Mountain Lodge Telluride

A lovely hotel located above mountain village a 10 min walk to the gondola station. Nice bar and very expensive restaurant. Some issues: they operate a parking scam where you have to pay $45 per day just to park outside your room. Mean and greedy considering the price of rooms. Tiny gym, steam room but no sauna, hot tub and small pool area. Overall was good but lots of unsupervised screaming kids at the pool when we were there which spoilt the calm vibe.

Beautiful village. Nice and quite and surrounded by mountains. Not too far from downtown

Room was on the driveway with no privacy. Difficult to sleep with all of the constant traffic. Also, we were unaware that weddings and events would be taking place during our stay, which went on with loud music until 10:00 pm. The room was very dusty and needed to be cleaned more throughly. For the price, I thought the room would be to higher standards.

The room was small and we had to ask for coffee and coffee cups. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the setting was exceptionally beautiful.

The kitchen in the room was very handy with a teapot to heat water for tea and all of the basics that could be needed.

The room was small, which I expected, so that wasn't an issue. However, the connecting door between rooms was very thin, and I could hear almost everything my neighbors said and did. I could also hear every step from the guests walking around in the room above, making it difficult to sleep. Another disappointment was the parking situation. The hotel doesn't clearly disclose before booking that valet parking is mandatory and costs $45. On top of that, the process was inconvenient. I had to walk up a steep hill to retrieve my vehicle and then walk back down to the hotel after dropping it off with the valet. Overall, the parking experience felt frustrating and highly inconvenient.

Beautiful property and location, great staff, near the gondola, but one major drawback,. The windows must have been thin or cheap bc we were woken up every morning by delivery trucks and loud vehicles going by. It was so noisy in the mornings, it impossible to sleep in.

This is a wonderful place — and the staff was exceptionally helpful in every way. Highest marks!

Very nice location, helpful staff. The rooms (and bathrooms in particular) are small
