Hotel 5 Bintang Terbaik di Munich

Shoutout to Sandra and team for making this stay the most memorable stay in our two weeks trip to Europe! Sandra is the most amicable and friendly staff I met. We had 1-2 questions but she went all out to help us with it. She even gave us a little surprise as well. The hotel is just a stone throw away from The Central station. On the way back, you can buy food from Pommes Freunde which is not bad. Overall a lovely stay, will definitely recommend to family and friends looking for a stay in Munich.

What a gem of a hotel. Just back from spending a long weekend here and couldn’t be happier with this hotel. Superb central location that’s only a short tram ride, or 20 minute walk, away from the centre of Munich. Excellent service from friendly helpful staff throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Munich.

It’s very good, but enough issues to knock a star off. Lots of good things - very clean, modern room. Great shower. Good lighting. Comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast, with omelettes to order. Every sort of milk you could imagine (though except, oddly, we couldn’t find fresh - the one we thought was it was UHT!). Great gym on 14 floor. Internet lightning fast. The staff were friendly and gave you full attention when you were with them. Issues. Short staffed. On checkout, for example, only two staff, one of whom was on the phone … then the other could not get round an issue for a couple checking online, so had to be helped by the first. When a place is this swish, check in and out should be fast and slick. It wasn’t. Short staffed in the restaurant too: we’d booked a table but were ignored by the two staff who were covering the bar and the tables. A lot of tables and a long wait to be seated. Better training needed: at least greet and acknowledge the waiting guests. Restaurant food was ok. In the room: no access to the online hotel directory: reception didn’t really understand the problem and sent a spare remote up to us, then guessed maybe a software issue. No USB ports in the sockets, and none to loan (you could buy them apparently). (Tip: actually there there are two USB ports - on the back of the TV! They’re fiddly to reach but it can be done, and they charged a phone overnight).

The location is perfect! The service for cleaning the room is below 5 star Marriott-chained hotel standard. The housekeeper forgot to replace towels and just organized the bed a bit, replaced water and left the window opened. After checkout, the receptionist provided bottles of water which is a very nice move.

Finding a place to smoke a nice cigar in Munich is difficult. This is a nice room, but tends to get quite crowded towards the evening, with lots of cigarette smokers stepping in for a short smoke as well. They usually don't serve drinks inside the cigar lounge, but will bring them to the cashier outside and you then need to carry them inside youself (presumably to protect the server from being exposed to the smoke). The lounge though is quite nice and if when you finally get your drink is a very enjoyable place to tend to your cigar.

الفندق كان ممتاز جداً وتعامل الموظفين واستقبالهم لنا كان رائع، خدمونا في كل شي احتجناه، الغرفة جميلة و الإطالة جيدة و مكان الفندق جميل وهادئ بعيد عن ازعاج المدينة، الفندق يعتبر بعيد عن وسط المدينة ب ١٥ دقيقة تقريباً. الفطور كان عادي ولا يوجد فيه خيارات حق العرب لكن البدائل موجودة حوله من مقاهي و بقالات. استمتعنا بالتجربة.

Total score 8/10 Would recommend to stay again Room: Very stylish and functional. Nice touches and quality throughout. Bed was very comfy with good quality linens. Nice plug sockets but no direct usb for a newish hotel. Bring a travel plug. Only downside which was slightly annoying the room features advertised are not present. We were missing the sound system stated on website. Our original room had some stains, possibly blood or dark red nail polish on bedding. Upon informing staff nect morning we were upgraded for rest of stay. This was a nice gesture. The room has coffee machine but no tea facilities. We did ask in the night and were told it was not possible. However then next day a kettle was sent to the room. Bathroom: Perfect. Good shower and amazing bath. Really nice products. Restaurant Izayka was really very very good. V cool vibe. Music in the background. The food was outstanding and reminded me of a trip to Japan. The robata grilled chicken was outstanding. I felt the quality and delivery to be on par with Nobu and Hakkasan (london) Service Few blips here and there but overall. Staff were polite and helpful. Pool and spa Visually stunning and very nice. Overall a great stay in Munich and shall be recommending to friends and family.

I can't say enough great things! We booked a Signature Suite-Park View. A few weeks before arrival we received an email from a manager asking if we needed anything. Because we are regular travelers, we already arranged airport transfer with the concierge, sessions at the spa and made reservations at the hotel restaurant through OpenTable. The manager was able to quickly confirm all reservations and ask if we needed anything else. We requested extra bottles of water in our room and upon arrival there was plenty enough for our entire stay of 9 nights as well as some Oktoberfest souvenir mugs and a charcuterie board, very nice! The room was very clean and quiet. Although it was labeled park view, the trees were so full we couldn't really see the park and that was fine. We opened the windows and could hesr the kids play. Closing the windows cut off all outdoor sounds. Above the trees were beautiful buildings in the distance, you really felt like you were above the city, but not in a high rise. The spa was top notch and our favorite part were the heated lounge chairs by the indoor pool. Services were standard, I suggest booking something for right after your arrival to relax. We sat by the pool on the heated chairs for hours. The restaurant was great, we enjoyed the relaxed setting outside on the patio a couple of times and appreciated a return to eating a meal that isn't rushed. Europe understands that a meal should not be hurried. That being said, if we needed quick service, in room dining was fast! We love that there was something to order 24/7 because one night we returned from Oktoberfest and knew we should eat more to manage all the beer we drank lol. The coffee was mild, the hollandaise was perfect and the croissants were tender. The front desk staff were always pleasant, one night we returned from Oktoberfest and needed ice for a bruised knee, we asked at the desk instead of calling room service and within minutes of getting to our room, the ice arrived. Overall we are VERY happy with this stay. We were not familiar with the hotel brand and made the decision mostly based on location and cost. The pricing was commensurate with two other hotels we were familiar with, but we wanted to try something new and are glad we did. My high school friend and her husband also joined us and stayed there, they had no complaints and thanked us for finding the hotel. We also enjoyed some English language TV starting at Channel 60 and also were able to watch Netflix by mirroring the TV with our cell phone. The hotel is within a 5min walk to a pharmacy, drugstore (DM) and a great place for breakfast called, ”California Bean”. Worth a try, we went two days in a row. There was a small wait, but worth it. We also had the hotel mail things home for us and deliver a gift to local friends, everything went off without a hitch! We well return and look forward to the same excellent service. Service at Bayerischer Hof starts outside, when arriving by car: They take care of your luggage and take the keys to park your car. Reception is very friendly, helpful and effectively under the Corona-Regulations, to provide a good room for you. Breakfast is still good, but before Corona-Times it was definitely better. I only managed a Dinner at Trader Vic's, which is quite nice for tourists, but not the original food I know from Asia myself. The four days at the Bayerischer Hof were the most comfortable time I had this year. And now I plan to be back there in December - same hotel.
