Pernottamento buono, nella camera doppia con letti separati il bagno è comunque piccolo e i movimenti in camera non sono agevoli. Mancano le grucce nell’ appendiabiti, non c’è balcone. Colazione ricca con frutta, dolce e salato in abbondanza. È un po’ caro. Ha però il garage interno sorvegliato e possibilità di custodire le biciclette e acquistare i biglietti per le grotte che sono a circa 10 minuti di cammino.

The Hotel Vila Katrca is a good value for staying in Ljubjana. It is about a 20 minute walk to Triple Bridge. It has almost a hostel like feel to the hotel. While it was a good value it was definitely not a luxury. The first thing we noticed was a slight smell of cigarette smoke when we entered the room. This lingered our whole stay. We had a queen bed and a pullout sofa for our family of 4 adults. This was sufficient. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were very flat. The room was clean spacious. The bathroom was small. The hotel employees and owners were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. We went to the wrong hotel and they helped up get to the correct one easily. There is only someone at the hotel in the mornings for breakfast. You must get a key out of a lock box for your room, they email this information to you. Breakfast was nice: hard boiled eggs, pastries, meat and cheese, bread and rolls, jam and honey, tomatoes, capers, etc. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and there is free parking. This was our second visit to Ljubjana, we would stay here again, but if it is your first visit I would suggest some place closer to the city center. If you do not have a car and parking is not an issue there are plenty of places near the town center, but be aware they are expensive. With a car parking is an issue, the Hotel Vila Katrca was a good compromise.
