Ulasan Hotel Royal Morioka

Great stay. Front desk was courteous and offered complimentary luggage storage after checkout. Room was nice, well designed and had a small couch which was really great! 10 mins from Morioka Station by bus (easy) or 15 by foot. Many local attractions, bars and restaurants nearby. If you like a dive bar don’t mis Soul Bar Jody across the street. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the room, but can share a few recs for good spots within a 10 min walk. There is also a Starbucks on the first floor if you need a little something to get you going before heading outside.

Room is spacious, breakfast is good

Hotel is around 1km out from Morioka station. Road towards the hotel is really bumpy with a lot of uneven surfaces. If you have heavy luggage or not physically strong enough, I suggest taking a taxi. the rooms are really spacious and value for its money. It’s very near supermarket, shopping district and right smack in the middle of 2 7-11. Right around the corner is the morioka castle. Overall, if you are a light traveller, highly recommend this hotel.

I don't want to give a single positive review. I've never stayed in such a terrible hotel. First, the smell of kerosene was overwhelming from the moment I entered the hotel, especially in the elevator. Second, I was bitten by a flea-like bug on my first day. The next day, I woke up and saw bugs on my black bag. The hotel staff responded by saying we brought the bugs in ourselves, and the kerosene smell in the elevator was from other guests. They simply weren't responsible. A few days into our stay, they finally realized the quilt was dirty and didn't have a cover, just a piece of cloth under it. The bugs were in the quilt. Furthermore, they didn't change the room items, not even the toothpaste. Three days into our stay, we only had one toothpaste tube, and on the last day, it was impossible to squeeze it out. This isn't really a hotel, it's a guesthouse.

It was a very good value for money accommodation, and I was able to reserve a clean and spacious room for the price. Another plus point was that there was a Starbucks on the first floor.

Very good hotel, just take a bus or taxi from the station, 20 minutes walk, close to attractions and busy streets, suitable for visiting Morioka Castle, the price is also very cheap

The convenience of this location exceeded my expectations. It's absolutely amazing. The hotel is within walking distance of Castle Ruins Park, Ishiwari Sakura, Hakuryu, Sakurayama Shrine, Tsuruha Pharmacy, and Eigakan-dori. The train station is also nearby. Downstairs is a public bus stop with numerous routes to more distant attractions like Takamatsu Park. It's absolutely fantastic. I've definitely booked this hotel for my next trip to Morioka. I also wish the front desk manager, Onodera-san, a quick promotion to president.

It's a bit far from the station. If you have big luggage, I recommend taking a taxi. There is a Starbucks downstairs and a restaurant in the hotel. Turn left and there is a shopping mall. It's old, but the overall maintenance is OK. The sanitation is clean and the front desk can communicate in basic English. It's not too far from Shenglouge, you can try it

There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel. The hotel does not provide parking spaces. Please park in the nearby parking lot. The room is very spacious.

Good location There is a Starbucks on the first floor and a convenience store nearby. The facilities are good But they don't even give you a bottle of water.

It is located in downtown Morioka, so it has good accessibility to other food and shopping areas. There is also a Starbucks on the first floor, so it would be good for those who like coffee. I was a little confused at first because Pronto and Starbucks were on the first floor, but other than that, the customer service was good. One downside is that it doesn't work. The only drawback is that you can hear everything being said in the next room. Still, the room was clean and I only have good memories from the trip.
