My stay at Hotel Okrin Katagarama exceeded all expectations. Situated conveniently 10min drive to the Kathirkamam Temple and just steps away from the Kathirnalai Hilltop temple climb, this hotel offers the perfect location. One of the highlights of my stay was encountering the exceptional manager, Dilran Shamsudin. Dilran’s dedication to guest satisfaction was evident from the moment I arrived. His respectful demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond to accommodate guests truly stood out. The hotel itself offers comfortable and reasonably priced accommodations, making it an ideal choice for those visiting the area. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploration. I highly recommend Hotel Okrin Katagarama to anyone looking for a pleasant stay near Kathirkamam Temple. A big thumbs up to Dilran Shamsudin and the entire staff for their outstanding hospitality. I look forward to returning in the future

The hotel is well situated close to the national park!The staff is warm and detailed to concerns, like rooms, food selection. The staff is humble and kind to partake for any needs if required. I would definitely recommend a stay here, its in par to 4stars especially cause they address the guest. Over all fab stay!

We experienced a wonderful stay at LAVENDISH OKRIN HOTEL in Kataragama. The manager was receptive in every manner and helpful throughout. Atmosphere was admirable for a soft and cooling stay with the breeze from the swimming pool even though we were in kataragama. Meals vere perfect. Thank you. Daya & Sujatha Ranathunga.

Not worth it for the price you pay sadly. They were three times more than other hotels of similar standard. The food is not good so you have to eat from out. It’s clean and the rooms are good but not worth for the money you pay! There were hotels that offered the same service with food for much less.

No hot water, terrible wi-fi, air-conditioning broke down and TV didn't work. Poor weather conditions did not help however overall not a pleasurable stay.

Good location to visit yala Staff were very friendly Breakfast is a buffet which didn't have the most amount of choice but was decent Dinner was off a menu big portions and very tasty didn't seem to serve alcohol but didn't ask Room had a double bed which was two singles pushed together Air con was okay Bathroom was moudly and smelt damp

I'm a travel agent ( Happy Tours Kalpitiya ), I always stay this hotel when I travel to Katharagama with my clients . One of the best hotels in Katharagama..The staff is very helpful and friendly ..Clean & comfortable rooms ..Restuarants serves good foods ,the food is really tasty . We really enjoyed our stay.. I"ll come back again in April 2024..Thanks all...

Its an excellent place. Certainly would recommend to family and couples. Nice ambience. Food can be improved but it is still worth for this price. It is just on the outskirts of katharagama and it is quite accessible to the main city.

Another excellent stay of 10 nights at the Okrin hotel. Thank you to all the staff for going beyond your duties to make our stay extra special, especially the wonderful manager Mr Douglas who runs a very caring, happy and hospitable establishment. My parents and I always look forward to staying at the Okrin on our tours of Sri Lanka.
