We stayed here for 2 nights. The first night we were there the fan in our bathroom started making screeching sound at 3 am. When we called down to the desk the woman was helped and switched our rooms and offered to comp of our nights we were there. When I went went to check about that later and give my information since I booked through ******* they were going to have to refund me differently (what the front desk woman said at 3am). The manager was there and when I told him what she said he wouldn't give me a refund for a night and said "we'll figure something out" no one ever checked back to with me and we left early the next morning. The bathroom shower was either dirty or stained. The beds were okay. The bagel my daughter grabbed for breakfast was stale.The woman at check in was super friendly. And was the woman at the front desk who handled the room switching and screeching issue originally. The pool was fine. But I would not stay here again.

The check in process was ok, front desk was pretty friendly. The overall condition of the hotel & room was worn & dirty. Very outdated, it doesn't look like they have replaced or cleaned the carpeting since it was built. We only had a 1 night stay which was more than enough.

I feel the room was not nice enough for 110.00 a night. The bed was not comfortable at all. Lumpy flat pillows also

Got a room there for the pool. The pool was shut down due to maintenance, brought up our concern and they gave us a free night, once the pool is back up and running. The TV in the room didn't work, didn't complain about, as we weren't going to be using it much.

Bathroom was not very clean. Rusty, dirty floor. Shower curtain wouldn't stay closed because rod was loose. Drain was slow so stod on water to finish shower.

The decor was ok, it was nice having fridge & microwave in room. The matteress on bed needs to be replaced. The springs were making noise everytime you moved. Both of us were sore & hurt! I only sleep 2 hours and then sat in office chair rest of the time. My husband slept on& off until he got sore. The breakfast was so so, was not kept full. The staff in the morning were not all that happy. We would not stay here again for sure. Also our cable to tv was not connected & i had to put my arm back there to screw it on. You need to keep up on customer comfort. The main you stay in hotel is to sleep. So the matteress on the bed is very important! Also the pool was not open either. I would have slept in sitting chair but there wasnt one in the room.

The staff and the owners are more then awesome! I have had so many issues when it comes to the customer service with Wyndham reservations! They have not refunded any of my deposits they have double charged me for stays and when I call the 800 number I get transferred to at least four to six different people. No one can ever answer a straight question.The staff here have been over on above helpful! If only the customer service through Wyndham rewards could take notes on how customer service should be! Overall I am above and beyond satisfied with the hotel and hotel management but very upset and unsatisfied with Wyndham rewards. Especially being almost a diamond member due to traveling all summer and having to stay in a hotel while we build a house has been very discouraging. So thank you to the super 8 motel in Monticello Minnesota for having great customer service!

Good location, just older facility in need of upgrades..Room was clean, bed was good..

Broken shower curtain, pool was not working, it looked like the sheer curtains had black mold in and on them from the air conditioning, room did not looked like it was vacuumed, popcorn pieces left on the side table

We went in the room and it smelled moldy had to go to the store and get spray. The lady at the front desk was rude like we were a pain to her. She was outside smoking and had to put her smoke out to help.Wont stay there again. There was a restaurant close(chatters) that we went to great food atmosphere and people. When we went in there they welcomed us and we had fun. As far as rating the motel.....NO never again

First of all, no wifi, exhaust fan in the washroom is dusty, the bathtub is so slippery it can cause accident, house keeper keeps on knocking and it is only 9:45 am. Check out time should be 11am.

Pool out of order in 95 degree heat. Ugh!! Breakfast was all carbs & sugar, it was supposed to be smashing?? Checkin person very amiable & offered refund when pool was closed, so that’s nice. It had higher ratings then other Super 8s?? It was reasonable.

I followed some reviews that said it was really clean, and we weren't disappointed. For being a Super 8, it was a pleasant surprise that it was so clean and freshened up on the inside. The outside still doesn't look like much, but don't let that fool you. The new owner is doing a great job on refinishing, freshening, and updating the insides. I mentioned one minor issue to the front desk clerk, and she was quick to take note of something that needed to be addressed. And the price was great, too!!
