Imagine arriving at 2am at a hotel where you have a reservation already paid (by points) and to be told that your reservation was cancelled due to no show at midnight. Then being told that the only way you can get a room is by getting another reservation. We agreed (hoping to solve the matter in the morning). A reservation was made at what was portrayed as “the lowest rate available” that was $40 more than what IHG’s app had. Then being given the run around in the morning. I have waited 48 hours to hear from the manager since I was assured that he would be in touch. After this hasn’t happened, I am writing this. Obviously the charge will be disputed with my credit card as well. There are plenty of hotels in Monterrey, including many fine IHG properties. Avoid this one!
