Overall this hotel met our needs for a less expensive hotel for a quick overnight stay. We didn't need all the frills on this stay. The hotel is an older hotel and has been renovated. The bathroom (tub and toilet) area and quite small but you can manage. They had a nice breakfast that started at 5:00a.m. which was great due to our early departure time.

Red Roof Inn Muscle Shoals is family friendly with southern hospitality as its specialty. Whether here on business or just to get away there is plenty to do in the area. If you enjoy fishing the Tennessee River is just minutes away. For the avid golfer we are located near the Fighting Joe at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Take a step back in history and enjoy a tour of the Belle Mont Manson, or take the kids to Spring Park where there is a waterfall and amusement park rides to enjoy. The front desk person was great, check in was very fast and easy. The room was nice enough and there were enough towels, but the corners of the bathroom and the corners of the carpet had not been cleaned in a long time and the couch was stained. The surfaces in the room were all streaked with whatever they used to clean. Downtown Florence but pretty noisy, with a lot of street noise and motorcycles, and the walls here are pretty thin. There was a big metal thing sticking out from the bed that you could cut your leg on and the elevators always smelled like cigarette smoke. Breakfast was pretty bad, with scrambled eggs but no omelets, no sausage or potatoes, kielbasa that wasn't even hot. All the juices were watered down. Overall, I thought it was overpriced.

Lovely experience. Close and in walking distance to lots of fun restuarants and bars. Cool shops and even an old theater close by. Staff was friendly and nice. Parking was a little of a challege but the staff was very helpful with this too.
