Ulasan Naseem Hotel

We were very impressed with our 3 night stay at Hotel Naseem. We opted for the deluxe seaview room and were rewarded with a beautiful view out over Mutrah Harbor, the corniche, and the fish souq. The hotel is small and unpretentious, literally right across the road from the western end of the corniche, just a short walk to the Mutrah Souq and fish souq. There are plenty of really good restaurants and coffee shops all along the corniche, all within a 1 to 10 minute walk. So many interesting walks in the area – through the streets of old Mutrah and a great overland hike to Old Muscat where you can see the palace, forts, and tons of museums. Our room was bright and airy with plenty of windows. The AC and TV worked well and there was a good little mini-fridge as well. The Wifi was OK, just a bit on the slow side (our 5G data connections were much faster). Everything was modern, clean, and well-maintained, and a great shower. Plenty of wardrobe space for all your stuff as well. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Most people had their breakfast in the coffee shop downstairs, however our booking didn’t include breakfast, so we opted for a simple Indian style breakfast a few 100m down the corniche. At only about 1 OMR ($2.50) we had a great breakfast of coffee, chappati, lentils and curried potatoes – delicious! Overall we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this place to all other travelers who want great base in the Mutrah area. We felt this hotel to be very good value at only US$52 per night.
