. This hotel was at the very top of our list service and accommodation wise. I will absolutely return to the charming town of Modena and stay at this hidden Gem !

PPengguna TetamuWe had a wonderful time in Italy. I ate at the RMH restaurant 4 nights in a row. The chef Tommasso came to our table after hearing it was our 4th night eating at the restaurant and made us a special meal for us, an Asparagus pasta dish. I ate three different type of tortellini dishes that were fresh and perfect. The steak was perfect medium rare. The wait staff were so kind and professional. Ibrahim my waiter treated us like family. Some of the best service I have ever had. Everyone was kind and was patient with our little bit of Italian and mostly English conversation. The restaurant it self was beautiful and elegant. More than I expected from a hotel restaurant.

The staff at this boutique hotel is great. They are always very accomodating and friendly. They all speak english well if that is a concern. The breakfast room is very nice but also very traditional in its offering. The rooms are roomy and comfortable and well maintained. We have stayed here twice and will continue to stay there in the future. Great eating establishments nearby as well.

PPengguna TetamuNous avons découvert par hasard cet hôtel à la suite d'une panne sur l'autoroute. Très propre, chambre spacieuse bien équipée. Petit déjeuner complet et accueil parfait. Il 'y a pas de restaurant dans l'hôtel mais il y en a un juste à côté excellent et pas cher. Les clients de l'hôtel peuvent prendre à emporter et monter le plateau directement dans la chambre.

The hotel was welcoming, the restaurant was excellent, the beds very comfortable with smooth monogrammed sheets! and the gardens pleasant for a morning stroll. There is also a pool. A very good hotel, can't recommend too highly. 'Old fahioned' in the very best sense.

PPengguna TetamuNaturalmente il giudizio è correlato a quanto pagato: non è un 5 stelle ma per quanto si versa, è ottimo. Camera pulita e letto comodo. Aria condizionata realmente funzionante! Mica come altri posti... Inoltre, il ragazzo presente al bar per la colazione è stato davvero accogliente. Mi ha fatto sentire a casa.
