Hotel Albatros

I would only recommend this hotel for retirees. There are no organized activities offered by the hotel, and there's nothing for children to play with or keep them occupied. They can either be in the water or in their rooms. The rooms are generally okay, though the cleaner didn't reach our room even once in three days. The bathroom door can only be closed from the inside due to warping, and there’s a persistent sewer smell in the room because there's no odor trap in the shower drain. Every sunbed on the hotel and beach grounds costs 5 euros, but if you want two beds, it’s only 9 euros. Of course, benches and chairs are only available at the public bar where anyone can enter. So, a 10-day stay adds up to nearly 100 euros in extra costs. Despite these issues, the staff is friendly, but they must adhere to hotel policies. The food selection is small, but mostly tasty.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms was nice size and the balcony was also a nice size with enough room for a table and two chairs, there was also a pull out washing line, which was very handy the Hotel is located in nice and peaceful area, close to the beach and not near a busy road. The only thing that let it down was the food and the fact they had several countries flags flying outside the entrance and the English Union Jack was upside down Just one bit of advice if you have not been to Corfu before. This idnt to do with Hotel .Please be aware that all the trips I went on didn't tell us about the hidden charges. Unlike any other country where I've been on a trip , they do not provide any food or drink.also if you have Mobility problems please check with the tour people.also please remember to bring your Euros as you get a better exchange rate in England

Just back from our 3rd visit to Albatros and never disappoints. The staff and owners are superb and treat us like family, this is what makes it so special. Pool and beach amazing, people moan about paying for sunbeds but we buy for the week and put a tag on them so no getting up rushing to reserve a sunbed do for us this is totally worth it. Food always great, not a huge choice but that’s great as encourages us to eat something we wouldn’t usually. No complaints from us. Big shout out to bar staff and can’t wait to go back next year

4th visit to this lovely family run hotel. All the team are wonderful, friendly and welcome us back warmly each time. A relaxing holiday was needed and it did it disappoint. Will definitely not be our last visit. Food is lovely and Yannis makes the best cocktails!!!

Another fantastic stay at the Albatross. Staff very attentive and friendly, food great and hotel is very clean. All rooms have a sea view and it's in a great location on the beach. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, we love it there !!

Just returned yesterday from a week staying at this hotel, this is my honest review. Positives; Location, absolutely fabulous, beach front and 15 minutes walk to the centre. Hotel is nice and clean, staff very friendly and work hard, gorgeous pool and smaller jacuzzi pool. Literally amongst all the beach bars and Tavernas and not forgetting The Golden Beach cocktail bar where there are shows on an evening. Negatives; Food a bit hit and miss, we stayed half board and I ate breakfast at one of the beach bars 4 days. The mattresses on the beds were rock hard and finally, the one reason I would not go back to this hotel is ... a charge of 9 Euros per day for 2 sunbeds and a parasol round the pool even as a hotel resident, this really did not sit well with myself and all the other British people staying there. I understand charging on the beach but come on, not at your hotel pool! We ended up going to the beach after 2 days and paying less for sunbeds at one of the bars. It is such a shame as the pool area and garden is lovely.

We have recently returned from our honeymoon with all 4 of our children and also one of the children’s friends. We stayed at the sister hotel Alkionis but spent virtually every day at Albatross as we were all inclusive. The pool was lovely, we weee happy to pay for the sunbeds as we used as a base if we then wanted to nip to the beach and the food was brilliant. The outstanding thing for us was the amazing staff and management though, so friendly & attentive and one of the reasons we are booking to stay at the Albatross next year. We can’t wait to come back

Stayed here for 4 nights in August and overall enjoyed our stay. The location is great, right on the beach and within walking distance of everything both Moraitika and Messonghi has to offer. Our room was pretty good and had a lovely sea view. The pool is great, not over crowded although charging for sun beds and parasols is a new one on me! Loved the beach bar... Really chilled spot. Food OK... Not great but a decent enough selection. We were half board but decided to eat out in Messonghi one night just for a change. All in all, pretty good and decent value for money.

First stayed in September 2020 and returned last week. Staff all remembered us and can’t do enough for you. The owners, Yannis and Takis - and Mum- always on site and helping out. Reception staff always happy and helpful welcoming us back. Special mention to bar staff and waitress- Mel, Yannis, Costas, Katarina others too but can’t remember all the names - the staff really are what makes this hotel so special. Nice rooms, air conditioning and great balcony with evening sun overlooking pool and beach - room 410. Pool stunning, really comfy sunloungers and no getting up early to get one as lots round pool or on beach which is right next to bar. Stayed all inclusive and food always plentiful and tasty, great wine and beer. Brilliant Greek night with traditional dancers and the owners and staff all joined in as well as a guitarist another night. We will be back again next year to enjoy a week of complete relaxation.
