Ulasan Muscat Plaza Hotel

My overall experience at Muscat Plaza Hotel was somewhat good. Unfortunately, they lacked many things. For example, the room wasn't fully prepared, and I had to ask for toothpaste, slippers, and a toothbrush. Additionally, the gym lacked many tools. They only had a treadmill, which is not what I consider a gym. It also closed too early at 9:00 PM. I was only satisfied with the reception assistance and support

A good hotel for business traveller ... easy to access and friendly ... granted a late check out at 230pm which is good for my evening flight.

Hotel : bersih, nyaman, cocok untuk liburan. Pelayanan sangat baik dan memuaskan, ada lift, troli untuk koper, ada swimming pool, ada tempat gym, ada sarapan (berbayar). Hotelnya sangat strategis, banyak resto di sekeliling hotel, laundry, printing, dekat dengan pantai dan dekat dengan kedubes dari berbagai negara.

Отель старенький, требует хорошей реконструкции. Кондиционер работал, вода была, правда иногда горячая с двух кранов), завтрак однообразный, но голодным не останешься, но это всё мелочи, если вы приехали наслаждаться красотами и знойной жарой Омана.

Great value hotel which also serves breakfast and has free parking available outside too. Breakfast can be a bit hit and miss depending on what you like but there is usually some there for everyone. Daily there was Karak Chai, Tea, Coffee, Milk, Cereal, toast, croissant, Cakes, fruit, salads, Boiled eggs and also some flatbreads meat/sausage and some of the daily options changed like Omelette/fried eggs/ puri bhaji/chana/dhal/mini pizza/ pasta/ noodles. We had a double room and it was the most spacious hotel room ever with a large double bed, wardrobe, dresser, table, chairs and spacious large bathroom with walk in shower with great waterflow. The AC in the room was fabulous too, not the most stylish room ever but well worth the price. There is also a small rooftop swimming pool and some bits of gym equipment on the top floor which, we didn't use (I don't actually know if anyone uses it) but i was told it was open from 0900-2100. Also it's a great location with plenty of food options within a short walk including many houshold franchises. And if you want a very late bite there are some places open close by open to the early hours with a short walking distance.

Thumbs up: * location: KM hypermarket, Hardeez, KFC, plenty of other restaurants, laundry, barbershop,... all with-in a short walking distance. * parkings: plenty of public packings in front of the hotel. * breakfast: was decent enough. Thumb down: * staff: horrible reception, extremely inattentive. I kept calling to confirm before I reached, they do not answer! At the check-in: no information s at all. Calling from the room, guess what! no answer! At checkout, I asked for a bellhop, waited half an hour, no one came! Went down and took the trolley myself, receptionist did not care!

We went for a business trip & booked couple of rooms, the rooms were big and so clean. Execellent location with multiple choices of attraction nearby! Food was good with attentive service, will recommend this hotel.

The worst breakfast ever.. no food name tags on the buffet, noone was checking the station for refilling the juices, no one from service staff coming to cleaning the table (note that other tables also not cleaning) or asking if we needed anything, some of the staff that were there just coming taking food from the buffet in front of the guests and coffee and going on the back and noone cares about the guest. I spoke with the chef and he was just having the headphones on. After speaking with the chef one of the ladies went to the buffet and started removing all the food while the guests were still sitting there for breakfast. Very very bad experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with 0 service. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎🤮🤮🤮🤮

We stayed in triple room for a night here. 6 was well-sized for us, but there was literally no view. The window opened to the wall of the nearby building. There were also no slippers for the bathroom. We had to call twice and wait for nearly an hour for them to be delivered. The beds were comfy, and we had a nice night's sleep. The bathroom and the room were overall clean and well maintained. The breakfast was decent for this hotel. There were good options to cater everyone's needs. However, what happened in the breakfast room was totally indecent and inhumane. An Omani, who seemed to be the owner or manager of the hotel, physically attacked an employee and shouted bitter words at him, threatening him with his words . The employee was gentle enough not to react, but the Omani's attitude, shouting, and bad words ruined everybody's breakfast in the room.

... Gaststätten, Bus-Stopp in günstiger, zu Fuß erreichbarer Distanz. Tolle Gestalt des Gebäudes: Sämtliche Fassaden des sehr hohen, sehr auffälligen Gebäudes sind übersät mit eng stehenden Fenstern, die ihrerseits außerdem nach oben hin von orientalischer Ornamentik gekrönt sind. Ein höchst interessanter Anblick, der ganz besondere Bewunderung verdient, da die Hotel-Szenerie in der umgebenden Nähe architektonisch weitestgehend geprägt ist von gesichtslosen, klotzigen Blöcken. Der angenehme Eindruck setzt sich nach Betreten des Hauses fort: der Besucher betritt eine sehr großzügige und auch äußerst freundlich gestaltete Lobby mit vielen Sitzgruppen. Ebenfalls Format besitzt die Rezeption. Allerdings ist bedauerlich, dass die ‘Besatzung‘ dieses Bereichs nur sehr bedingt als sehr freundlich oder kompetent zu bezeichnen ist. Es gab einige Male ärgerliche Schlampereien. Unser Zimmer war sehr großzügig dimensioniert und auch sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Die Aussicht auf die Stadt und die dahinter liegenden Berge war großartig. Hier sei aber angemerkt, dass nicht alle Zimmer des Hauses einen solchen Ausblick ermöglichen! Tipp: vor Ein-Check Zimmer anschauen! Sehr positiv zu erwähnen sind noch die 4 Lifts. Man hatte durch sie kaum Wartezeiten. Obwohl das Hotel gut besucht war! Ärgerlich waren: 1: der Fitness-Bereich. Alle dynamischen Geräte waren defekt. 2: Der Poolbereich: eng, nicht gewartet (einmal war eine alkoholisierte Gruppe lautstark zu Gange. Niemand kam, um Ordnung zu machen). Außerdem war am Becken die Zugangsleiter kaputt. Auch gab es nur wenige, teils sogar defekte Liegen. Frühstück: War ausgezeichnet; Freundlicher, großer Raum; Gute Auswahl am Buffet; für Nachschub war stets gesorgt. Die hier tätigen Personen waren sehr freundlich. Fazit: Insgesamt ein empfehlenswertes Hotel; weil gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir würden ggf. wieder hier übernachten. Tipp an die Direktion: setzen Sie Ihren Fitness- und Freizeit-Bereich in Schuss!! Gegenwärtig: Zweimal Schandfleck
