One of the loveliest places I have stayed in years. I took my husband there for his birthday and asked the owner if he could help make it special. They went ABOVE and BEYOND to make the evening totally perfect. Rose petals, champagne and balloons in the room and a BEAUTIFUL private dinner in a separate space. It really was gorgeous, the staff so so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious!! The hotel is also in the perfect location. Close enough to walk into Montañita and the beach but far enough away from the crazy party area to not be noisy - it's the perfect balance. Plus it has a phenomenal view (better than the actual town lookout!). I would highly recommend Nativa Bambu for couples, families and groups, they really look after their guests and I can't wait to go back.

My wife brought me to Nativa Bambu for my birthday and the staff at Nativa Bambu went above and beyond to make the stay fantastic. They left a bottle of champaign chilling in the room, decorated the room with balloons and arranged for us to have our amazing dinner on a private outdoor patio at the restaurant. The room was luxurious, the staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant was great and the grounds/pool were beautiful. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

thank you very much to the entire hotel team. everything was perfect. they behave very friendly and professional. beautiful room, pool and area, which is in the hill. however, they have a small car and can drive you to your room. from the pool there is a beautiful view of the surroundings. it is a 6-minute walk to the beach and a 3-minute walk to the center. the breakfasts were very tasty and a large selection. beds comfortable and everything clean.😃👍🏻

Good food, wonderful views, welcoming staff. We stayed in a sea view suite, the room was lovely and it had been decorated for our honeymoon! There’s a great hilltop bar, pool and tub. Definitely recommend!

I would say maybe this is good quality for locals who have never been outside their country but this is not an hotel for international travelers. Specially considering that for these prices one can easily go to the beaches in Thailand with much better standards. The hotel does not have beach access. The city nearby Montanita is full of ************ or consumers. People on the streets nearby loom disoriented because they are under the influence of the *****. Terrible place to do vacations and a waste of money. I would neither recommend the hotel nor the location.

Stayed here in 2018 and everything then was amazing. The view can't be matched and compared to the hostels downtown, the VIEW IS SPECTACULAR! Thats where it ended for this time around family trip. Plumbing disaster in 3 rooms that a family of 12 stayed in. We are still here now and my elderly Mother in Law can't even use the toilet in the room. 420 room should be demoshed and rebuilt! Service has been zero accept for the hard working bartender at the pool. They couldn't even allow food to be brought up. The plumber was in out room in two days more than we were. No flushing water any where not even at the pool!! Disgusting smell of toilet water. As we have asked for a manager more than 5 times in 2 days , they simply told us no one is around. Just plain awful. Save your money and maybe try Dharma Beach, although we never stayed there. This is a 2 star MOTEL with a 5 star view. Absolutely disgusted with this entire New Years stay.
